  1. Was a bit MIA, but wow Carole, what a wonderful book! It is subtle, the pictures are wonderful as they are and the text is lovely. This is not only a great gift, but also for Xavier, when he gets older, a wonderful reminder of his dad ๐Ÿ™‚

I made at last a first start for the dutch month of March. In this case the echo-script did not do what I wanted, but in a few days I give it antoher go.

I am a bit ill. A very bad cold. Bad for me because I have to breath through a hole in my neck, after laryngectomie.

It's going better already, but it makes me very tired some days.

Easy does it, take care, hope you will be well soon ๐Ÿ™‚

Your printer doesn't print to the edges,ย  mine doesn't, I use a guillotine to trim the edges.ย  You can get printers that do.ย  When you use an outside sourceย  for printing, they too trim the edges.ย ย

I was wondering maybe you could print with a minimum or noneย  white edges. Trimmed the white edges in previous years.

I want to make it a book about SCRAPBOOKING first and not a manual for PaintShop Pro, so I am thinking of using more a scrapbooking angle than listing all the tools in PSP. However, I can definitely see a section about the Text tool, since it can be used for titles and journaling, which are often integral parts of many pages.

But if you don't know how the tools work.........you can't do much scrapbooking at all?

I never had.ย  I have always wanted a color printer, but the ones i want are too expensive for a hobby.ย  If I was making money, that would be a different story.ย  I too would like to find a good outsourced printer.ย  I used to be a photofinisher so I am picky and have had to compromise over the years in what the local photo place prints.ย  I get a test print done and have had to actually tell they what to do, eg. -/+ density, take out Cyan, add Magenta, etc.ย  Now I just think; can I live with this, it's just a Christmas card people will eventually throw away.ย ย

I really want to get some layouts printed (outsourced), just to see what they are like. And go from there.ย  I'd like somewhere good though.ย  I should bite the bullet and test some out.ย  I'll have to put a little money out for testing.ย  However, I just looked up a local printing place I go for Calendars, they are insanely expensive, even for tiny 6x8 ones.ย  I think it actually would be cheaper to buy a printer (even the expensive one) and print my own.ย

I will wait for the big reveal after Christmas, when you have given the gift and can freely paste on FB like you do every month.ย  I look forward that!ย

I have a Canon printer for years now, when one broke down(?), we bought a Canon again. I'm very satisfied with it. I print the calenders on not shiny (Matte?) photopaper and it really looks good. I don't know if in other countries you send "birthcards' whenย  baby is born, but I had the honor to design one for my granddaughter and it was like it came from a professional printshop. It depends also on the paper you use ๐Ÿ™‚

You're right. I had to stop then. I used the complete script/ Bit in doubt about removing text inside. The light blue bit but also some dark pieces.ย  And I replaced the lady a bit.

Saw anothe rmistake Januari I used more capitals in text. And removed it above the days.ย

And remove the script part and add a shadow to the template itself? (So only the lady, she is colourful enough herself ๐Ÿ™‚ )

The first Februari attempt.ย  Carnival month starts on the 19th, is my wife's birthday too.

The top half is (in my humble opinion) very busy, because of the script/freebie from the store. Maybe if you erase a bit of the (light-)blue on the lady, it might become a bit less busy? Hope you don't mind me saying this ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  11. I'v got the updated version now, but still have trouble with the numbers being too large........I think it's the updated version because now the initials of the week are already there when you're at that step, didn't have that before.

(I don't know if I will be online tonight, si if I don't react, it's because of that )
