Have you ever made an ALPHABET album? It is a fun way to showcase photos or stories, but with an added twist.

I have created an alphabet album in the past, where each page had a title (and a topic) starting with one letter of the alphabet. Then, the pages were placed in alphabetical order, even if not in chronological order. So, for 2022, I am suggesting this long-term challenge for you. With one page every 2 weeks, we will be able to finish the year with a complete album. It is up to you to decide if you want to print it or share it otherwise.

I will share my own pages, just for ideas, but I will also give you some more words that will start with the letter of the week. Try to think of one overarching theme to use. It could be about your last vacation, a family gathering, a hobby of yours, a location, etc. Think of something that you have lots of photos of or many words you can associate with.

If you have not started yet and want to jump in, no problem. You know the alphabet so you know what letters you will have to do and you still have many months to catch up on those few pages, so don't hesitate. There is also no deadline, so if this week's page is done only next month, it is totally fine too.

So here is my P layout.

Of course, you can use words in your own language too. As you can see, this album was done in French.

Here are some other words that could be used as title/theme:

Pal, Parade, Paradise, Partner, Passion, Peace, Patient, Peek, Perfect, Persevere, Pet, Pick, Plenty, Polite, Positive, Precious, Prize, Promotion, Protect, Pain, Painful, Paper, Paint, Past, Personal, Pink, Plaid, Plain, Plant, Politic, Possible, Price, Progress, Puzzle, Physical, Plush, Present, Proud, Parent, Pretty, Pebbles, Pen, Pencil, Piano, Photo, Pumpkin, Puppet, Pack, Parrot, Piece, Place, Point, Practice, and many more.

What will your P layout be?

P is for PIZZA!  My favorite pizza is from a local pizza place. Love their crust, thin but not too thin. As for the type of pizza, ham and pineapple from them is so darn good. Chain pizza places cannot match this pizza. They also have dynamite deep friend potato skins with bacon and cheese.

The P is for "PAULUSHOFJE" which means the PAULUS Almshouses. It consists of 13 little dwellings; build in 1681 by Justus de Nobelaer for the housing of poor women and is situated in the village centre. There still live people in most of them and a couple are in use as a museum. It complex is a National Monument.

This page is for Alphabet Album – P

What goes through your dog's mind when it watches you? In this work, it was challenging to find a color pair or, as some say, an opposite color. I took the dog's brown eyes as the first color and found a pair for them - soft blue :). I had been looking at the dog's eyes for some time and that's how the idea of the text came up: "A Penny about your thoughts!" The color of the penny coin fit nicely with part of the text and the rest could be the opposite color of the brown eye... is it getting too complicated?

Alphabet Album P

In this project I made the gradient myself with colors from the photos.

The mask with the script cass-MaskMaker from Carole,

the background is made from the large photo. I used the script cass-mirror mirror3, several times gaussian blur.

The frame above and below the small photo is my first time trying this technique
