Corrie, thank you so much, I really appreciate it! <3
Wow, such outstanding cards! Great job, Everyone!
I am not going to be able to post any cards… I haven’t started yet… We’ll have family next month, after almost three years, but before that, we will travel… So I’ll have to hurry to have everything finished before we do. This means Christmas decorations and so. But before, I will enjoy what everybody is creating.
Count me in 🙂
More beautiful pages… So many great ideas!
Here is my page for December… I will start working on the rest of the month’s pages later.
Credits:
Background paper: Lilypad<prd_basicallykraft_pp_07 // Image from anncapictures-Pixabay
Font: Soffia Slant // Cluster: ps_marisa-lerin_205672_cluster-templates-kit-2-scrap-cluster-5_pu
I also changed the colors to fit the Christmas theme. This cluster was a good exercise for me to practice the string shadow. Hopefully, it’s correct! 🙂
Corrie, like everyone, I am happy you took the time to let us know how you are doing. My best wishes and a speedy recovery!
I love to see what everybody is doing. Great work, Everyone!
Here is my page for October.
Background paper: Lilypad – Pink Reptile Designs – Basically Kraft-pp09
Font: Soffia Slant
For the holiday date, I used Layer Styles>Outer Glow
Carole, you have an eagle eye! 😀
I checked the file again and remembered I didn’t use the Overlay in the end.
I tried it (halftone 05 overlay), but I decided to go the same route you showed in the video.
New Layer > Flood Fill with a lighter shade of the background color + Grass Texture.
I thought the result was a bit too dark, so I duplicated the Texture Layer and changed the Blend Mode to SCREEN.
——————————————-
I loved your tip: Flood Fill Active, hold the Ctrl Key, and it changes to Dropper Tool.
Dawn, I am sending my best wishes and hoping you feel better soon, my friend. I’d love to see your pages!
Here is the March page.
I used a freebie overlay from Design Cuts.
The font is Soffia Slant.
Hi, Sue!
The photos are lovely, as usual.
I hope you are having a great time at home.
Here is what I have so far… I like the new templates very much; I now have to look for photos that fit them as the ones I used were not.
Photos will be from Pixabay, Pexels and Unsplash

Dawn, I am so happy to know your worries are gone! <3
Corrie, I think you are going to have surgery this week. I am sending my best wishes and a speedy recovery.
I am registered too, and looking forward to seeing the new templates!
Hi, Everybody!
I just registered for this workshop, although journaling is definitely not my forte.
I will be away during that time, but I will have the material to do at a later time. This workshop will probably help me to start adding more journaling to the layouts besides dates and places.
Within a blink of an eye, more beautiful pages have been posted. Great work, Everyone!
Sue, considered it done! 🙂
I am glad you decided to participate; all four entries are sooo beautiful! Your photos are outstanding!
Pirkko, lovely photos.
Sue, I love the subtle use of the out-of-bound technique and the frames… they really enhance the photos.
Dawn, you created a lovely page with photos of beautiful Australia.
Susan, because you desaturated the background, the photos really stand out. Lovely layout.
Michele, like Dawn, I like to see your Fab Diva layouts very much…Your creativity in making daily pages always amazes me. Great work!
Ann, Colin, Sue, Mary, Shirley, Bonnie, and Corrie, lovely work as always.
Ann, thank you for pointing out and adding the link to the new Module 6 of the Basic Scrap Course. I’ve just watched it… great class and ideas.
Dawn, I will echo Michele‘s comment and say that I have been missing you and your cards. Your work is so unique, elegant, and beautiful. Great to have you here again! <3
Sue, thank YOU so much for your kind words. It means a LOT to me, my friend! 🙂 <3
This is a great challenge, and I love the example with the buttons. Once I’ve made a layout for the Bootcamp that had a button frame… This could be another idea to use buttons as a frame.
Lovely layouts, ladies!
Corrie, I love the contrast between the smudged blackboard and the rainbow alpha. Also, the watercolor sketch looks great…Have to check this technique… I am making some layouts but even slower than before, if that is possible.
Pirkko and Mary, those layouts are also nice examples of how to use the rainbow colors!
Sue, beautiful layouts and photos as usual… Waking up early in the morning for sure pays off to get those great shots!… I love the elegant details you added up to the page.
This will be a great improvement to the site! I agree with what everyone said above, and Rene’s suggestion will make it faster and more user-friendly.
I can see that you’ll have a lot of work ahead of you… I have always wondered how you manage all of this. 🙂
I have been a bit absent lately, but the good weather and a bit of normality back is a big invitation to enjoy the summer, as it doesn’t last long… Also, traveling more too.
But coming here and seeing all this beautiful work is a joy for the eyes.
Great work, Ann, Mary, Susan, Pirkko, Brian, Corrie, Anne, Sue, Bonnie, and the newcomer, Kasani Karvas!
And a special compliment to Dawn for posting again after so many years. Your cards are gorgeous as before!
Brian, amazing how you use all those scripts. You are the best script promoter Carole could have!
Wow, Dawn, like Michele, I am so happy to see you here! It has been really a long time, but we never forgot you. Hope everything is fine with you, and hopefully, you’ll share some of your lovely cards and work again.
Best wishes, my friend! <3
Susan, the first stage is always denial… Michele and I have been there! lol
Michele, I also joined the Fontaholics Anonymous, probably at the same time you did, but I have to confess that sometimes I relapse, LOL.
Before, I also downloaded goodies from Design Cuts and Creative Market sites, but not anymore. Now that I am starting to create layouts again, I try to use different fonts to justify my addiction! 🙂
