Although let's be honest, the Easter Hunt (just like the Treasure Hunt) is a promotional activity (hoping to attract new people to the site), it is also meant as a way for people to find useful information at the same time. With so many blog posts (633), it is easy to miss some, forget a few, or even not know about others.
I am happy that it makes anyone discover something useful!!
Happy Easter!
633! That much! Wow!๐

Like Chris we had a little bit of snow which had already almost melted when I went outside. I was just in time to make a photo with some snow on my little container with bulbs and I used that in the P52 challenge. Instead snow we had rain, rain and much more rain for the best part of December, Januari, February. It was quite depressing all those dark, gray days which at the same time had mild temperatures up to 5 or 6 degrees Celsius above average. Luckily March brought better weather with some sunshine and not so wet anymore but it still is changeable weather and Easter will bring more of the same. Due to the wet but mild weather spring is early with a lot of different trees and bulbs in flower. Over many shrubs and trees you can see a green haze coming and leaves appearing, butย hay fever season is starting as well.ย
Snow? e didn't have any, we had some hail . I'm so fed up with the rain, I wanna go outside in the sun!

Thank you for this course, Carole, I have enjoyed it very much.
I've been using PSP for many years, although started with Photoshop back in my work days, and I have still learned things I probably should have known, and didn't.ย
The drop shadows have always been hit or miss with me, and now I have the explanations, it helps to know what to do there.
I also found a few great tips and have typed them all up in Word for future use, and I find it is better to remember that way, especially that ctrl l for copying to a new layer,
I've always gone the long way to get that result.
I'd love to do the BootCamp again, and I will keep looking at any others you have created.
Jeni
You might like Carole's book too, also with helpful suggestions and shortcuts ๐

@MoniqueN.Those three photos are a great way to display a single photo. I might use that approach at some point because it really focus on the detail you want to showcase. Wow! windmill without the wings looks so "naked"! I see some missing shadows. Maybe they are just hidden? One on the blue strip and the top photo.
ย
I've changed the shadows ๐

I have done the bootcamp a couple of times, it is always a good review and reminder. There are techniques I learn and then forget about. Like the pinked paper edge! You could eaily change it to a scallop, and adapt it to your project. Also using a paper to fill the text. I should practice that again. Thanks for the review!
Yes, I also like the reminder ๐

Day 11
I used elements, papers etc. from my stash and from Creative fabcrica. Writing font is Brighton, but I didn't remember the one at the bottom.
The N in Netherlands I made with a copy of the original N, copied it 3 times on another file. Gave it the the Dutchย colors, moved them up (overlapping) and then merged down.
It was fun to do this bootcamp again ๐ย Wish I could of been more active in this thread, but was very busy this week ๐

Day 9
This was fun again ๐
One day we came across the same mill and the "wings" were gone. It took some while to repair (high costs) but now it is again in it's full glory ๐
I used some elements found on Creative Fabrica, all Dutch things this country is famous for. The waffle is a "stroopwafel" as we call it.
Papers where all in my stash. Font is Holland ๐ย and Hot mustard (The thick one)
I totally forgot how we learned in previous bootcamps to add an edge around a photo with the magic wand, I tend to use mats ๐ Was a good reminder ๐

Project #4
This time it is all about The Wall and Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin during the Cold War. When we visited there it was a rather gray day, fitting for the feel of the place, it was a bit gloomy!ย ย All the papers are from Marissa Lerin gl-20 kit and I didn't use the brighter colors only the more subdued. The tank is a sticker I found on digitalscrapbook.com; the stop sign comes from Travel by DB Magnolia; the fonts are Berlin and Montana rough; the stamp is again made with my own stampscript and I made some paintsplashes .
ย
I just listened to an album of Pink Floyd, now I see "the wall" and started humming "the wall"ย ๐ย :"
"Hey, teacher, leave them kids alone
All in all, it's just another brick in the wall
All in all, you're just another brick in the wall"- 1

My intention was to have the mills from Far away to close by, but the photo I used wasn't good enough for it. So the mills differ in size, but not as intended.
Font is Chartz
Kit I used was an old one from PS-Rachel-Martin , the mill sticker is from an old "Holland" scrapkit, the original was red, I changed it to blue.

@MoniqueN.ย Strangely, the bottom shadow on the photo does not show. Does it show on the full-size page?

ย
Yes, it does, just checked ๐

I'm more outside these days, not much at the computer, but here are some of my projects............Day 1
If I would use them as actual cards, I would use my cutting machine's print& cut function,
Font is Fiolex girls, this font I also used for the birth announcement card for my grandaughter 2 years ago.
