Hi Cristina, a great idea for this word challenge of ALMOST …. your page is really cute and lovely! well done!
Dawn.
micfin, a creative page and looks great! I do something similar to Sue, when I am trying new ideas I will always save a file at the point I am happy with it. and then duplicate the file and use it for testing new things so I don’t change things without realizing it and end up loosing what I was happy with. I enjoy seeing your projects…. best wishes
Dawn.
Hello Marlene, a very nice page and once again great story… memories that will never be forgotten I bet!. Enjoy your time away.
Like Cristina I can not think of anything for the Theme – Accidents and Word – Almost Challenges, so for now will give them a miss.
Dawn.
Sheila, Thank you for your kind comment on my page… I really enjoyed making the clusters and I can see myself making more as they make great elements to have on hand for our projects.
Sue, Thank you also for your kind comment on my page. Your Christmas Tag project is lovely and the Word Art looks great !
best wishes to you both,
Dawn.
Hello Cristina and Thank You , for your kind comment on my page for this challenge. I very much appreciate it….

Hi Sue, a very nice framed rose project. roses are such a beautiful flower.
Dawn.
I decided to make an album cover based on the requirements for this 1-2-3- challenge. Finishing this album will take a bit of time and when finished will be put on a DVD for viewing instead of printing. The photo on this page was a free one from the old design shop as I did not want to put a photo of other family members online without their permission.. However this will still give you the idea.
This is also my first attempt at making clusters .. the 2 clusters are the cluster frame at the top and the lace circle cluster at the bottom….These are the scripts I used to help create my elements for the clusters….a purchased Rose Script from JoannesDigitalDesign and Cassel’s Bow 3 script for the thin bow – Cassel’s CrochetLace 1 script for the ribbons – Cassel’s Lace Tube for the lace circles – Cassel’s Chain Bead tube for the string of pearls, also the Paper Butterfly Script and I modified the finished butterfly to have the wings stand upright. the daisies are a PSP tube in the program. I also made a spiky Halo effect element for the bottom cluster. the heart shape is one of the presets which I have bevelled a little. I used an embossed overlay that I have in a collection I purchased to add to the background paper. The font is GarineldoNo-07.

Hello Cristina! your page is very nice … I also like the paper and elements you have used. the frame you created looks good on your photo and everything blends well together.
G’day Marlene!, great title for this challenge. also your journaling about Ned Kelly one of our early bushrangers here in Australia and all your elements make a nice page.
best wishes,
Dawn.
micfin, your page is really lovely and the photo and colours are just beautiful. I always click on pics to enlarge them to.. as it gives a better viewing. the forum is a great place to share with each other our ideas and techniques of how we do our projects.
Sue your projects are lovely also, the texture in the background photo of your rose is very effective. thanks for sharing your tips on how you have achieved your result. as I have said this is a great place to learn from each other.

Marlene thanks for the compliment on my mask and card. I enjoy spending some time every now and then making them. You card looks great and the cut out effect after printing to see the masked pic inside adds interest to cards… I also do this from time to time. I am sure your brother-in-law would have enjoyed receiving it.
Sue, your project looks really nice…. you have created lovely masks and papers.
Cristina, your page is lovely. the top mask you have used is nice.. I have done one with a word attached but not for ages. I must try that effect in masks again. the 2 bottom ones are very nice also. Your photos look great in the them. I hope you have success in making them yourself as I am sure once you achieve one or two you will really enjoy the process… however it is also great we can find nice free masks from other talented people to use in our projects….. have you tried Cassel’s MaskMaker Script.? I have used it and have had nice result… however I still enjoy making them from scratch as well.
best wishes to you all,
Dawn.
Hello Cassel and Cristina, “Thank You” to you both for your kind comments on my project.
Dawn.
Hello Cristina, you have created lovely calendar pages and when printed will look great wherever you decide to display it…
Dawn.
Daphne, Cassel and Cristina…… Just want to say Thank You for your comments on my calendar…. I appreciate it very much… I just noticed today that there are 2 pages Feb and Nov that have not got the Sundays in red. I had done a second page for each of those months so to have them all be the same, however, when I have uploaded them I picked the wrong Feb and Nov page to post.. I am going to print my Calendar on my printer with some special photo paper or cardstock and I am also going to make a little booklet calendar for the handbag by reducing the size of the pages…..
Dawn.
Cassel, “Thank You” for the inspiration for my created mask that I have made for this challenge. I enjoyed the Brush Variance Master Classes and when you showed this brush effect with the dot brush you used… well I simply loved the effect. So as I enjoy making masks from scratch.. . I set to work … created a dot brush and made the mask below. the image I have used to illustrate it, may not be the best , however, I thought it looked not to bad to show for this challenge. I made up a page to show the mask and 2 effects I did with it. the bottom image is one layer and the top I duplicated the layer- merged down and then added a very, very small amount of bevel. Then I also made up a little card to show how it can look on a project.
Best wishes,
Dawn.
Here is the last pages for my calendar. The December image was created with a purchased PSD file from Joanne’sDigitalDesign. Cassel “Thank You” very much for this Challenge and all the Templates. The templates and the masks will be used many times for more calendars and other projects. I have enjoyed doing this very much.
May – June -July- August
Hello Everyone!…. I have finished my calendar and here is the first 5 pages… I have used some of my hand painted bird and pansy images as well as other free images for this project. I also created a day of week png image so I could add it to all the pages.
