  1. It had to be a lot of work but these are some great unique papers.
  2. Even thought I am not participating in the A. boot camp, I just want to say how nice everyone's projects are. I will continue to follow the posts.
  3. I went back to my Affinity downloads and tried both exe ones, just in case I had the wrong one first. Same problem. Thanks
  4. Thanks, Because you had told us about your problems before, I made sure I used the exe one. Thanks fore reminding me about it though because that could have been the problem.
  5. I was going to try the Affinity Bootcamp but when I tried to set up Affinity I kept getting the notice "supported windows version is not found" When I opened the more information there were several things. I had turned off window updates quite a while ago, because they were interfering with some of my older programs. I won't try to get a later version update for that reason. If I thought I would be using Affinity long term, I might try to figure something out. Oh well, I was just going to try the bootcamp to check out the program. With all the conglomerated problems I have seen here, I don't think it would be a program I would like anyway. I do this stuff for fun and don't like a lot of stress interfering with my fun. Thanks Cassel and others too that have tried to help with the issues.
  6. The photos are mine taken after the Jan 5/6 snow storm. The frame is Thecass-PaintedFrames1-Sample-02.
  7. I believe I will give this a try. You have my permission to share my email for the 90 day trial.
  8. My favorite and most played were the Roller Coaster Tycoon series. I had the original and a couple of others. I may have to check out the ones that are supposed to work on Win 10. But maybe not. I could spend way to much time on those games. (thanks for the link you shared about Tycoon)
  9. What a precious memory. I bet you had a few tears when you found that precious keepsake. My extent with knitting was when my Mom and I took a class at least 20 years ago. I never caught the knitting bug, but my Mom got pretty good at it.
  10. I had looked up the info before looking closer at the afghans. At first I thought they were crocheted because I have seldom seen the knit ones done in the waver pattern. They are gorgeous.
  11. I looked it up Crocheted blankets became known as afghans because of the popularity of patterned textiles from Afghanistan in the mid-1800s
  12. Great photo of this beautiful flower. My suggestion to your language choice is to go with your own language and just include the English word in your explanation. Since we have to think of something with a certain letter and you "think" in Dutch, it would add a extra problem to deciding on an object. Besides that way the rest of us would learn another Dutch word.
  13. Here is my A layout. I will try to make the next one more interesting. Albums. The house is from ps_jessica-dunn_361407_perfect-pear-wooden-home_pu The A is am_intex the other text is Javanese Text the background is janclark-DSFeb2023bt-paper-1
  14. In response to all the dust questions. Yes you can photograph dust. I am not a great housekeeper, but my whole house isn't this bad. This if from a back room that doesn't get cleaned often. Also I have the windows open when it is warm with a window fan pulling air (and dust) in all summer and fall.
  15. C = Cotton Candy
  16. Back when I was in my late 20s The horse club I belonged to learned to square dance on horseback. I did that with them for quite a while but then life got to busy for me to make the practices. One day I got a call from one of the other riders pleading with me to take someone's place in the horse square dance exhibition they had been asked to do at the County fair. Problem was it was that same day and someone had gotten sick. It was quite a challenge to get my horse cleaned up and myself ready for that. With the help of some of the other riders, I did OK except for the time my horse fell after making a quick turn on wet grass. The horse went down with me jumping off as he fell, he jumped right back up unhurt with me jumping back on as he got up. (it must have been the adrenaline spike that helped me do that and luckily he was not a very big horse). We finished the exhibition with no other problems. What an unforgettable experience that was. I don't have any pictures of that day.
  17. I may be a day or two early but here is my New Year 2025 greeting.
  18. This was adapted from a small 8.5 x 11 page I made to thank my neighbor for some chili. It was a challenge to figure out shadows and other things starting with a small page. I have learned one lesson, don't start with that small (pixel wise) page for anything like this. Oh well Cassel will have to forgive me for it not being a well done page.
  19. Instead of the cat, that would be me if I had a fireplace. Of course I would have a heck of a time getting everything else done.
  20. Love this. And (not that I think you are one of them) maybe you should see if any politicians would like to buy it from you LOL. It pretty much covers everyone.
  21. I created this using some of the freebies in Cassel's Christmas countdown. I think the letters being squished at the end of each text line probably had something to do with the preset shape I used for the curbed line. Oh well live and learn.
  22. My Foxy dog in the window sill behind my couch. (yes I leave the inside window open with just the storm window closed so she can lay in the window until it gets REALLY cold and windy. Her favorite go to toy is the old stuffed lamby that she has had for 13 years. The paper is from a bundle from probably C F (Christmas-pattern-108649417) The frame was adapted from ps_brooke-gazarek_26591_touch-of-sparkle-christmas-frame-green_pu
  23. When our Church added on two additions right & left of the original, the ladies in the office wanted to know if I could create a unobstructed view of the whole thing. Whew, it became quite a challenge. I could not get nearly far enough back to get the whole thing because of large trees. I took several picks from the sames location, and some from different places but at the same distance. I finally got it the best I could and they were very happy with it. It has been used many times. (the bricks on the new part are darker so that is not a mistake).
  24. I do suspect they are telling you what you can take a picture of and kiss too.I bet they even gave those tail feathers a little shake too. LOL
  25. The challenge on PSP maniacs is lens flare and I made this for that sight and figured I might as well post it here too.
