We are curious and want to see, learn and get inspired.

September 1, 2019 at 8:58 am #34002Here’s to the first birthday in September
September 1, 2019 at 9:02 am #34003Trish, I love the ballerina pic, too, and you really made it look outstanding. Well done. You certainly used a lot of masks in your second pic to great effect. How many? Love the colors you used.

September 1, 2019 at 10:45 am #34008Hi Mcfin , Thank you, there are 3 masks, 3 papers, 1 overlay and the text
September 2, 2019 at 12:31 am #34035We must have been writing at the same time, Trish, because I didn’t see your birthday card until now. Your parties are always such fun!
I made this today for my gaming group. Inspiration was from the August Pop Art Tut/Tech challenge. RuPaul is a Fabulous Diva; he should join my group. LOL

September 2, 2019 at 2:00 am #34042Love that post Mcfin, was wondering who it was, thought Cher, sorry dont know a RuPaul, we used to have one called Danny LaRue, wonder if they where related or perhaps picked up on a famous name. What is your group love to take a look. I am saying we had, I dont knboiw what country you are in.
September 2, 2019 at 5:30 am #34045Ooh, those are really pretty, Trish.
RuPaul has been a famous drag queen here in the U.S. for decades. “RuPaul Andre Charles is an American drag queen, actor, model, singer, songwriter, and television personality. Since 2009, he has produced and hosted the reality competition series RuPaul’s Drag Race, for which he has received three Primetime Emmy Awards, in 2016, 2017, and 2018.”

September 2, 2019 at 9:08 am #34050Playing with the mask maker script. Invert mask data was also used. Chisel, buttonize, ripple effect frames. Painted Lady butterfly, and purple sage flowers with rain drops on them. “Nature gives to every time and season some beauties of it’s own”. Charles Dickens
September 2, 2019 at 3:56 pm #34061Would you say it’s too early to be making Christmas cards? I don’t. 🙂 The days are getting noticeably shorter. And I have lots of cards to make. Here’s one that I will be printing, and posting, others will be sent via email.

September 3, 2019 at 3:43 am #34076Michele, thank you yet again for your kind comment. I have been using the maskmaker script , with the photo mask script. As I’ve said, I bought them quite some time ago, and only just started using them, as I like to make my own masks. x

September 3, 2019 at 9:20 am #34082Wow, I was away just for a few days, and when I am back, I see so many beautiful layouts, papers, and cards.
Trish, Michele, and Sue, all of your work are amazing and a joy to see!
September 3, 2019 at 12:27 pm #34084Afternoon , I had started to have thoughts of christmas , but thought its early yet, then Sue you went and did it with your beautiful card, so I had to have a got to get it out of my system . xx
September 3, 2019 at 4:19 pm #34091I’m so pleased that I inspired you to get into the Christmas spirit, even it was only to get it out of your system, until nearer the festive season Trish. You made a beautiful festive card.
Mask maker script, flower punch, character map, seamless tiling for the background paper, using the masked photo, effects, distortion effects, twirl, buttonize. For the text, I used the selection tool, promote to a new layer, in order to make the letter B stand out. I read the quote online, and thought seeing as we are now in September and winter is looming around the corner, it inspired me to use a photo I took of a Blue Jay, around this time last year.
September 4, 2019 at 6:49 am #34101Thanks so much, Cristina. 🙂
Trish, you made a beautiful card.
Sue, Loved your blue jay on FB and love it again here.

Trish, your work is so diversified. As Michele said, you deserve a prize. 🙂
September 9, 2019 at 8:24 am #34269I haven’t been very creative lately. I will try to catch up and start working on the Double Take Challenge and with the Lab 9-Module 09 tutorials. Let’s see how far I go 🙂
I started this layout some time ago, and nothing I was doing was pleasing me, but I finally managed to finish it.
