Michele your Pink Performance pages are lovely! the particleshop plugin does create some nice effects. I also use it .
Cristina your Frames and the photos you chose to put in them are beautiful ! well done… I will have to look at the class and give it a go in the near future.
Sue your frame looks great!
I haven’t been posting lately as my Mother (98 years old) passed away on the 11th January and my brain is working a little slow at the moment. I popped into the forum this morning (my time) and it has been a joy to see all of your lovely projects. I am going to try and do something creative today as I know Mum would want me to continue in the things that bring me joy.. whether it be a post for here or just do some colouring on cards.
best wishes to everyone,
Dawn.

hello Michele, your frame is lovely! well done! and I guess you will be making more….. I look forward to viewing the Framing 101 master class when Cassel makes it available…. frames are always handy to have in our collection especially when we have made them ourselves.

hello micfin, your gold and silver glamour page looks great ! ….. well done!
Michele, thank you for your comment on my cards… I appreciate it very much….. in answer to your question all the projects I do are for personal use. I enjoy doing cards whether they are printed or sent as a greeting via email or done the traditional way by hand. it is a hobby I enjoy doing and especially giving them away as gifts. …… best wishes to you,
Dawn.
Hello Sue and Cristina ! …….. Thank You both for taking the time to comment on my cards …. I appreciate it very much….
best wishes to you both,
Dawn.
Cristina, that looks delicious and I am sure you must have enjoyed eating it….. hope circumstances have improved for you Cristina and it is nice to see you back posting…….. a terrific page! best wishes to you,
Dawn.
The flower on this card was created using Cassel’s Petal Tube. on the open flower I chose a petal tube with no shadow and did one petal, duplicated , positioned and rotated around to get one layer. then duplicated that layer twice, resized, positioned so the petals looked ok to form a flower…. the 2 smaller flowers I still used the one petal and played with the perspective tools to get the effect you see… once the flower was done I changed the colour…. the green sepals on the bud were done with the petal shape also and with the perspective tool to shape …. the stamens were create a while back from and old line art drawing I have…. the green leaves are a free brush that I coloured and textured up…. there is room for improvement in my flower but I thought I would show it anyway because it might give someone else an idea of what can be achieved using Cassel’s petal tube. ……. I also used Cassel’s Waving script and Circle Doodle script (to create the spirograph) to make the light coloured paper….. the thin ribbon created using Cassel’s bow 3 script.

Cristina, Thank you for your comments on my card….. about the corner punch, this particular corner punch is in another software that I have called craft artist 2. I wanted to use it on this card so I made a plain coloured paper in that program to use the corner punch and then saved it as a jpg and then opened it in psp where I did everything else. I do a lot of colouring on cards as well in my hobbies these days as I enjoy it and the finished cards I give to family and friends.
Sheila, Thank you also for leaving me a comment. … parchment craftwork is beautiful I have never done that.. but I also have polychromas in my collection of pencils, they are great to use.

Here is another card I have made to send in an email. The rose is a digital stamp from a collection I purchased but is no longer available. I printed it out coloured it up with prisma coloured pencils and then scanned it back into the computer. used a leaf brush for some soft effects and also the rose to add some extra roses and softly blended them into the background. The texture paper I used in the paper is a free one from the coffee shop blog called artesenal textures 2. the filigrane heart created using Cassel’s Filigrane script. the sentiment I made up and the font is Prida02Calt.
best wishes to everyone,
Dawn
Cristina Thank you for leaving me a comment on my card. I also appreciate it. The Campus Forum is a great place to encourage one another. Do hope you are well and I understand what it is like to have the stress of health issues whether it is ourselves or our loved ones. It can be very difficult to concentrate on things in those times. When you are ready and able we look forward to seeing more of your creations. All the best to you and yours.

micfin, Thanks so much for your kind comments on my card and your new year greeting!… I love to do vintage style whether digital or real hands on… I forgot to say that Rita’s coffee shop blog is mainly for photoshop but there are some lovely free papers and textures and psd files for story boards that we can use in psp… look under goodies for all the freebies. and yes I have been able to get some nice free images from the graphic fairy also.
I need to make a correction to the textured paper I used in my card above.. I use the spring painterly textured paper so often that I typed it instead of the one I did use on the card which was from coffeshop artisanal textures 2.
best wishes to everyone for a very Happy New Year.
Dawn.
micfin, your page is lovely. the effect you have created is great. it is also great that we can learn from each other as we share our ideas in the forum. I find it a joy to view everyone’s creations.
I have been making up some card greetings to send via email and here is one I have done. I have again used the free image of the woman I got from the old design shop. I made the misted rose tube from an old rose picture in my collection. If you are looking for free papers to use try the coffee shop blog where Rita has a lot of freebies to use. I have used one of her spring painterly textures in my background. The clock tube is from a free PSP tutorial I found called Graceful Dancer by Tish at PSPMadeEZ… I also used Cassel’s Lace tube and a purchased digital stamp sentiment from Beccy’s Place here in Australia.

micfin your page is lovely and it is really nice to see many different ideas for Christmas greetings.
today I have been trying to get my brain going again and have come up with this page for Christmas.. also I would like to share a site that I came across by accident some weeks ago…. the site is ..opening-P.Ann’s Place… and the lady’s name is Pat. she has some lovely poser items amongst other things that she gives free. the poser image of the girl and tree are just a couple I found after looking through her collections. I thought I would mention her site as sometimes we all look for something different and free to use. the font is Kleymisky and I have used psp tubes for the presents. I also used a star embossed overlay from a purchased collection on the background paper.
best wishes everyone,
Dawn.

Hello Everyone….. just wanted to say to you all, that all of your card projects are really lovely….. Dawn.
this photo we took ourselves quite a few years ago near where we live…. it’s not the greatest photo but I thought it would work ok for this technique… my photo was a bit dark so I also did a one step photo fix which brightened it up a bit. I have included a before photo and the rain one which I added some extra clouds to… it was a cloudy day and some showers along with a bit of wind and then the sun come out again.

Hello Everyone! I have registered for this card challenge…… a great idea Cassel!
Dawn.
I have been playing with flower making to have my own created elements for my projects. I have used Cassel’s Petal and Lace edge fonts . also Cassel’s freebie for eyelet 4 as a matt and Cass chain bead tube for the pearl. I couldn’t resist turning one flower into a card front. what I did would take up to much space here if I tried to write it all out but I did use Filter’s Unlimited 2 plugin filter on Pattern Generator – magic flower to get the radiating background for the flower to sit on. I also made use of the filter for the smaller flower. on the rosette style flower I used TwoMoon filter Roto blades on the circle shape I made with the edge font. the main reason for showing my project was to show what I did for the stamens for the flower… I have an old drawing of a flower and I extracted the stamen centre.. got rid of the white background and tidied it up a bit more.. changed the colour and painted on some yellow dots for the top of the stamen. this idea may not be new but it was for me. and I saved it as a png to use over and over. I named the flower patience because it took a while to do…. Cassel’s lace and petal fonts are great to use. there are so many different shape flowers one can come up with. and the edge fonts, well.. I just love them.
Dawn.
Hi Sue, your projects are beautiful ! a great idea to have the envelope with the card… some time ago I was thinking to do something similar by making and envelope and card for an email greeting….. you have inspired me to give it a go. I also do a lot of card making with PSP for printing out and using special photo paper they come up quite nice. I will say it again you are very talented… well done!
best wishes,
Dawn.
