  1. That is so cool about the tree, I can totally see it. I just love this picture. What an amazing shot(s) and an amazing bird.
  2. me too, cant wait to try it. did you see some of those brushes, they look so cool.
  3. BTW, I like "bug-a-boo." It's my word of the day and I will try to use it in a sentence 7 times before the day is done. Only 6 more times to go!
  4. I think it's because when you use someone's (spell check added the apostrophe) name you use the apostrophe, like Susan's hat. I don't actually have a hat, but if I did I'd have an apostrophe! 🤪
  5. I had to look this up, it's (it has) being a long time since I knew the difference. I've been using it wrong for many years I think.
  6. I found them thanks to your directions. Thanks for the info about the GPU. I believe mine has only 12 GB, have to the ask the hubby when he gets home, he's the techy in the house.
  7. I'm old school too and downloaded PDf for one of them, I'll be looking for the other one too. Hey, did Vision FX show up on your desktop like all the rest? Mine did not. Not even in my start menu, when I looked at the apps and features section where you Uninstall apps/programs and it was there. But I have no idea where it is to open it.
  8. Whew, that is a long install. I took Humble Bundle up on the offer and it went well. The only thing I dont see is the Vision Fx anywhere except when I look in the app and features section where you UNinstall apps and programs. Does anyone know what Vision Fx even is? All the rest that I ran the installers/.exe for showed up on my desk top and in the start menu. the only thing under V is Vector FX, I cant see VisionFX anywhere...hahaha, considering it's name that's kind of funny. Like Carole mentioned in the masterclass today, I did not download PSP2023 and I have yet to do the brushes as it's getting rather late.
  9. I wish! (eyes closed). Thank you. It just occurred to me to log into Corel to see my payment history. Which actually was quite a feat as Corel.com and the discovery centre had different passwords. yeesh. Thanks for looking for me. I spent my whole 50th year thinking I was 49 and when I told my best friend we will be turning 50 this year, she said, you are already 50. so I totally missed my 50th year. It doesnt surprise me that I got the year out whack.
  10. Weird very off topic question, sorry. do you know which bootcamp was my first, I kept thinking it was 2020, but I now think it might be 2021 when i started. I was looking in forums for bootcamps but cant find where they are to see the dates of the ones I did.
  11. yes, of course. I should have remembered that. I do get the emails. I'm thinking I would only use Corel Draw for making rasters into vectors and finally seeing what the EPS files are.
  12. Once is all it takes! My husband cant remember what I said to him the day before, but he can remember stuff like melting a colander like it just happened.
  13. I did, it was money, so I went home with it till the next weekend when the party actually was.
  14. I'm sorry I hit the laugh button, but I did laugh at the picture in my minds eye. My mom forgot her eggs boiling on the stove once. they blew up and she had to scrape them off the ceiling.
  15. I did this with popcorn and my husband grabbed it ran through the living room and out the patio door. It smelled so bad. I've also melted a plastic colander in a pot. I thought I turned the stove off, but I had already turned it off. so I ended up turning it on high. I had a kitchen that had a glass sliding door you could close to separate it from the living room. I closed it and then hubby and I are eating our spaghetti and I look and see the sunset light streaming through the door and I tell my husband to look how nice the light look coming through the kitchen windows. He says, that's SMOKE! I jumped up and ran to the kitchen and see a melted colander in a pot on a red hot burner. I do have a picture of that. the joke in our family is my husband wants to have an automatic sensor, if I leave the kitchen the appliances turn off. I am bad for putting stuff on to cook and then taking a "few" minutes to check emails.....well, you can imagine how that turns out. Don't get me started on how many grilled cheese sandwiches have gone into the organics bin!
  16. I did the same thing. Only the party was in a park and there happened to be a party going on so I thought it was the right party. I couldn't understand why I didn't recognize at least some of the people. I slowly made an exit, thankfully no one really noticed if I belonged or not.
  17. thank you so much Monique. I'm glad to see your getting time to get to your calendar. Mine will have to wait a week or so. I love the rich colors you use.
  18. It's funny I didnt recognize the texture at all. I was planning on reshooting the garage doors (that's where the texture is) this year with my better camera. Well, you can see how I got around to that. Now it's cold and frosty so i dont want to be out in that.
  19. Fabulous Corrie. The cover is striking and really sets off the beautiful mushroom. I cant believe how red it is.
  20. Yes, corporate greed is everywhere these days. Mostly with the wedding invites it's the blacks in the text that is important to me. Especially with fonts that have really thin lines. And putting cardstock through my printer, even on the thick cardstock setting, leaves unsightly black streaks. My printer is 17 yrs old and still going, but not up to that kind of work anymore.
  21. I'm going to give this a try when I get some down time. thank you for the good explanation Corrie.
  22. Wow, Ann. In Canada you can pretty much double that. My staples where I live used to be good, now the advice i got when asking if I could use my own paper for the wedding invite printing (and pay as if it's their paper - I did this before for my nieces wedding invites - they were totally cool with it, almost 100% profit for them as I they didnt have to supply the paper but got paid for it!), was to buy my own printer or borrow one from a friend. BIG eye roll. I use staples because they have really black blacks (even though my laser printer has black settings - it just doesnt compare). So I'm quite disappointed, are they not a printing company? Just asking them to do their own job. they have two kinds of white....white and another white that is the same. So nothing slightly warmer, just plain bright white. There is big advantages to living in the US!
  23. I still don't get where we change the calendar templates to 300 dpi. I only know when we open a new image it asks us there, which is set to 300 dpi on mine. Can you show that to me on the next Q&A. Sorry, I'm not being the sharpest knife in the drawer on this.
  24. I just had a lesson learned about pngs. I am doing the wedding suite and i took the files to Staples just for test prints...well, it considered pngs a photo and would not size at 100% or at actual size (same as 100%), wouldnt even give that option. I lost 1/8 of an inch off the size of the cards in the suite. Doesn't sound like much but it really is, in the design of the card. So I had to convert to PDF (I had to ask Corel how to do that, I'm still such a newbie - and they were great and gave me directions. who knew it was so easy - not me). The calendars are like photos so I'm curious to see how they turn out for you Donna. I really want to print stuff and know that there won't be cut off parts, like I get when getting prints at a photo lab.
  25. I'm interested too in what people do.
