I did a quick search and there is a blogpost about it, which I always refer to if I need it. called: "Creating a Subway Art Project" Nov 16, 2020. There is a tutorial and there are 2 Masterclasses. But the blogpost is the quickest and easiest way to turn to; if you know how to do it your creativity will fill in how you can use it. I include here a X-mas card (in Dutch) I made in that period.

X = Xenium, a gift or present given to a guest or stranger during a visit - thanks google

Very nice and it would make a great card as well, like Susan said. I have used the same supplies from Anna Aspnes and they look great on your layout too, they are so versatile.

We had once something on subway art for Christmas, maybe it was a blogpost, or a tutorial I'm not sure I'll have to search for it. If time allows I'll let you know, because it is really, really simple to do. The hardest thing is to find the fonts you want to use.

Yes I agree wholeheartedly; now I understand how to do this it isn't complicated at all but it looks fantastic! I have done a couple for special occasions, like 80th birthdays or 60th wedding anniversaries. I'm entering the years that those will come up, so with different wordart, elements and colors they look very unique.

When you know where to look for something you want to do, it makes it so much easier and you will probably use it often! Maybe in the end you know how to do it by heart 😉

I opened a new topic for Christmas/Holiday wishes, so we have them all together. Here is my X-mas card to wish you Happy Holidays and say thank you to Carole and her team for another great year in the Campus! Thanks to all the members for the inspiration that I get from seeing all your projects and a big thanks to Sue T and Michelle for the idea and tips to make this card.

Christmas Countdown Calendar - Favorite Doors
Corrie Kinkel replied to Susan Ewart's topic in Chit Chat
I agree with Susan it is very hard to pick a favorite door, but if I must I choose the one of today, door 22 because it is such a good laugh! Having said that there were others with some new gifts that are great as well. I'm looking forward to the last 3 days! When my children were young we had Christmas calendars but nowadays I love the digital ones from the Campus and some from shops or companies over here. Carole thank you for another one, it is becoming a tradition now! -
Thank you and I'll keep experimenting!

V = Veterans Day

Rene I always install the windows updates and almost never had any issue with it. The only time there was something not working properly MS issued another update to remedy it.

We still have that same foggy grey and sometimes very wet weather as the last 4 or 5 weeks. Only yesterday we had a short period of sunshine, but alas I had a couple of appointments and a lot of things to do, so very little time to enjoy it. Therefore again I have experimented some more and this is the result. I used this plant Nandine Obsessed in week 49 too but now I zoomed in on the foliage and changed the light setting to stage light with gave this result.

Nice, I don't have time to do much scrapping this week but I try to keep up with the things that are posted! I see that you have unpacked your Anna Aspnes goodies too!

R = Rudolph

@ Sue I'm glad to see you back and was starting to get a little worried by your absence. Those 4 photos are fantastic and give a nice glimpse of the winter in your neck of the woods!

Ach Jannette dat is een triest bericht! Heel veel sterkte de komende tijd. De site is hier als je een keertje wat afleiding nodig hebt, al is het maar om even te lezen wat er allemaal geschreven wordt.

I too learned to save frequently, but I have not observed that temp files are saving all the time and I don't see anything like you said on the bottom of my screen either. So maybe we should have a good look in the settings, often it happens to be something that is on instead off.

I think I'm lucky because my PSP2023 let me type normally my text as long as I don't use the textwrapping and very seldom it shuts down unexpected. When it does, it is due to doing too much too quickly, at least that is what I think it is doing.

O = Outfit

Well it would be most welcome in my house too! I love the shop windows in the UK, they are much more elaborate and festive then the ones we tend to have!

Cristina they look fantastic and I'm still amazed how the different Calendars looks when printed! It is so worthwhile after all the work we put in.

December ALL ABOUT ME Challenge (2024) - Traditions
Corrie Kinkel replied to Cassel's topic in Challenges
I know it is controversial these days but from when I was a little girl we always celebrated Sinterklaas and I have the most happy memories about those 3 weeks in the year. The big department stores had made great displays in their shop-windows and the children could visit Sinterklaas there just as it is with Santa now. My grandparents always came to our house to take part. Most kids lost their faith in Sinterklaas when they were between 6 and 8 years of age and you were wondering how it was possible that Sinterklaas was in 2 different locations on the same time and wasn't looking like it was the same person. Sometimes you recognized the person playing the role of Sinterklaas was someone you knew, or you wondered how the presents arrived through the chimney when you lived in an apartment building. But after the shock of finding out, the great fun started, because you were considered old enough to start making surprise gifts for the rest of the family. Most of the time we draw lots with the name of one of the family members for whom you had to buy a present and transform it into a surprise gift which had to be accompanied with a poem. In the poem you could make fun of that person, or comment on something that had happened and you weren't happy with. But never nasty! Later we kept this tradition with our own children until our daughter moved to Switzerland where they don't know this tradition and our son didn't want to go on without his sister and my parents were to old to come because they didn't lived in the neighborhood.
