Susan, I go through the same "yuk" moments. After I finish one layout, it takes time to start a new one. The photo is the starting point; it has to connect with me and spark creativity. Sometimes, it is right there, but other times, there's a blank, and it takes me a long time to decide on something,.. Which usually ends up being totally different from when I began. π

Sue, beautiful as always! I love the photo; it looks like he is posing for you. π
-
Rene, I agree with you. My first double pages were for the Workshop Travel Tale in 2017, which later changed its name to Double Take. Back then, I already chose a template that would not have a photo across two pages.
-
Wow, Julie, what an achievement for all of you who were part of this project. Seeing how this lady was partying made everything even more worthwhile. As I imagine it was a big project, you will probably need many double pages to tell the whole story, which will be cherished by everyone who was not there. You will have no problems with it; your layouts are beautiful.

Julie, thank you so much. Your words of encouragement mean a lot. π

I am also in, and I just registered. What a great idea to have a workshop for shadows! As we are traveling on the 22nd of August, I won't be able to finish it with everybody else, which would be much more fun in my opinion. π ---------------------------------------------- Edit: JSYK... I still haven't received the confirmation email. Maybe it will come shortly.

I've finished another layout. Thank goodness it didn't take that long like the previous one... Some pages come easily, others not so much. Credits: Caroleβs Adhesive Tape script Background papers: marisa-lerin_1456_distressed-6-tan & Talie_DiCtonS_pp01 (I played with the Blend Mode) Lilypad-lgrieveson_worn edges 2 page 1 Lilypad- rjefferies_Eucalyptus Impasto Palvinka_SpecialHug_photomasks_1 Lilypad-mommyish_AAM_stickers Fonts: Handlee & Farofa

Sue, some templates I can replicate, but others can be tricky.π Sometimes, I prefer to work with templates; other times, I am up to create my own... Not to mention scraplifting. π It's like using scripts: I love to know how to do it myself, but sometimes, I want the comfort and speed that a script gives. Not to mention, I could never create such beautiful bows as Carole does!

Beautiful layout, Bonnie! Love everything about it.
-
Mary, I love the results of the stencil technique, which you've used in so many different waysβall very creative.
-
Donna, you are not alone! π I love the font, and you've created a beautiful, beautiful Alpha!
-
When I started here, one of the things I wanted to create was Masks. I had downloaded a few free masks, but I wanted to know how to make my own. Sue was already creating lovely layouts (I think we joined the Campus in the same year - 2016). When I commented about the masks, she answered that they were not difficult to createβand she was right. π I've learned so much from Carole and other members over the years, and now, looking at some layouts, I think, "I can replicate this".
-
Bonnie, you are creating beautiful memories for yourself and everybody who plays with you. I am sure you have plenty of layouts for a photo book, or maybe more than one π. It's so nice to go through the old layouts from when I started here at the Campus. We all are creating Memories with Carole's help!

Wow, Donna, very nice Alpha! The font is very interesting and yields a wonderful result.
-
Julie, I agree with everyone else's comments. This is gorgeous! I could mention the brushwork, the colors, and so on... But I'd have to list everything. You were really inspired! Quoting Susan, I love your style too.

Mary, if anyone is going to catch up with the Lab tutorials, it will be you! Whenever you post the lab's layouts, you encourage many of us to follow your steps and continue working on the lessons. For me, it's a way to learn or review the different techniques. Great work!

I finally finished the layout for the Lab11-Module 11. I struggled with the colors, not liking anything, until I declared it "done" and will move on to the next module. π Lab 11-11 Tutorials: Cross Pattern2 / Edge Cutout2 / Paper Clip3 Credits: Template - Scrapping with Liz - SwL_MBC_4_19Template Background Paper _ marisaL-DST13-09Sep Horse-paper143 Alpha - Delicious Scrap DS_SpringIsIn_Orange_Alpha Horse Graphic - DiHillerDesigns_June2024_Horse Staple - ShabbyPrincess_Promise_Staple Stitches - KAagard_ByAir_BorderStitches_Yellow Extra Tutorials: Tags & Journaling > Notebook page & Text & Tiles > Word Sticker Fonts: High Notes & KG Arrows I changed the background paper's color to green with Adjust>Hue and Saturation>Hue-Saturation-Lightness. Later, I changed it again with Blend Mode. Including the original paper by Marisa Lerin.

Susan, are you working with PSP2023? I am not sure, but I'm under the impression Carole mentioned long ago that this feature is not working properly in this version. Is that so, Carole?

It's great to come here and see all these amazing layouts and techniques. I love browsing through the threads and being inspired by everybody's work. I never get tired of it! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Corrie wrote: "Today I was at the optician's and after almost 5 month of eyedrops treatment my sight has improved and is no longer the 65% it was. It is a big relieve!" I am so happy to hear this, Corrie! π ....................................................................................... Susan, I am like you, working on a layout to practice the tutorials from Lab11-Module 11, but it is so slow. It took forever to decide on a background paper. I tried creating a texture, but I wouldn't say I liked the result. Then, I went through all my kits, trying to find something suitable. I think I have it now, so now going to the tutorials. The only difference is that I haven't ordered my book yet; it will probably be only next month. I could have ordered the Kindle, but in this case, I'd rather have the paperback.

I was too fast πand wrote scripts instead of products, but it doesn't change the importance of the event. This is really a milestone! π ------------------------------------------------------------ "Are you all going to stick by me?? π" If life permits, for sure!
-
Wow, Carole, I am sure when you started learning scripting, it never crossed your mind that one day you would reach the mark of 900 scripts!! This is quite an achievement... Congratulations!
-
This is beautiful, Corrie! Great idea to use the Vector Spiral Script. I am slowly catching up with the comments and all the work posted... They are so inspiring!
-
Bonnie, what an amazing experience! So close to this beauty... really a special moment.
-
I love this, Susan! So many details and techniques... great job!
-
I liked this technique so much, but I haven't yet had the opportunity to try it. Since the first time, someone (sorry, forgot who was) posted here, and later, when everybody tried their hand and created beautiful layouts... like this one, Corrie!
