  1. I'm a rebel. hahaha. The flower made me do it.
  2. OMG! this is hilarious and I "could care less" or in other words...I do care. and was I not supposed to put that in parenthesis? hahahaha,
  3. I totally get that and what a cool surprise for you when you download. I'm in awe of you and anyone who photographs anything that moves. I have terrible timing. So I really appreciate being able to see those who have good timing.
  4. Could you make it so you only merged "visible" groups. so that if you don't want one group merged, you could hide it, merge the other groups, then unhide it. At this time I don't think I'd be merging lots of groups. I will often use groups of the layers that are used to make something (element, background paper. etc), then I'd duplicate it, hide the original, and then merge the group. That way if I need to go back and change the background I'd still have the layers intact to make changes to. If you know you will never need to make changes, merging all the groups would be a time saver for sure.
  5. December At least I got green in the right month. And the word "gift" in the quote. All done. Love this workshop and trying something different each year. thank you Carole.
  6. November I think this is the darkest one and will look really dark as a jpg.
  7. October I posted this one before, the only change was the color of the weekend days
  8. September This is a gradient, can you believe it? It actually looks like a light shining down on a wall. I did use a blend mode of various versions of this gradient, which I'm sure I had to stretch and pull and contort in some way.
  9. August This one I used gradients and blend modes and also a mask that I used various brushes to alter the mask. disclosure: I really didnt know what I was doing, but went with it anyway. It really doesnt fit the theme of the rest as it's quite grungy, but I kept it anyway.
  10. Home from work now, continuing on July
  11. I can't imagine making calendars in 3 languages, it's hard enough to do one language. Thank you for your kind words. I kept to using gradients and that was a challenge, but you learn how to manipulate them to try and make something different for each month. The texture made it look better too.
  12. June One for the light lovers!
  13. May hahahah, the dark days of May...said no one EVER! Oh, and making it a jpg doesn't help, they aren't as dark in pspimage format (or tif)
  14. April See how dark I went, I think there is even a darker one coming. I don't think this would print well, it would get darker and I wouldn't like that.
  15. February You might see alot of Magenta (pink) since a lot of the flowers were that color and it seemed to look best that way (to me).
  16. Now that the Calendar WS is over I'll post here I'm starting with the last layout which is actually the first layout of the Calendar. I ended up going quite dark, not like I had started out doing. Kept black for the text/mask and numbers (except the weekends and stat holidays for my province). The font is Daisy and Violette from CF. All the backgrounds are from gradients I have in PSP. Often they are altered (pulled, twisted, stretched, squished, angled, blurred and even stomped on - okay, maybe not stomped on, but if I could have, I would have), blended and I even tried using some masks on them. Oh, and they have a PSP texture added.
  17. I love this layout style. You chose the background and elements perfectly. Great photo, must've been awesome for the that photographer in person.
  18. WOW! Donna! This is breathtaking. to get the opacity, did you lower the opacity of the layers before merging (visible). Super super work!
  19. ...and did the measurement go up to the withers only? I remember measuring horses (warmbloods) for some kind of registry.
  20. We could be soul sisters. I was horse crazy too. Only I didn't get the horse. But later as an adult I worked/lived on various breeding farms (thoroughbred farm with 10 stallions and a Quarter horse farm) and hunter/jumper farms. Did you collect Breyer horses and Mark's Best of the West horses and gear? Some had moveable legs and necks and came with lots of gear, like saddles and bridles...it was as close as I got to owning a horse.
  21. It's actually a plug in Julie, so it inserted itself into my current PSP 2023. I do have the search bar and use it, but totally forgot to use it that night...it was late and I was running on about 4-5 hours of sleep.
  22. This is very cool. I have had no time to even look at what I downloaded/installed. But this is super awesome! Hope I can figure it out like you did.
  23. I should say, I didnt use the "thumbs up" because of the sad and lonely vibes, but for you using it some day on a layout.
