    Texttool issue

Thanks Sue, I did already the same things that you did. I can confirm, It took me much time trying to get rid of this effect, so many clicks, closing the file, closing PSP, shutting down the whole system. But as I said before, it appeared last month for the first time and I didn't use this part of the textool at this time, so no accidental click. As Carole mentioned that a script could be also a result of this and as I installed some last month.... so just gained another experience. Thanks Suzy, if you repeat often the same text, that's surely fine for you and yes of course after all it's easy to delete and write something different, choose another font and so on...My irritation was simply I didn't know what happened and tried to find it out. Thanks @ all together taking time for your help and comments ?!

    Texttool issue

Thanks again, Carole, of course I thought about it and could have made a click unconsciously, but used this part of the textool the first time for months working on your "punched" handout monday, where I had to choose "create as a selection". But the issue persisted more than 3 weeks. I will look at the last scripts I installed. Right now I just remember Vector Tube and Auto Tuber but may be Corel scripts too the last month, otherwise only cass-scripts.

    Texttool issue

Thanks Carole and Sue, I know this hidden part of the text toolbar, I never selected "remember text", I do not need this, I rarely use this part of the toolbar and when, it is to change "mitter limit" or "kerning". I made several tests and I noticed this function doesn't react as it should and stays often activated, even if I unklick. Testing it in PSP 2019 I do not have this issue.
  4. During the last weeks I discovered that my PSP (2021 Ultimate) every time remembers the same word I wrote in a last layout. For example yesterday I exercised Carole's "Punched detailed" handout. As soon as I wanted to write the text, the last written appeared again, even if I didn't save it before. Later on I made another try, (closed PSP completeley before), PSP showed first the last word and afterwards the cutout effect! just by a simple click out of the word. Don't know how to get rid of this ?!
  5. Thank you Sue, but it was a first and "quick" try. I intend to do it again. I tried to make the photo smaller, I didn't like it, but didn't enlarge the mask, that will probably be my next step. I thought too at the beginning that it was a flee, but a friend of mine told me the contrary, sent me photos from a german website, obviously an error in the classification on the site.
  6. Yes, I know it, but I changed this only because of the bee. I had the problem to show the insect at its whole. After the first try the head was somehow cut and I didn't want to reduce it more.
  7. Hi Carole, I read about your "glue" problem in the tuesday Campus update: "while writing this newsletter, the battery/switch box fell off the "ceiling". I guess the hot glue was not sufficient. I'll have to find another way to hold that box" Do you know the magic nano tape? Perhaps it could be another solution. I discovered it last year and used it for different purposes.
  8. @Bonnie and Sue, really fantastic works! Last week I thought of you both. I watched a short report at TV about Pickleball growing more and more in Germany and a bit history of it. I was a bit surprised because I never heard before about this german trend. Thursday, (holiday because of Ascension), there were documentaries (landscape and wildlife) about Ireland, Scotland and England. A special about Wales, that was so beautiful....I was virtually travelling .
  9. Hi Carole, I found this on several sites, I hope you can see the german and the pinterest links. https://www.pinterest.de/pin/492649951361596/visual-search/?x=10&y=10&w=544&h=544&imageSignature=0dd9a41388a875a39eaab06bc99aeabb https://miniaturerustictwigfurniture.blogspot.com/2011/04/see-them-now-at-wise-women-gallery-and.html?m=1 https://www.pinterest.at/barbaramartsch/baumstamm-garten/ https://www.thesprucecrafts.com/how-to-make-fairy-houses-1244393
  10. Unfortunately I do no more have examples of crafts I did for my parents decades before... But I add a few pictures of ones children do often during the advent season but not only in an educational institution (House of the Family) where I work. There are many activities and craft workshops/courses for young children too and it's a joy to see their sparkling eyes.
  11. Yes, Cristina, I was totally shocked and I'm really still sad, also because we do not know what happened to her.... Yes, Mary, we remember her with "great fondness", that's absolutely true and she would be very happy about it if she knew.

    Hi

    You are welcome, Isabel!
  13. Welcome back from me too, Jannette !
  14. Hi @ all and thumbs up for all your creative layouts!!!! I come around here because I have especially today Annie Tobin - missed and well loved - in my thoughts! May 16th of the last year Carole announced with gread sadness that "Annie passed away probably in May" Cristina shared her last words in January for many of us who wished speedy recovery after her eye surgery "...you are amazing troopers and I accept your well wishes in good grace. It sure has been a trial and all I can do is wait … obviously I need to have lessons in patience which has never been one of my virtues, lol!" I had so many ideas to create a layout and finally I add this one even if it is not my best result. Annie used to say "Thanks for takin a peek my friends. ;D".....
  15. @Michele You are the absolute "Fabulous Divas" expert!!! It's a real pleasure again and again to see all the creativity using the great choice of scripts and other elements we can find on Carole's Creation page. Thumbs up for all of you!! By the way, thanks Sheila for mentionning the squiggles script, another cool script. I wondered too because I didn't discover it till now.
  16. I'm in mood this afternoon to play with PSP instead of working ! Another script I used, the cass-FramedMask. I changed the size of the frames (because of the bee) and it's not quite exactly what it should be but let's say it's a test... The font is "Vervelle" I found on Creative Fabrica.
  17. Marie-Claire, Michele and Corrie, so different and so nice layouts! I love the Flora font and tried to do something too, I assembled some pictures of mine and used the "cass-WordFrame5" script.
  18. On this day I send you a big smile andI wish you the best that life has to offer! Joyeux Anniversaire !!!!
  19. I looked over some tutorials inside the Diamond section, "Meli-Melo Paper" caught my attention and after the video I wanted to try it. It's really easy. I played a lot with the blend mode and opacity, results so cool!! I just used one picture to do my selections. Here the link for those who would be interested: https://scrapbookcampus.com/element-creation-index/meli-melo-paper/
  20. Hi, everybody! it's a long time, round about 4 months, since I have been active here in the campus. I try again and hope to be able to come along more often. I remember "wise words" in 2020, I just started and had to stop it. And as Cristina said it, a good opportunity to go through it again, hopefully this time....
  21. No, I'm not getting spam at all. I wonder what do these messages look like? May be the users who do this do not really realize that they do it or?
  22. Bonn, Germany :) The city should have had a fantastic year, it's the 250-th anniversary of Beethoven, so many concerts, festivals, exhibitions were organised but covid made erverything impossible ....
  23. I heard her name but didn't know her because I haven't been around long enough. Life makes you always pensive when a dear person is suddenly no longer there and it is always a stab into heart for those you knew and loved her. It is important that she lives on in the thoughts of everyone who knew her and I think that's what she's gonna do here. So warm regards particularly to the family and of course to her friends as well!
  24. Fantastic Dale and your color choice is very harmonious, it has a real natural effect! The "slats script" will be one of my next projects. Go on and have fun!
