I finally got around to using one of Cassel's magazine templates from the Publish It challenge several years ago. The sketch is from Hayden Williams, my favorite fashion illustrator. The font is Vonique 64 (free, probably from DaFont) and the bar code is an edited version of the one Sue Thomas shared a while back.

B = Beans. There's nothing like freshly-ground coffee.

There was a challenge in February 2018 called Love Story and this is Day 1. I can't find it anywhere, not even in the archives. Earlier in this topic @Cristina said it was redone as the Masks Workshop.

I got both Kindle books when I first joined and I have the Tips and Tricks for PaintShop Pro book, too. It resides next to my laptop.

Here is my out-of-bound technique. One from the tutorial and the other for my gaming group. https://scrapbookcampus.com/2019/01/out-of-bound-technique/

I had to go "shopping" for "resources" to find "L2". I "randomly" found "l". It "generated" quite a "challenge" for me.

Once I identified which ones I had already done, I knew which ones I was still looking for. 1 E 7 O 2 G 8 R 3 l 9 Y 4 L 10 S 5 L2 11 T 6 N 12 T2

Having the photos in different shapes made it very interesting.

I believe that was Clue # 3. I ended up making a list one through ten, then putting the corresponding "letter" next to the corresponding number. I kept forgetting which ones I got and which ones I had to look for.

The main pic is from another great clip art collection from Creative Fabrica. I tried to make it look like I was using a mask. First I Gaussian blurred the background paper. Then I magic wand selected outside the clip art, inverted, contracted, inverted again, and applied a Gaussian blur. I'm sure there's an easier way to achieve it, but I was in a huge time crunch; I even missed my deadline by about 15 mins. I have no idea where I got the little grapevines in the corners and I added a few versions of my game avatar (my members like to see them). The title font is Morning Dew and the swash is Avelana Deco Medi.

W = Whole Beans. When I used to drink coffee, I always used to grind my own beans. My favorite was on Sundays when I treated myself to chocolate raspberry coffee. Yum, I miss it.

Now I know why I couldn't find it! Thanks, @Cristina.

#9 was the most difficult for me. I knew what I was looking for, but I couldn't figure out where it was. How "about" that?
-
I had totally forgotten about #7. It took me a while before the light bulb appeared above my head.

Thank you, @Susan Ewart. I was scratching my head...until I looked down. LOL

Back down memory lane. In Lab 6 Mod 01 I learned how to make a seamless "cathedral window" pattern, a wooden frame, and a puffy paint look for the text. I really need to get back to the labs ... so much to do, so little time. https://scrapbookcampus.com/the-lab/lab-6-module-01/

Digging into my own archives for this. It's from Lab 6 Mod 02 which taught me to make vector flowers, a string tube, and a hand-stitched alpha. I don't usually create complete layouts for Labs as I'm simply trying to learn the techniques. https://scrapbookcampus.com/the-lab/lab-6-module-02/
