Rusty Kalidoscope, every colour apart from the yellow is from different types of rust. I never realised that rusts can be a beautiful colour and texture.
Libera I tried the bows on 2020 , when run on the set setting it was fine, when I chose my own it played up again, it did a weird thing, it started fine then the second layer start trying to pick up anything else that was open, like the colour samples I had closed down so they wasnt viewable. This then upset the finish, so when starting a new one it tried to start where it had messed up the previous one.
The curled ribbons works fine on 2020 for your information.
August 30, 2019 at 6:40 am in reply to: August Tut/Tech Challenge – Andy Warhol-inspired pop art #33906Thank you Carol, silly of me. but thought that was it. anyway as u can see, I have redone it, I should have left the edges coloured, and the white blends in to much .

August 29, 2019 at 9:35 pm in reply to: August Tut/Tech Challenge – Andy Warhol-inspired pop art #33891Carol is the tut the one mentioned in here at top of page, was there supposed to be instructions with the tut like you are saying. I have looked at the a few time, but dont get no words or writing just 4 pictures that move t supper fast speed, I dont know if anyone else is getting that. x
August 29, 2019 at 8:12 pm in reply to: August Tut/Tech Challenge – Andy Warhol-inspired pop art #33882Thank you Micfin, I will try it again using 2019 as I seem to have a sliping problem on 2020 at the point of saving. I did take each one from the original, which I removed from the final picture and did a selection , again from the original on all the fleshy body parts, then working from the original colour a copy and then colour a copy of the body bits. then laying the 2 together they fitted perfectly to what ever picture I matched it to. Hope I am not confusing you, I confuse myself enough. so I landed up with 6 copies of the original and 6 copies first copy of the of the parts , I thought they couldnt go wrong that way, but at the last minute they seemed to move and the sizes didnt match so had to juggle. will try it again your way tomorrow. I didnt see a tutorial on it, I ,must of missed it, 4 would have been easier. Thank you x
Hi Libera, thank you for your comments, I was useing 2019 for that project, I am having a couple of hiccups on 2020, perhaps I should try in on there to see if its behavour problem is still there. I think one of the fault are me, although it didnt happen on 19, it keeps telling me I have too much open and starts jumping around, the other is a simular problem where after spending a couple of hours trying to achieve something, the whole picture slips on saving, I just did a rust one, on what are you working on, the 2 churns where find, but the jug which was just an element, sliped out of place as did the background, and my attempt on making a hole in the tin can. most annoying. Have a nice evening. x
Who mentioned Rust, is there a post for it .
Love those feathers, where is the tut for that one please Linda, love those B&W photos Barb, great. that a fun pic Sharon, long time since I have heard that word Linoleum, take me back to my child hood.
Well I enjoyed the Warhol post, put me in a mood for some bright colours, good excuse for this colourful lady, another old pic I needed an excuse to use. Amelia is my husband Grandmother (aged 16 in this photo) look at how cloths have changed, I think there is enough material in one sleeve to make a dress for todays generation to wear. Have a nice evening x
August 28, 2019 at 3:20 pm in reply to: August Tut/Tech Challenge – Andy Warhol-inspired pop art #33817Well done all, some great ideas, so here is my take on it. Ive had this pic for years, thought Id never use it, but just kept hanging on to it, it seemed just perfect for this, although when I started changing the colours it reminded me of that jeff goldbloom film where 3 furry coloured aliens came from outer space, and landed in the beauty parlour.
I had trouble lining it up, everytime I sized it together, they moved and the sizes changed.
Have a nice evening x
September to me are berry picking down those hedgerows Carol, making jam and pickles, would love to know how to make glass look real.
What is everyone up to, I’m still at birthdays, and playing with effects. started with a orange unset with a leopard and finish with some crochet and a ball.
Lovely work Sharon.
Has the next webinair been anounced for September please Carole
Thank you Carole, yes I have that one solve, so much to learn, you think you will remember these small things. today it was the overlay for my watermark, first time in 2020 took a while to find it xx
Hi Libera, no it seems to have a will of its own, LOL variety his the spice of life so they say. I havent tried it since 2020, perhaps it might solve the glitch . x.
A-Apple and Blackberry
Q = Quince
Thank you everyone, much appreciated, I do love messing around with back grounds.
Well done Lynda, you flatter me.
I found a frosty page in Deviants I think, or 4 share. put it over a gradient, added a grunge and some lights or one of those bohka ones, then mess with the colours and opacity, nothing clever.
Thank you for your comments.
Thank you for liking
M = Mullberry
Then finished off with a tag, coz I like the girl and had to do something with her
a a nice frosted page so messed around with some more pages
Birthdays never end here, Ill have to fine a new format, this one works and I dont have to think about it to hard.
Hi Bonnie thank you for the explanation, I have never heard of it, sounds great fun xx
Hi Carole, I only just seen your message re brush library, and yes please I would love bigger pictures, with my eye sight, it is faster the sieve thru larger images than the small one. I have been turning some of the abr brushes images into png, which for me has been very helpful, and now know that half those brushes do not belong in brushes, so have some deleteing to do, Thank you x
A girl cant have to many diamond, but I have have had enough of triangles , have a nice evening all .x
I just had some lemon ice, so lovely. but oh so cold, lovely work everyone, it stretched the imagination.
Been a busy month for birthdays 22 cakes this month, sure keeps me busy.
Caroles mesage on organising Fonts, hit home, I just bought the library for listing my brushes, I need to catagories them, trouble is the pictures are so small, that the names of each one overlaps so you cant read them, there isnt an option like the gradients to have so many on the page, so visualising them isnt much better as the images are not clear, so its no better than running thru them, I had 59 pages of them 6 across and 7 down, and still have brushes to load, you cant see a brush until its loaded. Does anyone else have this problem.
Now I am going to raid the fridge, for some praline and cream.
Umm that frame looked better on my page than it does here, I am fixed on rose gold at the mo, decided to decorate the bedroom in it.
Well finally found time for icecream, other than eating it just now.
Bonnie what is pickleball ! -
