  1. November & December. More Corel clipart Autumn /NewYear freebies. For December, I used Cassel's Alpha Beads script again. I chose the square format, translucent instead of opaque beads, and slightly uneven beads. There are four versions of the Alpha Bead script.
  2. Here are my September & October layouts. I thought the August photo I used was way too colorful for September (it would fit more the months of July/August), so I played with Effects>Photo Effects>Film and Filters. Again, I added Corel clipart freebies, which I have had for a long time.
  3. I cannot agree more, Sharla. The great thing about doing workshops together is seeing the different styles, uses of colors, and approaches to the same instructions. There are ideas I could apply to my work now or in the future. We could do this workshop anytime as Diamond members, but it wouldn't be as fun. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I have the same issue with photos not working with all types of masks. Most Pixabay photos were 1920x1280, so I first had to enlarge them until they fit the mask height. I duplicated the photos, blurred the bottom 100%, and scaled down the top photos to fit inside the frame. Not all were done this way, but most of them... It depended on the time I had or wanted to dedicate to the layout.
  4. Ann, I love the layout, the background paper, and the pumpkin clipart on the 31st!
  5. I love the layout, Julian.
  6. Quoting Corrie: "I just take one of your posts to tell you that your photos are great and very creative. " Susan, I love not only your calendar but your photos; they are really great!
  7. Wow, Mary, great ideas for doing things differently! This is one workshop I like to play around with, although I keep in mind that the recipient is my mother-in-law and what she likes.
  8. Ann, there was probably a glitch after I edited the post; it showed twice, and I deleted one. I posted on Friday and wasn't back here until today. ๐Ÿ˜ž
  9. Carole, I could not be here this weekend, so I noticed this only today after seeing Susan's comment. I guess it happened because I had edited the comment, and suddenly, there were two equal comments. So, I deleted one, which probably had caused the glitch. The images are not from the same author or theme (pasja1000 & Couleur); I downloaded them a long ago.
  10. Thank you, Susan! I see now what you mean. I guess it happened because I had edited the comment, and suddenly, there were two equal comments. So, I deleted one, which probably had caused the glitch. I edited it again.
  11. Thank you, Sue! I agree; everyone is creating lovely and great pages. ๐Ÿ™‚
  12. I am also in. ๐Ÿ™‚
  13. July - August I forgot to mention, but I also added some of Corel's bird graphics freebies. Ballons from Janet Scott (ps_janet-scott_31183_tiny-but-mighty-3d-heart-balloons_cu)
  14. May & June
  15. March - April Chick - Corel-Easter-chick-5
  16. For this year, I decided to reuse the images I'd collected and used in the previous calendar workshops. They are all from Pixabay. I created the date boxes some years ago. I also have Cassel's Custom Calendar script, which comes in handy. I have created calendars until August. Here are January and February. I used Cassel's Alpha Bead script and Confetti Spring Picture Tube. Font: Baby Blocks. EDITED: Photos were not being shown
  17. Wow, there's no shortage of creative stuff posted! There are so many different styles, tips, ideas, and inspiration.
  18. Carole, repeating myself, I love these calendar artsy mask templates. After seeing some designers' work, I have been playing with this style for some time. I like the idea of a tutorial or class. ๐Ÿ™‚
  19. What a touching and lovely layout, Michele.
  20. Thank you, Corrie! I am slowly getting used to this new format, although I might also use a 12x12 size. Isn't Anna Aspnes' generosity amazing? First time I saw such a huge freebie,
  21. Thank you, Susan! This MegaPack freebie from Anna Aspnes has so much great stuff that it's hard to choose.
  22. Mine is correct: January 2025, starting on a Wednesday, and February 2025, starting on a Saturday. By the way, I love the new templates!
  23. This is the layout I created to practice the tutorials from Lab12-Module 02 (Flash Card / Photo Prong / Worn Frame). Sometimes, it takes longer to find a photo that I can use for a specific Module. Again, I used 8.5x11 size. Credits: Casselโ€” Alpha-beads Script and the Metallic-Rope12 PictureTube. I was reminded of using this script after Julie posted a layout with Marisa Lerin's beautiful Alpha beads. Papers: From dunia (Lilypad) โ€“ Background: essentials_krafts_20 & Flash Card: essentials_whites_16 with a tad of Sepia Effect. Anna Aspnes: Art Mega Pack Freebie (Thread_ UrbanThreadz3 _UrbanThreadz3_1) Palvinka: Photomasks - Palvinka_MoreThanWords_photomasks_2frame I am very much enjoying this kind of photomask with frame. I used the photomask from Palvinka as a base for the one I created (worn frame). Edited: I forgot to name the fonts I used. Arista 2.0 -- LilyUPC -- Aurellia Script
  24. Best wishes in the procedure, Gerry, and a speedy recovery.
  25. Stunning photo, Sue!
