  1. My granddaughter did a "photo shoot" when she was pregnant with Logan back in 2021. I only recently got this striking black and white so had to use it! The title font is Droid from the newest Lab. The background is shiny silver from Sheila. The splatter paint is from my own kit as is the star. I embedded the bear top right and used the sculpture texture effect on the frame.

X-Ray vision -- How else could she know what you were doing outside or in the basement, or---well you get the idea.

I told mine that I could see through walls. They believed me! ?

Wow, Ann, I love the 3 across the middle.  And I did not knowabout the bees.  I've always loved dandelions.  I'm sure my neighbours didnt care for my yard, but they are happy colored flowers to me.  I had company last year when their best blooms were out so I missed out.  I find the first blooms are the biggest and best looking. And the shear numbers are larger in the first bloom of the season compared to later in the summer.

I'll leave a .zip in the Facebook Files section for you.

I'll take them, especially the seed heads.  I want to photograph them in the studio, but by the time I get in the house and upstairs, they are lost their seeds.

Susan, I have dandelion seed-head photos from a layout I did previously. See if you want anything from this...

can't seem to focus on the layouts I need to be doing to finish my attempt at the Double Page Workshop

I'm in the same boat, Mary, though I finally did come up with a "story" for Page 6. Now I have to put it together. Dealing with a sick cat today so I'm off to the vet. ?

Thank you, Cristina. I fight against the lack of creativity all the time. That's one of the reasons I'm making more of an effort. It took me many hours between searching my few original pics and getting inspiration from looking at templates.

I experience the same lack of inspiration and I find going back to the Bootcamp to be helpful to me. I can help the newcomers and try to come up with something original for the familiar layouts. Helping others is the key for me.

  7. I always start off with a Wildcat Calendar for the month. Here's May: The Sand Cat, a tiny, tough desert dweller. I also posted this on the Facebook group, Scrapbooking with PaintShop Pro in larger format that will print landscape, 11"x8.5" I have mine on my refrigerator.

  8. I combined Carole's flowery spring frame with the flora font, added my great-grand Magic with a little linoleum as a background and two corner brushes and came up with this. I sort of thought the font would look a little puffy on its own but mine didn't so I helped it along with one of our title lessons from March.

  9. Back in the day when I was learning to make webpages I acquired Note Tab Plus as an alternative to the Windows Notepad. Note Tab numbers the lines so you can find your place in the code. It also has little scripts of its own to automate repetitive tasks which made things easier. I still use Note Tab. It's a Swiss product and I always had the free version. I don't code any more. Left it behind when I transitioned to Dreamweaver for webpages. Honestly don't miss it. Not my favorite thing.

I'm making an effort to participate in more challenges and for a change everything is mine. I used cass's brad factory and filigrane scripts. It's my first 1-2-3 challenge so I hope what I did qualifies. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

    Is this it Ann.

Coatis (from Tupí), also known as coatimundis (/koʊˌɑːtɪˈmʌndi/), are members of the family Procyonidae in the genera Nasua and Nasuella. They are diurnal mammals native to South America, Central America, Mexico, and the southwestern United States.

Yes, it seems the translation for nasenbaer is coati.

I would strongly discourage you from doing that as it will distort when used in various situations:

    • if you have a square frame to start and use it on a rectangular image (or vice versa), the proportions on the edges will be inconsistent
    • if you have a frame of a certain dimension (say 1000x1000px) and use it on something larger (say 3600x3600), it will become blurred

This might need a blog post as you are not the first one thinking that.

PSP had many already installed. How am I supposed to know the size?

  13. Figured it out - decided on folded hearts and a bow. 3 buttons and a frame round out the requirements. Here's my daughter, Laurey, top left; granddaughters, Ilana & Jackie, bottom right. All the decor is from my stash; frame from PSP frame.

Edit: I forgot to mention the background is a PSP gradient called Nature Glow and I added some noise for texture.

Let's make things a little fun for you. Are you looking for ways to spark your creativity and still create something meaningful? This will be a new monthly challenge for you. Every month, you will be given instructions to use 1, 2, and 3 of something. Would that be more than you usually use? or less? Let's see. Create a layout using :

    • 1 frame
    • 2 folded elements
    • 3 buttons

You can create those elements or use what you currently have in your stash. Showcase any photo, use any template (if you want). Just make sure you include the required elements.

I'm not sure what a "folded element" would be...
