      Here is the next Word challenge for you.

      In September the word will be NEW. Of course, it could be something related to the New Year, but it can also be something new like shoes, it could be a new house, but it can also be about people (new in-laws, new friends), new places to visit or new experiences.

      Are you up to the challenge? Post your projects in this thread (it can be older projects you did or recent ones; it does not matter) or, if you want, our PSP Scrapbook Showcase pinboard on Pinterest is always there to showcase what is being shared in the Campus (if you need an invite, let me know)

        This December Word Challenge page was looking awfully lonely so I thought I would post something on it. Being from New York, I thought of Central Park in the winter. New Year ~ New Snow ~ New York

        I cropped a lovely photo taken by David Stevens and added the falling snow using Cassel’s How to Add Rain tutorial, but I adjusted the settings to be more snow-like. The window frame is a piece of clip art I’ve had for a long time…origins unknown. I’ve added many frames to PSP; makes it easier to get the right proportions. The background is one of Marisa Levin’s Winter Day papers from PixelScrapper. I used the same pattern to fill the outer border and applied the Inner Bevel Effect to make a frame. The snowflakes are from a collection by antuanetto on Creative Market. I recolored them with Marisa’s pattern, too, using the Color Replacer Tool and added a drop shadow to give them some depth. The font is Heavenfield, one of my favorites from FontBundles.

        I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season.

            I tried to post this yesterday, but I still can’t see it. I’ll try again.

              micfin, your image is amazing! The window frame is great and fits perfectly with the photo… The font is really nice, and I love your idea of adding snow using Cassel’s “How to Add Rain Tutorial“. I watched it yesterday and it is great… I will try to do something.

              I wish you, micfin, Cassel, and everyone here Happy Holidays!

                  Word Challenge “NEW”;

                  I thought in New Year, creating a License plate running one of my favorites scripts from Cassel.

                  Happy Holydays to everyone!!!!!
