The template of this 2021 Year in Review layout was a cass-freebie from 2022 Jan... I decided to do a double page, but I will still choose the last three spots on the right side... It takes longer to decide on which photos I want to use than anything else... The square was not big, and I still managed to fit 4 photos inside! ... I am late, but I don't give up. lol

Wow, Rene, this was really a challenge, and what an accomplishment to create all those layouts.

I'll try it again, as my first post disappeared. Mary, I love how you use the Cross Pattern in the layout... Sometimes, I find it difficult to use "busy" papers, but in this case, it's subtle but still very recognizable. For the Build A Kit Workshop- Pattern Papers, I intend to create more papers like this following Carole's tutorials... You gave me a great idea.

It just happened to me right now. I quoted Mary's comment, commented on how I liked the layout and pressed ENTER, and it disappeared. 😞

Michele, this is sooo cute! I agree with Susan; I don't relate blue to sadness in winter...This gnome is having lots of fun making angels in the snow. 🙂 Let's say the 'Fabulous Divas' were on a well-deserved winter break. 😄

Only today, after seeing the layout here again, did I notice something that probably had Carole cringe: The shadows I added to the Post-It note, etc. 😬 The shadows that came with the template are opposite the usual left side. I’ll correct it. 😄

Here is a layout I started in 2021 for the Color Challenge, and although I posted it as finished back then, I left it in the unfinished folder for later tweaks. The color that was supposed to be part of the layout was already in the photos, so I changed the background paper to a solid gray color and added an overlay. I started with Lynn Grieveson's (The Lilypad) Template - #lgrieveson_messy_captured_4. I created the Wordart for the first version, and for this reviewed version, I added some elements following Carole's tutorials: Post-It Note, Straight Pin, Pinned Paper The lifted photo effect was created using cass-LiftedPhoto Script.

Ann, Bonnie, Michele, and Corrie, those are beautiful layouts. I love everything about them. Donna, those mask shapes are very creative... they'll look interesting and unique in a layout. I downloaded the 2023 Year in Review after seeing it here! I am so behind that I have only recently continued working on my 2021 Year in Review!
