  1. I have several of the KONG Classic Stuffable Dog Toys. I use some of Foxy's dry dog food and mix it with a little bit of leftover (usually) meat and a little water mixed together to stuff them with. I put them in the freezer and get one out every morning that I go to work and give her one. Freezing them makes it take longer for her to get all the goodies out. I started this when she was young and we were working a lot to keep her from being upset when we were leaving. Boy do I get a dirty look and told off if I almost forget to give her one. I guess that wouldn't work for a very big dog, but she is only about 15 lbs and not an aggressive chewer.
  2. For my 65th birthday a few years ago we went to the Florida Keys. It was something I had wanted to do for a long time. There a several tourist attractions in the keys, especially Key West,
  3. The challenge this week in the Paint Shop Pro Maniacs is path and this is what I did. It took me a while to remember how to do that glow thing that I knew Cassel had showed us how to do. I went to the blog - tips and tutorials - and searched Glow and found the one about using layer styles.
  4. I have been wanting to use this photo I took of my Foxy and thought this was a good place to play with it. She is a rescue and they said she was a Yorkie-Pom mix. I call her the harry beast most of the time because she has the Pomeranian undercoat and sheds all the time. I am just glad she isn't the size of a Great Dane. Oh well, I still love her to death.
  5. I really liked the inked edges and found them and tried one. I don't know what embellishments you tried, but I used the magic wand on one set to inside-tolerance 70-not contgious -no feather--and was able to flood fill that selected area with a gradient and it worked OK. It did take a bit of playing around to get it to select just the colored part with no white on the inside. Here is one corner of it.
  6. I adjusted some of those things and more and posted the edited one under the first one. Thanks, especially for catching the misspelling that I can't believe I didn't catch.
  7. The sunflower pick is mine. The background was done with balls and bubbles . the top text is Misha GergovalMas the other text is am_intex,
  8. My day 5 project. The walnut photo is one I took in my yard a few years ago after a bad ice storm. The background papers were created using one of my frosty window photos and then a bunch of editing.
  9. I finally got lesson 3 finished (durned everything else took up to much time lol. Sisters. I had a niece take this pic for me at my one sister's yard sale because she was moving a long way away.
  10. I have been playing with a pic I took of a corn field last year and added the full Corn "harvest" moon pick I also took. The frame is one I downloaded some time back but can't remember where.
  11. First I want to say, this is NOT the first time I have done the BootCamp. So I got carried away with a Halloween Theme and have been playing with this off and on all day.
  12. Interesting tidbit about the having to drive it backward.
  13. I thought about all the "stuff" I still have and decided to use this one.
  14. Sometimes it takes some bad weather to kick start a project. This turned out great.
  15. My Friday 13th page. of course her most favorite day is Halloween.
  16. Thanks, I will, I just thought it was supposed to look like that. LOL
  17. I am not sure where I will use this, but it is much more legible than most cursive fonts. Thanks
  18. This also reminds me of a helicopter ride in Branson Mo. It was before we realized how bad my Hubby's phobia was. It was just a short ride to look at the dam. Hubby hung on to his seat with on hand and the back of the pilot's chair with the other. I swear he probably left permanent marks in them. I teased him when we landed saying that don't you know if the copter goes down those seat are going down too.
  19. X = X rated novelty candy and cakes. (Not that I regularly eat them but have on occasion at a party. LOL)
  20. I have always wanted to do the zip line adventure. Any time we were somewhere I could do that I didn't because of my Hubby. He has a real problem withe heighths and would have been a nervous wreck by the time I got back down. On one of our jobs there were lights to be changed way up high. There was a old but safe wooden ladder we had to use (it shook a little). I would go up to change the lights and it was his job to hold the ladder and sweat for me. Other than some of the crazy things I did with my horse over the years, I have never done anything particularly adventurous.
  21. Q + Quick Bread -- I love Banana bread which is a quick bred
  22. I still do some minor repairs around the house, but not as much as I used to do. I have replaced kitchen and bathroom faucets, and drain pipes. About the only electrical stuff I do is replacing a wall switch or outlet, and then only if I have the power turned off. I have put together some things, I guess the biggest project of that kind was my kitchen table and chairs that had to be assembled. My age is catching up with me and I don't have the strength or agility to do anything major anymore. Oh well such is life.
  23. I just wanted to say this has been very informative. I have watched each days vid and played around some. I don't do a lot of clusters, ribbons etc. but if I do, I have all the links saved including the link to this page. I have read a lot of Cassel's comments to each member and some of the comments by other members. There is a lot of useful info in them that I may use at some time. Thanks Cassel and everyone that posted there projects and or commented on others.
  24. I saw this and thought I should be able to build something with all those pieces. Many starts and restars later this is what I came up with.
  25. OOPS! Sorry Michele. I did see you created it originally, but for some reason when I went back I got it in my head that it was Susan. Thanks Susan for letting me know about this.
