Hi,
I would also like to learn more about the same points as Rene, Corrie and Mary
Photo manipulations and the various tools.
For exemple, I didn't know you could use the brush tool to color in for example, or to use bruches with the eraser tool.
Carole what do you mean by : another way to create scrapbook projects?
-
another one where it might be better to see
-
I went through the last two emails we got about Brighten up those photos and Straighten the horizon.
I think the way with Overlay gives very nice results!
Below I have posted a before and after photo after using the straightening tool to straighten the horizon.

Day 5, photos are a continuation of the previous days

Hi! I'm here too, I just registered yesterday.
The photos I use for these 4 days are of my daughter who traveled alone from our homeland Belgium to the USA in September 2004, where she joined a group of young people who, like her, came from all over the world to tour together.

I used circles instead of rectangles, and rectangles instead of the circles
I placed the border on the left, at the top
I made the background from a photo
the pictures of the mushrooms were taken as always during the daily walk with my dog.

Thank you Sue, nature is so beautiful in autumn.

Yesterday it was beautiful autumn weather and I couldn't resist taking pictures during the walk in the park with our dog Poncho.
I immediately knew I could use this for the scraplift
I used a scrapset that I downloaded from pixel scrapper blog train. the scrap set is designed by Magnolia.

so many layouts! very nice to see, with this, one can gain inspiration. And how beautiful they are all.
Here is my calendar, finished today ?
-
and now I'm starting day 5 and 6 ?

Ann, thanks for the tip about using the PHOTO HERE layer. I had problems with a photo because of the resizing I had white borders, I solved that with the clone tool, if I had read your message first, I would have used your idea ?

I did my homework from day 1 and 2 ☺

I like Rene's idea, so I'm going to try to make an album about the city where I live.
Now I just saw the first page of Ann, that's also a great idea!
Sue I can't wait to see your wall with your works, that is going to be very beautiful!
Mary The album "Alphabet Soup" is also nice, every letter brings a surprise
