Edited November 28 by Jannette Nieuwboer 1 9

That's a much quicker way to find it. Funny how I use certain items in that drop down list and don't even notice the other items. I need to take off my blinders. 😪 3 2

The photograph of the children is perfect, and sure, we can't see who they are, they do look as though they are having heaps of fun in the snow. Yosemite was all sunshine when I went back in 1988, and I'd bet it has changed a bit since then. The Kerstmis lettering looks fabulous, the red is perfect. Jeni thank you, it means a lot to me in this week dominated by all kinds of problems, not in the least an ill husband! I loved Yosemite very much and we were there way too short to have seen it all, but the waterfalls were fantastic in that time of the year. I would love to see the Autumn colors there as well, maybe another time on another visit to my family..... 3 2
Euka Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I did not have time to complete layouts but I did manage to eventually complete the actual text component of each lesson.... I had a little time today and decided to put them on a single layer and post them - D3 -text wrapping is not included. D1 being raindrops is filled from the top down and font is Wide Latin - D2 Fonts are S Black chancery - T Bodoni classic - O Castellar - R Broadway - Y Brock Script - T Charrington pos - I Nsimsun - M everything holiday - E Maple leaf. D 4 Arial - D5 ? - D6 Twack (given the reduced size the rope outline is not really obvious here) - D7 Fatty I enjoyed all the layouts presented in this workshop, they are very inspired and inspiring! Thank you Carole. 4 8
Jeni Simpson Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Euka, what a wonderful idea for those who wish to do the workshop and are time poor. The page looks great and I do think it works well. 5
Anita Wyatt Posted November 30 Posted November 30 Here is my final page 7. This one was very hard for me to do. I found a fat font on CF called Fat Kat, the papers are from CF, the cluster and elements are from Digital Scrapbooking and the picture is mine. I enjoyed this class and I learned a lot. I will need to practice more with the day 7 tutorial. You all did a wonderful job and I enjoyed looking at your artwork. Thank you Carole for your patience and guidance. 5 5

Anja you did a great job with day 7 and many of us had a hard time with this one. Finding the right photo to use isn't easy and personally I don't think I will be using this particular technique very often although it is always handy to have options, you never know when they come in handy! 4 1
Jannette Nieuwboer Posted December 2 Posted December 2 (edited) Ik had even een paar dagen rust nodig. Eindelijk heb ik het voor elkaar. De oude scripts heb ik weggedaan en er nieuwe voor van de site gehaald en nu doen die het wel. Als nog les 6. Edited December 2 by Jannette Nieuwboer 3 3

The colours just didn't seem to work for me, so many changes later, and I went with summer colours, the sun, and the blue sky. Coopers Creek is outside of Invercargill, the southernmost city in New Zealand, and about a half-hour west of where I live. As teens, we would head out there to party and I had no idea there was a small village there, until recently. This lighthouse building really appealed to me. I'm unsure what it is; and it could be a children's playhouse. The sun paper and the daisy came from Janet Kemp at DigitalScrapbook, the quote is one Marisa Lerin had created and I used the quote itself. I love the layout, the colors, and how you used the sun papers, Jeni. Also, a great idea to have a split photo. 1

Cristina Posted December 10 Posted December 10 (edited) Thanks to Susan and her sunflower layout, I could come up with an idea to use the Day7 template. Thank you, Susan! I did not follow exactly what Carole showed us, but it fits my needs. I think this layout works better with the other layouts I've posted before. The title was created using another of Van Gogh's paintings (Harvest in Provence 1888). As I did in all the previous layouts, I used the DiHiller PS2020Mar My Tribe freebie. I added Carole's DateStamp#8 script. Edited December 10 by Cristina 2 2
Cristina Posted December 10 Posted December 10 Here is the layout I had created before of the above one. It has nothing to do with the Day 7 tutorial. 😄 4 1
