I am offering you a scavenger hunt where you have to find some elements and combine them to create a layout or a project. Are you up to the challenge? Although you don't have to create those elements, you also have that option, so either you use what you have downloaded or you can still make them from scratch. Your end result must include ALL of those elements ;). I added some links to tutorials (only accessible to our DIAMOND members) but you can also use elements created from scripts.

one denim texture or element (here)

some gradient (it has to be obvious!)

one silhouette

one doily (here or here)

at least one round picture

some beads or pearls (here)

plaid pattern (here)

You can choose any theme you want, so what will you create with those elements?

Hello Scrapbook Campers.  I love these challenges for many reasons but mostly because they cement my knowledge of the wonderful tutorials available here.  The photo is of pine cones from Llandrillo in Wales, UK and was taken by Cerys Lowe from Unsplash.  They reminded me of roses, hence the title.  All bar the beautiful paint element (warm n woodsy paint element by Jessica Dunn of PixelScrappers) were created by myself.  The frame is the denim texture/element but it is a little hard to recognize as it has been downsized.  The gradient was created by using Cassel's great gradient creator script.  The title is made from the bead tube and was hand moused ... yay!  Thanks for takin a peek!

Great job ladies.   Annie both your projects are very calming and so different.   Sue the purple doily really stands out.   When I read the challenge and saw plaid right away I thought of the picture I wanted to scrapbook.   My doily is not very fancy as I tried one and it did not match the theme.   So just went with one hole and filled in the center.  I enjoyed making the beads again I used plaid.   Had lots of fun.

I'm not a scrapper but this challenge was something I felt I could try - in fact I'll probably write it up as a tutorial for my group.  Thanks Cassel for the fun and thanks  to all you talented people who have sent in their work :~)
