Hi Scrapbook Campers. My contribution to the Christmas Song challenge is The Little Drummer Boy. The delightful photo is a freebie from Freepix and I think he is just too cute. The background paper is another using Carole's cross tutorial as are the grosgrain ribbons. All tubes are from my (extensive) collection, jen vrouw, jhanna, jdd and netclipart. Fonts used are Bradley Hand ITC and Carmencita. The glittery overlay was also made following a tut by Cassel. Thanks for takin a peek my friends. ;D

Love the Queens of the Court subway art Bonnie, nice job my friend. ;D
-
Tried again this morning Cassel and 2, 3, 7, 8, 9 and 10 would not work. Win 10, Google Chrome. :-(

A lovely page Ann, job well done my friend. As for the more elaborate fonts you could perhaps try searching for dingbat corners or just generally dingbats. dafont, dingbat depot, font squirrel, urban fonts all have freebies that may be useful. ;D

Thanks Sue, always appreciated my friend. ;D

A bit late with this one seeing as it was a November challenge but I put the work into it so thought I should post it. All done following Carole's tuts. Thanks for takin a peek. ;D

I decided to post this page here. I was going to post it on the theme page but I have started another for that using Carole's freebies. I saw a card like this online so I decided to make a copy with very few changes I might add. The eyes were made by following the googly eyes tut in Lab 10 Module 11. The arrow is Carole's etched glass freebie, as is the carrot. The mouth I made using the pen tool and the buttons were created using a tut by Carole. The snowman in the bottom left corner is a freebie from ajgv! Fonts used are CK Snowman and EloquentJF Swash. Thanks for takin a peek. ;D

2 & 3 were the only ones that did not work for me Carole. Google Chrome is my browser.

Way cute page Ann, well done Hun. :)

I wanted to follow along with this advent adventure so I decided to do day 1 using the beautiful snowy owl photo Sue had so generously provided ... thanks very much my friend. All created by myself following Carole's tuts and using a few of her scripts except for the leaves which were courtesy of Graph-SabineDesign. Thanks for takin a peek. ;D

Ann, Anne and Lynda ... loved viewing your efforts ladies, a pleasure to get on here and be entertained while drinking my morning coffee. ;D

Okay Sue, you have inspired me. I will attempt today to catch up on the Advent calendar. All your projects are lovely and I especially love your subway art tree ... clever lassie! Thanks for the Snowy Owl, it is beautiful and I will do something with it for sure. You are a gem! ;D

Like Lynda I had a play around with the cross pattern tut from Lab 10 Module 10. It really is a fun thing to do and the possibilities are endless. I have created several patterns but I only used one to demonstrate the blend modes in the materials palette. So the same colour was used for the pattern and a lighter shade for the background, then came the blend mode change up, merge visible and a Filters Unlimited texture was applied. I could play like this all day long, lol! Thanks for takin a peek. ;D

You are welcome Sue. I am going to have another go at the subway art and today I am playing around with the scavenger hunt. Carole certainly doesn't let us get bored, lol!

Michele, your silver LO is lovely my friend. Terrific idea to use a snippet of the dress for the background. Well done.
Corrie, your subway art is lovely and clever use of different languages for seasonal greetings ... love it my friend.
