Cassel Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 How are you feeling today? Are you taking care of yourself? How do you do that? Show us how you care for your physical health, your mental health, your spiritual health, and everything in-between. There are many angles to self-care, so show us what you do. What will you show off? Let's go!
Ann Seeber Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 Just a One Minute Meditation to start the day.. I used the new Bubbles Alpha, the background was the lesson called "linoleum" and involved using noise and the displacement map. I found a few water splashes in my beachy kits.
Minka Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 I head toward the jacuzzi ... might even take a glass of wine. There's a big tv in there and I turn on something relaxing.
Michele Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Whenever I try to meditate, I fall asleep, Ann. I might try your one minute method. Minka, can I come over and use your jacuzzi?
laurie solaas Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 I love being outdoors in nature, and just being in nature heals my soul. I love seeing all of the wonderful things that God has made. I down-loaded the quote and background paper from Pixel Scrapper.
Minka Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 I think that many of us in this pandemic are constantly reminded of all the things we SHOULD be mindful of AND all the things that still make us truly blessed even though we may be somewhat isolated. I try to stay grounded, but I do think it's hard sometimes - for everyone!
Bonnie Ballentine Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 A part of self-care is relieving stress and doing what makes you happy...for me...pickleball, among other things...cats, nature, wildlife, ice cream...
Ann Seeber Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 Off The Leash by Rupert Fawcett. I just embellished his cartoon a bit. Just having a little fun: our pets deserve self-care, too! :-D
Anne Lamp Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Part of my self care is getting out by myself to take pictures. This gives me good exercise, time to think, and it is a great stress reliever. I had access to this church and grounds anytime I wanted it because my Husband and I worked there from the time it was built until about a year ago.
Ann Seeber Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 I see it's too late to edit my previous post of The One Minute Meditation but I'll post my revision here. The first one seems sloppy to me.
