Since this month, we have an ACCIDENT theme for the blog, what will you show us? Do you have pictures or stories of bruises, cuts or other? Kids and grownups can fall victim of those. Sometimes, the stories CAN be funny, especially later on. Show us what you have!

      Are you up to it?

I thought about the various accidents I could use for this Challenge, not that there have been a lot thank goodness, then decided to pick a lighter example.

I made the cakes myself from a clip art – not sure if the flying one worked very well but I think you get the idea. The mud was done with free blood splatter brushes (there nearly was blood spattering too!). The font is Litoland and Litoland Title from typesgal.

Marlene, I can only imagine how you felt in that second seeing your cake flying after all the work you had. :-O… Luckily everything ended well 😀 Great story and page!

I cannot think of anything for this challenge for the moment…  Right now I am working on a page using the tutorials from the Lab7-Module 11, and the calendar page for November. This is the one that is missing to complete 2018 Calendar.

Marlene, this is brill, love it and not only did it make me laugh but reminded me of an incident many years ago when I had been given a tray full of eggs to take home. I dutifully carried them carefully down the stairs from my sisters flat, walked up the path and then tripped over the step at the end of the pathway. I only broke 6 eggs out of 24 so not too bad.

Hi Marlene,  you do a terrific job of writing stories about your experiences… I always enjoy reading them…. I loved this story about the cake… …. your page is a great example for this challenge.

              best wishes,

              Dawn.

Thank you ladies for your kind words, glad you liked the story, it has always been one of those memories that I chuckle about when I think of them. Fortunately I forgave Russell for kicking the door open although I did say a few “unkind” things at the time!

This page shows that you don’t need photos to make a good memory, nor do you need a lot of elements or ribbons etc. I do tend to do a lot of journaling (Russell would say it’s because I like to talk a lot!) but I think that sometimes it makes the page more interesting.
