Looking to improve my post-processing skills for photography, I'm working my way through the PSP Discovery Centre tutorials. I came across the Scrapbooking one and realized it would be a great way of dealing with the treasured, but poor quality, family photos that take up too much space in albums.

I like the idea of saving as a PSP file so I can re-do these early attempts as my skills improve and I find my creative spirit.

Marjorie, we are really happy to see you join us. We do have a couple of classes specifically for restoring old and damaged photos but you can also ask any question you want in here! And I agree with you, scrapbooking is a great way to display those old photos and share your stories.

Welcome Marjorie ! .... you have created wonderful memory pages... going by your photos you are a Brisbane girl as I am also... You reminded me of the old  4BK radio station days and my cousins lived in Annerley so as children my family traveled to Annerley many times.

I am sure you will enjoy your stay in the campus as there are many wonderful and encouraging folk  who participate here.  Look forward to seeing more of your work.

best wishes,

Dawn.

Bonnie, Sharon, Michele, Lynda, and Trish, wonderful work on your pages my friends. It is always a pleasure to get up of a morning and peruse the beautiful work on this campus ... with a cuppa in hand, of course! Thank you fellow campers. <3

Hi Dawn,

Thanks for the welcome! Yes, I lived in Brisbane from school to the first years of marriage. I'm now on the NSW Central Coast.

It's great to see everyone's projects - very inspirational

Trish, you throw the best birthday parties. Thanks for inviting us.

Marjorie, a great big welcome to you. Were those your first attempts at digital scrapbooking? You did a great job with them.

Lynda, thank you so much. I also have recipes in English but haven't finished them yet. I have to say my recipes are not written in stone; every year, I change some of them a little bit: leave out some ingredient or add something different or both. :)

Wow, I am amazed at all the great work that has been posted here lately.

Lynda, Michele, Trish, Bonnie, Sharon, and Marjorie, you all created lovely, fun, scary, and fantastic layouts. Great job, everyone!

Marjorie welcome to the Campus! It's a great place to hang out and to learn so much. It looks like you've already caught the digital scrapping bug. I can't wait to see what you create next.

Cristina, I'm going to confess right now! When you post your recipes in English I'll probably be the first to grab them! I'm an avid recipe collector. I'm not sure if I have more recipes than fonts but it's a close race!

I've been tied up with what should have been a simple project, but my lack of PSP skills kept getting in the way. I finally decided to leave it alone and ask for a tutorial or suggestions. I can't definitely tell you all how NOT to build a birdhouse in Paint Shop Pro LOL!

I  created the pickleball magazine cover in 2017. The basketball cover was created June, 2019 using a green screen. They were a freebie for the athletes at the National Senior Games. When Ronnie and I are pickleball partners, we are the Onnie team.

Great pickleball pages, Bonnie. I hope you share them with your fellow players, too. Would love to see an actual game IRL. It looks like a very interesting sport.

Sharon, I think your birdhouse is adorable. I love how you mirrored the roof pattern from the right side onto the underside of the left. Since you asked, can I make a suggestion? In my opinion, the tree trunk looks too realistic to go with the birdhouse. I think a tree with a more "cliparty" look would do it more justice and not pull focus from the house which is the true star.

Sharon, you are not alone wanting pickleball to be in the Olympics. It takes time to get that done but there is an effort being made.

Michele, if you go to USAPA.org and click the places to play tab, then search the area you live, you should find lots of places where pickleball is being played. You should be able to drop in to watch. Also pickleballtournaments.com will help you find tournaments in your area for more competitive play. Most pickleball tournaments are free to watch.

Yes, I always share my pages with the subjects. Thuy loved her page.

Ladies and Gents, I've said it before and I will say it again...it is a real pleasure to be a part of this group and be able to witness the beautiful art being shown here! Thank you.

Bonnie, I love your pickleball pages so I am happy to view as many as you care to throw our way. Mostly ... it is your enthusiasm and happiness that shines through ... they always make me smile ... thank you my friend. ;D

Hello Scrapbook Campus.  I found this delightful photo on Unsplash.  It was taken by Bee Felten-Leidel and it struck a chord in me.  The papers are my own creation as is the layout.  The elements are from a kit titled "Spook" and it was created by Brooke Gazarek from Pixel Scrapper.  Thanks for takin a peek!  <3

Here is one more that I put together using another photo by Bee Felten-Leidel from Unsplash.  Elements are from Pixel Scrapper's Sheila Reid's scrap kit titled "Spookalicious".  Papers are my creation using paper templates from Pixel Scrapper.  Layout is my idea.  Thanks for takin a peek!  <3

I think by now you have guessed that I love Halloween ... such fun ... even though it is not fully embraced here in Australia ... but, it is gaining in popularity!  This photo is from Unsplash and was taken by Nicole Edelbrock.  Layout is my own style, elements used are from Elif Sahin's kit "Cast a Spell".  The papers were again created by myself using templates from Pixel Scrapper.  Thanks for takin a peek!
