Marie-Claire Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Day 2 I used the template from Carole, with other elements and my own photo. Thanks Carole for checking the day 1. This time I haven't forgotten the drop shadow on the title :-) 1
Sue Thomas Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Dear Annie, I trust that you are feeling better. And that you'll soon be back on form. I'm sure I speak for others when I say that I miss your pages and your high spirits, that motive us, myself included. Thank you ever do much for your kind words. X 1
Minka Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 I used some of my favorite prints of Edward Hopper. 1
Shirley Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Wise words day 2. It is pretty busy, but I was quite pleased with how the text worked out. I foraged through my stash for the papers and elements 1
Shirley Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Alicia, you will love New Zealand but I guess your visit will be delayed until we are out of lock down and I am not sure when our borders are going to open. Our government have ordered very strict rules and I don't think overseas travel will happen in the close future. Let me know when this time comes and how far south you are planning to visit, we may be able to meet Cheers Shirley 1
Shirley Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Annie, Thanks for your remarks, and it is good to see your happy face again. Keep safe and well. 1
Annie Tobin Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Lynda, your page for day 2 is delightful. If you are sending to your granddaughter I am sure she will be thrilled. <3 Marie-Claire you have captured a great shot of your friends. There is a story to be told from that I am sure. Well done Hon. Sue, thank you so much my friend and you are most welcome. The hand is improving slowly so I will not push it and only be creating for this challenge. I think perhaps age is fast catching up with me, ;) Minka, you have showcased Edward Hopper's artwork beautifully and the title text is delightful, well done my friend. Shirley, a lovely page my friend. I love the colour scheme ... perfect, and, your title is spot on, pulls the whole thing together beautifully! <3 1
Annie Tobin Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Day 2. I used the Raindrops and Rainbows kit from Pixel Scrappers and the template from Cassel. The photo is from Unsplash and was taken by Mohamed Nohassi ... I loved it the moment I laid eyes on it and knew that I had to do something with it. Thanks for takin a peek! 1
Dorothy Donn Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 I spent some time on this one. I did manage to get Cassel's boots all muddy though <giggles> 1
Vicki1672511057 Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 My first one is an old 'tag' I did years ago. It was animated with the steam from the coffee but I was looking at doing something with the image itself and had it open so figured I'd use it. Just submitted my final assignment of a course I'm doing so was a little light relief to play. 1
cindy harris Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 I love you guys work its all so Awesome Art, I am lagging cause having trouble with mine. Trish that's so cool like always. 1
Vicki1672511057 Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 And my second one. I just used some backgrounds I had and put it together so no template used. This was me just as I was leaving to go marry my man 16 1/2 years ago. 1
Rita Baseleon Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Thank you to whoever posted to unbold text. Worked perfectly when I did that. I created the Greek Flag Graphic in my Corel Draw Class quite awhile ago so I used it in this graphic. Rita 1
Bonnie Ballentine Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Mary! You are genius! I had my text set to bold when I was having the problem. I will try it without bold. Thank you! 1
Isabel Vasquez Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Hi Carole, I uploaded lesson #1 again. I made it with a different image from Pinterest. I hope I got it right. I am enjoying the classes. Good eveneing. 1
Rita Baseleon Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 I had the same problem. The stroke had gaps between the stroke and the fill. I did it over and over again last night. Never would have thought the bold option was the problem. Rita 1
Isabel Vasquez Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Rita, I guess we both are new here. But the good thing is we are learning. 1
