I used the house template Carole provided in her newsletter.  I don't know how well you can read what is written with the picture being so small.  I moved into this Senior Apt Complex to get away from yard work and shoveling snow.  It is quaint and very homey here and I love it!  My grandson worked soo hard carrying boxes for me (I had spinal fusion 1 month after moving here).  He was such a trooper!  When we went to get the last of some small thing, he stayed here and passed out on his bed before it was even put together!  This was a fun template to work with.  Thank you Carole!

Hugs,

DeLoris, your page looks great.

here is a couple of email greetings/tags that I have done... have included lessons from the Lab on these 2... Lab 8-01 Paper cutout...Lab 8-02 Word Frame and also the Filled Cutout from this months Lab 8-10....  on the paper cutout i used a butterfly brush instead of trying to draw something to see how it would look and this is the result i got... i did add a small bevel...  both sentiments are purchased digi stamps .. the swirls made with a brush and also used some tubes.

best wishes everyone,

Dawn.

Deloris thank you for your message and your layout looks great with the template...  Things went a bit haywire yesterday when I tried to post and I did not know how to fix it.I contacted Carole but in the end my post totally disappeared and Carole was unable to retrieve it. Thanks again Carole your help was much appreciated.... So, here I am to give it another try... I  made a couple of small email greetings/tags and have included lessons from Lab 8-01 Paper Cutout... Lab 8 -02 Word Frame and Filled Cut out from this months Lab 8-10. On the paper cutout i used a butterfly brush instead of drawing to see how it would look and this is the result i got and i did add a small bevel.... the swirls were done with a brush and also used some tubes... the rose photo  from pixabay...... the sentiments are purchased digi stamps.

best wishes to everyone,

Thank you DeLoris! ...  and your tag is so very cute! ...   you have been very busy to have that many! .... I have always wanted to know how to use Animation Shop with PSP  and just recently  have found some lovely animated tag tutorials to have a go at....I think they make lovely additions to an email greeting by just adding the gif as an attachment...

best wishes,

Dawn.

Thank you Micfin!  Dawn, that's how I learned animation shop.  I can animate just about anything.  I use to make screensavers of my grandson when he was small as well.    I could just add a signature tag to an email, but in AOL you use to be able to set it up to be in every email. Once it went to a paid program, I can't get it to work.  I need to call AOL and find out what's up, just haven't done it yet.  :(

I learned PSP in PSP Groups, and they made tags (most of mine are animated).  I did it for YEARS, before I got into digital scrapbooking.  I learned mostly doing every tag tutorial I could find.  I also make animated comp sets (Thank You, You're Welcome, etc).

Hugs,

DeLoris

Michele .. Thank You !..   glad you liked them.

DeLoris ...  I have only made 4 so far but enjoying the tutorials I have found ... don't think I will ever make as many as you have because it will take me quite some time to get used to how it all works. .. do hope you find a way to be be able to use them in your emails again.

best wishes to you both,

Dawn.

Another theme from my gaming group. (We New Yorkers have a festival for everything LOL.) I started with a picture of the iconic Garment Worker statue and increased the vibrancy by 100%. Added a layer with a pic of the Seventh Ave/Fashion Ave street signs at about 40% opacity. Drew an octagon preset shape with a transparent background above a fashion illustration. Magic wand selected outside the octagon, switched to the fashion layer, promoted background, deleted and merged. I used a fairly heavy drop shadow on the octagons after copying them to the main pic and also on the text which is Fashion Victim font.

Hope you like it. (Best viewed in full screen.)
