A = Award of Excellence

 

(Canada Fitness Award program; they called Participaction.  Fabric patch "medals" of Bronze, Silver, Gold and the coveted 'Award of Excellence' - a combination of all three.  Highest I got was gold, only the chin up hold stopped me from that coveted Award of excellence, but I'm over it...sort of. ?)

C = C Awards - U.S. Army Commanders may now recommend their troops for 12 types of awards affixed with new "C" devices, products of an internal review focused on honoring drone operators, cyber warfare specialists and others who use emerging technology to influence the battlefield in unconventional ways.

L = Loo of the Year Awards (from google, who knew?)

 

An award for toilets. That’s right, ladies and gentlemen. Loos. The Loo of the Year Awards does exactly what it says on the tin and recognises the cleanest, most accessible and well-equipped toilets in the UK. But don’t expect any toilet humour here, these awards are very important for those in the hospitality, cleaning and facilities management sectors!

S = Sandford Fleming Award was instituted in 1982 by the Royal Canadian Institute. It consists of the Sandford Fleming Medal with Citation. It is awarded annually to a Canadian who has made outstanding contributions to the public understanding of science. It is named in honor of Sandford Fleming.[1]
