  1. I had to Google rolling pin rings, but now that I've seen how they work, it makes perfect sense to me. If you want to cook chicken breasts but are concerned that they will dry out, try this. Bread (I like to use Panko crumbs) and par fry them to get the desired color on the breading. Put them in a baking dish, add chicken broth, and bake at 400F for about 30 to 45 mins. When they're all done, the broth will have been absorbed and the chicken will be nice and moist. Since I don't usually like white meat because it's too dry for my taste, I was glad when my sister taught me this method.
  2. O = Osteoporosis ~ something exercise helps you avoid!
  3. Shiny things distract me all the time! lol
  4. It's been a while since I had time to create a new one. (They've been repeating themes from 2017 so I've been repeating my layouts with a few adjustments.) The background paper is a chevron from PS/DS by Sheila Reid to which I added a Gaussian blur. I used the Andrea Bilarosa font I got in a free font bundle from CF and the flourish is from my collection of scrapbooking "stuff." 🙂 As you probably already guessed, the illustration is by Hayden Williams. The best part, and the reason I wanted to share this, is Cassel's gimp trims picture tube. I used one to frame the illustration and the layout.
  5. H = Heart Rate
  6. C = Crunches
  7. P = Pull-ups...I could never do those in school. No upper body strength.
  8. We had to have our arms straight up! You had it easy. LOL
  9. I think it looks fine. By the way, I want a piece of every topping!
  10. C = Carb Loading
  11. S = Sit-ups
  12. I love the simplicity of this one. I appreciate how you took the complexity of the original template and changed it so the bride was the star.
  13. More gnomes for me from CF! The snowflakes are a picture tube from Corel which I colored using the change to target brush. The font is Merry Sugar Snow and I used a combination of an outer bevel and Gaussian blur to make it look like it's sunken into the snow, too. (I know Blue Winter is supposed to represent sadness, but I decided to go another way.) I just realized I forgot to add "Fabulous Divas" somewhere in the pic. That's what happens when you run out of time; I really need to start these earlier. ðŸĪŠ
  14. I = Interval Training
  15. I taught myself to play guitar when I was a teenager and I used to sing. I was better at singing than guitar and that's not saying much. LOL.
  16. Me, too, but I forget what I learn by the next day. LOL.
  17. N = No Pain No Gain (Two n's for Corrie and Suzy!)
  18. P = Pull Ups
  19. As most of you know, I love gnomes. These cuties are from CF (I have a subscription so I have a lot of their stuff). The font is Bestop Glistening, also from the Absolute Font Bundle. For any newbies to the Campus, I often create frames like this. I increase the canvas size, magic select around the bottom layer, add a new layer and fill the selection (in this case I used the same gold sequin pattern that I used for the text). Then I apply an inner bevel. It's a quick, easy way to dress up a layout.
  20. Most of the elements are from Creative Fabrica. I used their preview of their Pink Nutcracker Christmas Clipart as inspiration. The font is Bahgila from the CF Absolute Font Bundle from last year. The bundle is still available for $1. I love this bundle because all of the fonts have additional glyphs.
  21. H = Healthy eating.
