Not necessarily satisfied with this, but my arm has given out; not easy to do with a pinched nerve. 😄 I took the pic of my neighbor's flowering bush (tree?) a long time ago. I put several of Cassel's scripts to work: brad factory, ribbon factory, and bow 11.

Ouch.  A pinched nerve can be so painful,  The flowers are from a pink dogwood tree.  I have a bazillion pictures of them that I take every year. LOL

  3. My day two.  I turned it's side and went from there.  I went with the blue jeans colors because that is what my husband wears most of the time. He also likes his beer and chocolate cake so that is what I gave him.  The Happy birthday font is Stitch Patch which was today's  5/21 free font on C F. The cake was a black and white png file it it took forever to color everything , but at least I lots of practice with that technique.

Honeymoon....firewooks? Isn't that what they use in the movies for - ahem - the honeymoon night? 🙃

Isn't that what the honeymoon is all about?  I really didn't think about the fireworks meaning that in the movies though.  LOL

  5. I used the extra one from Day 1. The moon photo is mine the font is Love-Stars-29963770 which is one of the $1 downloads this week on Creative Fabrica. I also used the Cass fireworks picture tube.

  6. I was wishi washi on signing up for this one because I have not been doing a lot of PSP lately, but finally decided I had nothing to loose so I just signed up today.  I always learn something new or am reminded about something I forgot how to do.

  7. I have been playing with the PSP  kaleidoscope and used this USA Flag for some.  I also made a simple square red white and blue paper.  I used the magic wand on the dashes and flood filled it with that paper.  I did have to do it twice to get the vertical line right. I also did that for the squiggle. The background paper was one I had saved fro somewhere and I added the R-W-B background to it.

I maintained  the sizes of all the  pieces.  As for the dashed shapes, I started of by trying to create  proper stitching, with holes and all, but  they proved to be  to small.  I opted for  creating an embossed  effect instead.  As for the squiggly line, which I'm not fussed on, I decided to create  alpha, weaving  the letter through the  line. I used two of the  pieces for journaling, and the other two, to create a sort of split photo.  The framed ivy, is  one I created some time ago in gold, all  I had to do was to  colourize the ivy, and  frame.  As per usual I  used tutorials from the creative scrap on  the two journaling tags, to make them less boring.  Due to the  piece on the top left being  a little taller than the other two, I opted to tilt the pieces, so it wasn't  obvious.  Keeping everything exactly the same  size is a  bit of a challenge, but none the less fun.

As usual, you have come up with a great creative way to use this page.

An oldie but a goodie: Granddaughter Ilana and her boy, Logan, in the pool.

I was just looking at this again.  Something I noticed was the totally relaxed right hand of Logan.  You can tell he is not stressed at all being in the pool with Mom.

  10. Here is a single one I really liked. I found that if I put the orbits at 0 and the scale factor almost all the way down in the negative range, I would have a chance of something like the rose showing up looking like the rose.

  11. This is what I have been playing with off and on the last few day.  It is amazing what can be created from a regular pick with the kaleidoscope.  The center picks are some of the originals and most of the K. were created starting with them.  I do have all of them saved full size, so some of them may show up here and there.

Hey, Jamie. My proofreader gene just kicked in to report 2 typos on your layout. Impala only has one L and Compass needs another S. Interesting that they are correct in the story. Love the greenery around the Cricket! 😉

Your eyes would go crossed and your teeth would hurt from clenching them if you were assigned to proof read and correct all my typos and misspellings. Even GOOGLE can't always figure out what word I was trying to spell, even the simple ones LOL.

  13. My Dad bought me my 1st car for my senior year in highschool. He bought it new because he didn't want me to have break down troubles, (also I think because I was his one and only little girl)  It was a 1966 Ford Fairlane  the color was Emberglow.  Mom did not drive and part of the deal was that I had to take her and Grandma anywhere they wanted to go.  I had that car well into my married life and remember crying my eyes out when I had to drive it to the junk yard because something major finally went wrong that was too expensive to have fixed.  My dad had passed away a few years before that and it broke my heart to get rid of that car.  For many years my cars were all bought used and kept until they were no longer safe to drive.  When I got my first new one, I had it for over 15 years and sold it to someone I knew for there son.  I do get really attached to my cars.  The pic is not my car but one I pulled up on Google, but that is what it looked like brand new.  I did a poor job of extracting that photo--oh well.

  14. X = Xray vision.   What mothers sometimes seem to have when they can see the children doing something the should not be doing when Mom has her face covered with a hat while sunning by the pool.   (how's that for trying hard to use an X word so we can continue with the next letter LOL)

  15. I started playing with this with the font from the font challenge ( kg-happy.font?fpp=100 ) and a freebee from C F  that was I think a coloring book page. (https://www.creativefabrica.com/product/funny-bird-chilling-in-the-pool-coloring/)   I had fun with it but it did take a while because I was just playing and kept changing things.

My daughter sent  me a photo of her three girls.  Tot in the middle is the mother of the other two.  Smudge and Bramble is the wire haired one.  They are Parsons terriers.  I started the extraction last night, after  watching the  advanced extraction  masterclass in the campus.  It is an older video, but most helpful. It was a tedious, eye staining task.  Yet, althouogh it's not perfect, I'm happy with the end result.  I've sent it to my daughter, which she will get tomorrow morning. I given her a choice of background colours.  Here is one one them.

Well done, and thanks for including what kind of dogs they are, I was wondering what they were until I read what you wrote.

G = Getting in. Either all in one big splash or first one toe, then a foot then-splash when someone pushes you in and stands back laughing their head off.

I use the scratch removable tool to remove wires from pictures.  This is an example. I also played with glass texture on the one on which I had removed the wires.

I have done that quite a few times.  It really makes a difference.
