Annie Tobin Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 The abstract pattern tutorial from Lab 9 Module 7 is fantastic. I played around a fair bit to perfect it and ended up quite pleased with my result. Thanks for takin a peek. 1
Sharon Wilke Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 I've been going through Lab 9 Module 2 and I was amazed when I learned how to create a plastic pocket. I can see lots of possibilities with multi photo pockets. What a nifty idea!! 1
Annie Tobin Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 I love the way you have presented this lesson Sharon, very clever! 1
Sharon Wilke Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 Thank you Annie! I had to include grandchildren of course. I love your version of the abstract pattern! Yours looks better than mine did. I did have a lot of fun creating it. They remind me of stained glass windows. 1
Michele Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 That's adorable, Sharon. I think I've said it before. So many modules, so little time. ~ Michele 1
Annie Tobin Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Hello Scrapbook Campers. I had a play with a couple of lessons today ... Classes-Intermediate-Creative Scrap-Ribbons and Bows-Nylon Strap which I then turned into the Ribbon Loop from Lab 9 - Module 2. Loved them both! 1
Cassel Posted July 6, 2019 Author Posted July 6, 2019 Annie, these can become such versatile elements now that you can do them. Sharon, those plastic pockets can be fun. Make sure you don't keep them too opaque because it would just cover the photos or elements a bit too much, and you definitely want to showcase them, and not the plastic itself! Michele, at least, nobody is timed in finishing all those modules! 1
trish williams Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 cant seem to find where to post the camping pictures, anyone lead me in the right direction. 1
Cassel Posted July 6, 2019 Author Posted July 6, 2019 Trish, it is in the Challenges section, here: https://scrapbookcampus.com/Community/topic/july-theme-challenge-camping/ 1
Lynda DiGregor Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 I've been messing around with the Master Class, Overflowing. I still haven't gotten to the second part as I found this pretty challenging. Don't know if it's the photos I chose or I'm just not getting it. Anyway I finished three projects and they are all different. Still don't know if I succeeded. :-) 1
Michele Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Annie, you are just zipping through those modules! Great job. Lynda, you did a wonderful job. I especially love the pink roses. ~ Michele 1
Michele Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Another daily pic I made for my gaming group (click on it to see the details). I made the center stained glass flowers in the circle using a template and textures supplied by a tutorial. I actually combined two that I had made when I took the tutorial. I used one of Cass's corner brushes to help create the frame. Those corner brushes are so versatile. One of my goals is to own all of them! ~ Michele 1
Cristina Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Hi Everyone, Just a few days without checking the posts and what a surprise. So many lovely pages. Great work! I am still working on my Publish It layouts, and I want to finish them first before I start working with the tutorials from the Lab9-M07. Michele, I love the stained glass technique, and I keep forgetting to use it. I love the colors<3 Great work! 1
