Corrie, I have all of Carole’s corner punches, and they get used a lot. I’m sure you’ll be visiting the store again to get more of them. I used the snowflake corner punches in my Robin project the other day by using the eraser tool.
Lots of great projects have been posted in the past couple of days. Great work everyone.
Cristina, Happy New Year to you too my friend.
My first layout in 2021. Snowflakes merged with the frame is a font. Perspective. Extracted the other Blue Jay by using a mask. Winter flowers by creative fabrica. You don’t have to be young to catch snowflakes on the tongue, I still do it!
I felt I had to end 2020 with a page which included a bird photo. A shot took the other day. The majority of Robins migrate south to warmer climes. Although there are some that decide to stay, and they do ok in a Canadian winter. I added the background photo if anyone would like to download it to use. You’ll find it in the Facebook page.
You are most welcome Annie. I love what you did with the wordart. Steven also used my word art, and posted on facebook. Your page is beautiful, with your character showing through. Lively. I wish with you a Happy, healthy, safe and creative new year my friend. Let the fun of creating awesome pages continue into 2021.
Another png to download to be used in a project.
Those are fun character Lynda, perfect for Halloween.
Thank you Annie, and a Happy New Year to you too. Lets hope it’s going to be as good as 2020 was horrible.
Hi Linda, it’s a road trip that is certainly feasible. I used to trail ride with a group of friends in the Grasslands National Park East Block, which runs into Montana. They have excellent facilities. With a horse box in tow, it would take me 5 hours to drive there. We live a 2 hr drive north east of Moose Jaw. The countryside is spectacular. Regardless what people say about Saskatchewan being flat, it’s far from it, if you are prepared to veer off the Trans Canada highway. I’ve also trail rode in the Big Muddy National Park. John Wayne country, which runs into North Dakota. Moose Jaw has the Al Capone tunnels. It’s steeped in fascinating history for Canada. If it’s on the card, let me know and you can stay here, or at least meet up for a day/afternoon at the Temple Gardens Mineral Spa.
I haven’t visited the campus for several days, and what a feast for the eyes, so many wonderful pages posted. Well done everyone.
The sunrises and sunsets we have in Saskatchewan are truly spectacular. Land of living skies. The coastlines of Pembrokeshire Wales, are on a par with Sask, when it comes to sunrises and sunsets, with outstanding landscapes. Here’s one of several New Year greetings I’ve done. A little word art, using text on a curve, and the mesh warp tool. Which I find very useful when creating word art and other projects.
Annie, what a wonderful page you have created. The rolled edge isn’t a difficult to do, yet it give a really professional look to the LO. A simple layout, which packs a punch with the Greeting. I love it.
Raymond, thank you ever so much for your kind words, as always they mean a great to me coming from a fellow PSPer. Have you had a go at creating them yet? I found I couldn’t stop at creating only one. It’s addictive! 🙂
I haven’t been on here for almost a week, and what a feast for the eyes, wonderful pages created.
The Christmas masterclass was one of the best ever. I’ve had fun creating trees and gnomes. In this project I added trucks to the trees to make them more realistic. Another gnome, and a word tree.
I don’t think I could have created a more simple, minimalistic ecard, which can be printed on 5×7 photo paper. As hard as I try, it just isn’t in my nature to fill my pages with lots of elements. I used the photo to create the background paper, mask, seamless tiling, blur, flood fill with pattern, added two layers flood filled with colours from the photo, opacity. Rivet, one of Carole’s snowflake charm tubes. Lace Xmas trees. I have several of them, which I’ve colourized, and renamed, and saved them as PSP files. So I can’t remember where I got them from, same for the merry Christmas corner. These delightful little winter visitor birds, come to my feeders, They nest way up north, in conifer trees, hence the lace.
Annie, what a fantastic page you created, a beautiful gnome family, you did a cracking job. I don’t think we’ll be seeing the last of the gnomes.
Raymond, I love your page. Very festive. You did an awesome job on the Christmas trees.
Thank you ever so much Cristina. Yes, I recall the gnomes on 3 of the months. You’ll have fun creating the cover. will you use the colours of the gnomes in the months, in the cover? I discovered that the larger the image, the better, it’s easier. You can always scale down.
Beautiful photos James. It will make a nice ecard. Do you know the skiers? May I make a suggestion? Add drop shadows to the photos, and I would use the perspective tool on them, slightly mind, towards the skier in the centre. Give it a try, and see what you think, you are the creator after all.
Thank you Cristina, and Annie, for your kind comments. What a pity Annie, it was a fabulous webinar. It will be posted in the campus in a few days, and then you you’ll be able to go to town, having fun creating them.
I have thoroughly enjoyed creating these. Credit goes to Carole, thank you! Such great fun. I even went to the trouble of Googling male and female Gnome names.
I can see I’m going to have to make a whole family of them. I used one of Carole’s snowman’s beards on this one.
I attended Christmas 5 webinar. These gnomes are fun to create.
Thank you Annie, All is well with you, I hope!
Thank you very much Lynda! The pine cone photo is what I pasted into selection. You have done an absolutely superb job on the calendar. The recipients will be thrilled to bits, I know I would be, if I was having one of them.
I’ve been trying to create an advent calendar for a while, finally created one I like. This one is suitable for an adult. My grandchildren are a bit young yet for them. It’s a bit late for this year, but I shall send them to some friends, along with sticker photos to be stuck on the relevant dates. Size 11 x 8.5 inches. I could create ones without stickers, and the recipients can cross off the days. Several possibilities available. I created a box, flood fill, added the dates, deleted the boxes that the eagle were in, making sure I still had 24. Extracted the eagle, created background paper.
Very nice Ann, I can make out the deer in the trees.
Thank you ever so much Annie, you are always so kind with your words, my dear! As our temps drops your are rising, stay cool!
You can’t create anything much simpler thank this page. There isn’t anything I won’t shoot in nature. I used 2 photos. It took me longer to colour one corner of the holly and berries than it did to do the rest. Those that know me, know my pages are quite minimalistic, always maintaining focus on the photos.
Another winter visitor. they too spend their summers way up north. They are friendly little birds, and will take feed from the hand. I added the the number six, matching it to the element. A layout I often do, select the bird, frame, background texture. Ribbon, created matching the colours, with Embroidery Font. This little chap is looking curiously down on the snowman.
Thank you ever so much Karon, on your very kind comments, they are very much appreciated, and mean a lot to me. These little birds spend their summer high in the arctic. They fly further south in late autumn, to spend their winters.
1, 4, 5 and 6 work. Windows 10, Chrome. When I clicked on the forum. 502 code popped up, server is down. tried again, and got in to do the testing.
What a beautiful page you created Annie. I love the snowman front cover.
Well done on the subway art Bonnie, aren’t they fun to create! I’m sure your friend will love it too.
Advent day 4. Come on ladies and gentlemen! I’ve included a photo of a female Snowy Owl for you to download and use. The beauty of creating an advent is that it’s minimalistic, doesn’t need any embellishment, unless you want to add some, you are the creator.
Subway Art Tree. A tree that doesn’t need daylight or watering.
Some very lovely pages submitted. Lynda, you have been a busy girl. You have lots of elements to use in your pages. So get cracking! 🙂
I’m using 5×7 inches (photo).
