Thank you Cristina, I glad you like him and of course the free image from Pixabay suits him so well.

Thank you Dawn. Here is what I did with the cloud script, I made Mr Snow. I vector drew his hat and scarf, used a few lighting tricks from Cassel and brush shapes for his features. I placed him on a photo from Pixabay and a plugin to make some snow. Hope you like him.

Marlene, this is brill, love it and not only did it make me laugh but reminded me of an incident many years ago when I had been given a tray full of eggs to take home. I dutifully carried them carefully down the stairs from my sisters flat, walked up the path and then tripped over the step at the end of the pathway. I only broke 6 eggs out of 24 so not too bad.

Thank you Christina and Cassel. I have bought some lovely scripts from the store and haven’t played with them as much as I want to but I have some ideas for using them in my head when I get some quality time to do so.

I bought some more of Cassels Scripts and have been playing. I just love Butterflies of any colour and shape so Cassels Butterfly script was a must have for me. This is one I tinkered with after running the script by using a brush and adding additional colour and shapes. I then ran the Directional tube script (another fav) and created a Butterfly Heart frame. TFL.

Great work Shirley. I too make cards and mini scrap books when I have time as although I am completely addicted to PSP I need to get my paper and card fix too. As Dawn has said, keep on showing your work and I too love your poem to your sister.

Thank you Dawn and Marlene. What i did for a ‘cut and fuse’ Dawn was my short cut interpretation to explain what I did to get a multi coloured bead outline. I made 3 beaded outlines of the same shape, one green, one red and a gold inner. I then cut each one, discarding the bits i did not need, merged together the right colours for the right bits, i.e. green leaf outline, red petal and gold inner. I have found that in order for the magic wand to work properly there needs to be no gaps in any line so I had to add a few beads manually where the script missed placing a few before adding the fills.

I realized after I uploaded that the text was not where I wanted it so have put it right and resubmitted. I cant delete the wrong one so sorry, you are stuck with its twin.

I have been inspired from the lovely layouts created for this challenge and so I have been playing. I made a beaded element by using a preset shape and Cassels bead tube and the Vector tube script to outline. I did this a few times using a different coloured bead and then did a cut and fuse job so that the outline had different colours. I then filled the spaces, gave them a texture and used the shadow techniques as taught by Cassel to give it some form and shape. I also made the plaid background from Cassels instructions and her pearl tube. The other elements were ones I have made in the past which are in my stash of PSP things. TFL

Marlene, this is lovely and the journaling has told me in a nut shell the story of the causeway which I have never known before. Your page gels together very well.
Sheila
A great page Rizzi, you must be very pleased with the result. Well done.

Lovely layout Dawn and gorgeous images of the Kingfisher. i have only seen one in my life and was so amazed by how tiny they were as pictures I had seen previously always implied they would be quite big.TFS.

P = Petticoats
M = Macintosh,
mine was made of Gaberdine fabric which once wet had to be dried in front of the fire and it would steam. They were not nice to wear if damp.

Lovely work Sue, great photo’s and what a handsome fella your beautiful cat is.

B = Bell bottom trousers (pants) remember them?
Love this Dawn. How fashions have changed indeed. How on earth women sashayed around in all that fabric especially on a hot day makes me want to go and lie down for a bit. Having said that, I think the fashion was more elegant back in the days when women were a bit more modest than some are today.

Thank you Dawn. I think everyone has done sterling work and some great effects with this technique. Gives us all another string to our scrap booking bow, don’t you think?
Thank you Christina. I really enjoyed doing this technique and Cassel really is the very best teacher, always so clear with her easy to follow instructions.
Had a go at this and found it very therapeutic. I used a photo of my grand daughter when she was much younger. After I had done I wasn’t sure of the colour combos but was able to play around with the colour changer until i found something pleasing to my eye, TFL.
Very interesting layout and informative Marlene. I remember peeps going out to AU for £10 when I was young and it all seemed very tempting but when you are young you have romantic ideas about it all. Must of been hard for two 20+ year olds. We had ideas of going out to SA as it was a good place to go for Engineers but the situation out there put a stop to that so we stayed here and no regrets. TFS.
Lovely work going on here and fab photos too.
Great page Christina. Nature is so amazing how quickly it changes from a tiny seed until its a fully fruiting plant. Glad our own growing takes a bit of time so we can see natures changes over and over.
Great work Leslie, inspiration manifests so much better when you are having fun and enjoying doing a layout.
W= Writing, good old snail-mail still has a very valuable place with communication.
