Michele: I like the green one! He does look sort of depressed so maybe he's on Sale? Let me know when the price goes under $65! LOL
PS. Are you sure your other Fab Divas won't get cold in those dresses without a coat?? ;-)

I have a question. There is a December project called cass-Word Album but I don't know how to handle it. Here's the preview showing it.

P = Presents, for many holidays. Christmas, Hanukkah, Easter.

I was poking around on the Discovery Center and found instructions for making an Instagram template (they feature a holiday theme) that I decided to try for our drive-in theater business. We're currently closed for the winter, so I wanted to advertise that with something new on Instagram. I had fun using their tutorial to incorporate the new Frame tool and Art Media using the Oil Brush. (It helpfully also tells how to do a mask, but I didn't use that this time; it's geared towards earlier versions of PSP that don't have the Frame tool.) I used two snowflake brushes that I had, adding our logo and award ribbon. The snow was created with the Oil Brush. The colors are the same as our commercial website and the Corel offering is here.
PS-I did find one little glitchy thing. When using the Frame tool, which creates a group, I had to hide the actual frame as it added an unwanted line of multiple colors around each photo.

Michele: Those colors and the layout are outstanding! Did you have to hunt for the photos or did you re-color some? They look like they were all "dipped in the same vat!" ;-)

Wow, where has this thread been hiding? I checked and I'm subscribed but none of these posts made it through on email for me. Susan, those examples are outstanding! We did have the class on blending, but I could use more. Perhaps a week, like the Love Story class, with increasingly complex tasks?

Susan: Nice! It's great to finally know what you actually look like -- since you've never put anything up for your profile pic. ;-)

Here's my entry for the December Random Challenge using the Corel freebie template – My Favorite Gifts. The font was part of the layout, so I don’t know the name. I’m including Carole’s color wheel. The family photo is from the year 2000 showcasing us and our nine grands. I added several overlays to its plain background.

I came up with this for the Complementary Palette Challenge using the Corel freebie template - My Favorite Gifts. The font was part of the layout, so I don't know the name. I'm including Carole's color wheel. The family photo is from the year 2000 showcasing us and our nine grands.

And here's the Elf Avatar of me!

I wanted to thank Trish for these wonderful glitter balls. Here's my design idea.

Trish: I got it after being approved to join that group. I never heard of Maniacs before, and I see Carole is an admin. It looks like fun! Thank you!
-
Anne, where did you get Trish's ornament? I looked in the Files on Facebook but didn't see it.

There's a story behind this page. My granddaughter and her husband with little Logan were waiting online to see Santa for over an hour. Logan, understandably, got restless and by the time they reached Santa, Logan wasn't having any of it!

Susan: I can't see your invisible "kitty!" Did you post something about her?
Never mind, I just got to the Campus Update and now I see what you were talking about. Sorry...
-
I have a robot vacuum cleaner, the Roomba. Unfortunately, I can never convince either of my cats to ride on it! It is my "back saver" as I cannot push around the kind with a handle. I also have the Alexa virtual assistant all through my house which mystifies my cats as I talk to it and it answers me. ;-)

Brian, did you upload an image? If so, I can't see it. I like to follow your work.

I had another go at the paper tree in Lab 12-Mod 12. Here is Two Trees. Details are:

Thank you, Colin! Merry Christmas to you, also!

Oh, the toilet paper debacle hit hard down here! My little girl, Eve, is pictured guarding our horde!
What are you working on (in December 2022)?
