I want to mimic the example. I used Expand Selection, but the selection is offset. What am I doing wrong? UPDATE: Before I hit SUBMIT, I realized the first question would be about what version I was using, which reminded me to test it in another version. It works in PSP 2022 but does not work in PSP 2023. More often, I have to revert back to PSP 2022.

Day 3. This was taken a few years ago. She was mad because she still had to use the car seat. Once they got on the road, her mother informed her that she was going to the pediatrician. From that moment on, she became as incorrigible as she could.

Day 2 - All of the fonts are unicorn related: Cute Alphabet Unicorn, Unicorn Express, Star Unicorn, Magical Unicorn, and Groovy Unicorn. The monogram at the top corner of the picture is Star Unicorn Monogram. My niece loves unicorns, just like her Uncle. Although, unlike her uncle, I think she is starting to outgrow them. Such is life in "Honah Lee" ...

Londyn always made sure he looked his best in case the teacher in case he had to be on camera. This is 5 years ago. All of the elements, including the apple I used for the paper, came from Creative Fabrica. The font is School Rules, also from Creative Fabrica. It is a set of three fonts, one with letters and lines, one with only lines, and the other with only letters. Because I couldn't figure around the blank space using the combination letters and lines, I did them separately on layers and aligned them manually.

The Knockout Rose bush always showed out every season with spectacular blooms. At the end of this season, it died. A new little bush has taken its place. Soon we will see if it can fill the roots of its predecessor. The decorative font is Beauty Reason from Creative Fabrica. The top and background papers are from Annie Digital. The middle is a simple flood fill using a color from the background paper. The corner punches and heart brushes are from Cassel.

Rudy and River in a reverie. Carole: The font from yesterday was a freebie from Creative Fabrica called The Romantic by Lettersiro Co. I checked to see if it was still available, but it is now $15. This is the first time I've used it.

The nondescript photo of the night sky was taken just after I moved here from Miami, which is plagued by light pollution. Viewing celestial events, such as eclipses or meteor showers, were impossible to see. Even enjoying a starry night was out of the question. There are no streetlights where I live, so I took a moment to enjoy the night sky. I forgot to attribute the quote. It is from that prolific master of words, Unknown. The colors of the kaleidoscope didn't work so I used one as an overlay for texture.

The birthday party was universal for the entire family. We used to get together for each of the kids' birthday, but they got older and would rather go out with friends.

The layout with River features my departed dog, Lynda. She was The Mother of the House, raising Rudy and River from crusty kittens. Although she feigned grumpiness at their antics, she was always watching over them. The card uses a picture from Pixabay and a paper from Creative Fabrica. The third layout is my eldest niece and her family. The paper and element are from the kit Escale Amoureuse. The wordart is from Creative Fabrica.

Forty-four years ago, this area was rural farmland. Back then, they removed the power lines and made sure the cows were out of the way. Huntsville has grown to be the largest city in the state, so moving it was impossible. Plus, the price tag for a total refurbishment was over $7 million!

I always wanted to go to space camp but went to music camp instead. In front of the museum there is a Saturn V rocket that is lit up at night. It's an awesome sight as you approach it.

At the last Boot Camp, my Project 5 featured the Saturn 1B rocket at the Welcome Center at the Alabama/Tennessee line. Since then, it has been determined that it is no longer structurally sound. Refurbishing it would require moving it to the NASA Marshal Space Flight Center in Huntsville. In 1979, power lines across roads were temporarily removed. Although the rocket had been dismantled, electrical poles were taken down to accommodate the massive size of the pieces. Today, overpasses make it impossible. The font for the title is Neilvard One and the text font is Calibri which recently became the official font for the US State Department. The papers are from Marisa Lerin.

This is my 5-year-old great-nephew, Noah, who loves dinosaurs. The shadows on the dinos were an experiment. I guess I could have treated them as stickers, but it gave me a chance to try something different. The papers and elements are from a collaborative kit called Boy of Mine. The font is Unicorn Express from Creative Fabrica. Carole: The buttons from the previous layout were "as is" from the designer. After your observations, I probably wouldn't have used them. I did try to flip them, but it didn't work in the space I wanted. After this, I will never look at a button the same way again. I'm having trouble with brushes loading. It takes almost two minutes before they are loaded and ready for use. I seem to remember that you had addressed this for someone else before. Would you refresh my memory? Thanks!

The Boys are now 12 and almost 15. I first met them seven years ago. The elements in the layout are a hodgepodge of stuff. I couldn't decide on what I wanted to do, so I scrolled. And scrolled some more. The fonts are Paladise for the title and Dear Friend for the quote. Both are from Creative Fabrica. The glitters was created using Creation Cassel's script, Glitters-C.

Like mother, like daughter. The main font is Nonplussed and the handwriting font is Annisa, both from Creative Fabrica. The background and drawings are from Pixabay. The papers are by Marisa Lerin from Digital Scrapbook. Anytime I can use SpongeBob SquarePants lyrics in context is a good day.

I used the sandwich to help make my grocery list. Fun and practical. The tablecloth is from a kit by Jessica Dunn, Reach for the Sun.

Joining Boot Camp was a last minute decision. I always enjoy going back to the basics where I always learn something new. Because of major life changes, I wasn't able to finish the workshops at the end of 2022. I went from helping out with my mom to being her full-time caregiver. The pace of Boot Camp fits perfectly as I learn to carve out time for little projects. My workspace is basic with some adjustments. I use larger icons and have a couple of Carole's scripts, Open as New Layer and Clip-to-It, bound to menus. As a recovering "Early Adopter," I use the latest version of PSP. However, I always keep the previous version in case there are bugs in the new version when it is released. The picture in the workspace is my niece and her daughter. The other picture is of her boys.

Since I don't have a Valentine, I stayed with the Christmas theme. (BTW - If anyone knows of a potential Valentine, I am taking applications. LOL!) CREDITS: The Santa hand and snow scene in the background are in a bundle, 3900 Overlays, from Inky Deals. The wood frame is a Jessica Dunn design from Digital Scrapbook. The font is Christmas Time by Billy Argel from Creative Fabrica. As I was working on this, I drew from techniques and ideas I learned from past lessons and tutorials. Tricks used once in several years were useful again. It was a nice feeling.
