Just to say that Malware Bytes wouldn’t let me download this.
I would just like to say, what a sterling job everyone has done with their fabulous creations of work. I think we have all come a long way with our ideas and practicalities with using PSP. We have so much to be grateful for to Carole, who has given us so much tuition, time and inspiration. A big Thank you and Congratulations to her and may this fabulous forum continue for many years to come. Well done everyone.
This was me in 1983/84. I started Student Nurse Training at the beginning of my 30’s. Took 3.5 years to qualify. I went on to become a District Nursing Sister, a job which I loved. Retired at 52 to retrain in Foot Health and ran my own business for 15 happy years, retiring properly this Christmas past. I posted this for a previous challenge in 2017 and thought ‘why invent the wheel’ when it lends itself so well to this months challenge. TFL.

I really liked doing this one which was done after the Carole’s monthly webinar ‘Overflowing’. Lovely technique to make the eye go into the photo giving it some depth. TFL.
Something I did for basic scrap 2017. I have spent so much time this week going through discs trying to find past works. I always try and burn to disc because I have learnt how annoying it can be when PCs stop working and become defunct and you lose precious work. I do have a lot of discs though and 2 external hard drives. Anyway, I found this one, saved with correct save details, something I was a bit remiss about in earlier PSP days. I love the way this one used the rings as taught by Carole, something very effective and something that would not have entered my brain to devise. TFL.
I did one as part of the basic scrap course but not sure which one but around ?2016. I would have used my own background papers, glitter scatter, extracted flower image and photo. I can’t identify whose font or brush I’m sorry to say but they would have been connected to an older PC and PSP. TFL.
This is something I did to display some photo’s of the project we undertook last summer whilst being in lockdown. I also used a free lineart image of a pot of flowers from Doverpub which I used the plugin Cybia from Alphworks to make it transparent. I then was able to colur it using many, many layers and using other techniques to give some depth and shade. I used my own leaf tube and the interlacing technique. All images are my own eccept the Font. I can’t give credit for it because I don’t remember whose it was but it was possibly one that came with PC. The plants are growing up the frame this year but will take a few before it will look as I hope it will. TFL
No 6. Here’s one I did following Paintshop Christmas 4. I love making these Baubles and with Christmas just around the corner….. I used a fir branch probably from Pixabay and put Cassel Christmas light tubes in. I used my own image of a robin that I extracted from the original photo. TFL
No.5 This is what I did following the master class webinar Playing with your PSP. It was good fun to do. TFL.
No 4. Love all I am seeing on here. Great work all.
I did this painted Rose from the Art media webinar in May. I was really pleased with how it turned out as i am not really as artistic with a pen or brush for real. I used a reference photo from somewhere like Pixabay or it could have been a photo of mine, I can’t honestly remember. Think I will have to revisit this technique again and see what else I can make. TFL
Thank you Carole and Sue. I am so enjoying finding all the things I have done past and present, even though they are on discs saved for prosperity. Taking some time as I have many, many to go through and easily side tracked. I love to create some things more than layouts, things that can be added to a page. Carole gives us the tools and inspiration to help achieve this.
I can’t really pinpoint one specific webinar tut as Carole has shown us this technique many times.
This is something I started over a year ago and thought I would complete it tonight. I used one of my favourite scripts, Laser round cut doilies and think there is a you tube vid on it. Now, when Carole demos this, she uses the brush tool. I love to see if I can use something different and you absolutely can. I used the brush tool, vector shapes and even a tube of mine. As long as you change it all to red it will work. Although it is a lovely lacey pattern it will be flat so, I used the technique as taught by Carole to select a wedge area, went to selections, modify, feather, adjust, brightness contrast, brightness about 6 all around choosing the same sections. I did the same again to get the adjacent section but repeat but darkening by about the same amount. This makes the Doily wavy. I used 3 layer of doilies, reducing in size. The bottom one is left flat. I also used a bead tube from the store and used vector tube script to enclose the photo. TFL
Lovely things being posted. I found this one I did in 2014. I can’t believe how long ago i did this after the Monogram in Style webinar. So many things to find that I have done over the years. I have no idea whose font I used but all the other images I have made myself. I must have used the interlacing technique as well with the ribbon. TFL
Something I did a few years back after watching The Out of this world/ out of bounds webinar. Still love this technique.
Well, some great things have been created on here with this challenge. I was all up for doing this and my week became busier than i anticipated it was going to be. I started the first page but could not for the life of me do something I thought would pass muster. I was going to have another go at it today, everything going well, H/W getting done and then it happened. I slipped in the kitchen, hit my knee and shoulder on the way down and have been in some discomfort ever since. I don’t think I have bust anything but if I am in jyp tomorrow I will have no alternative but to go to A & E. So easily done and of course I was not wearing good enough footwear. Anyway, well done ladies, marvelous works of PSP art.
Hi Everyone, hope you are all safe and well. I am up for this one too.
Some fabulous layouts ladies. Its quite hot in the UK at the moment so all energy levels are down a bit. Still, it gives me time to think something up and join in when I have cooled off a bit.
Lovely work ladies.
Karon, such sad news from you and so sorry for your Son. All condolences to you all from this side of the pond.

Ah, thankyou Annie.
Fabulous artwork here Ladies. You have all been so busy.
I have been watching the late Bob Ross shows on You Tube and sad to think this lovely, talented man left this world some time ago now. His working left me mesmorised and what he achieved with a palette knife and few brushes never ceases to amaze me. Then I got to thinking, dangerous I know but I considered that this could be done with PSP and not one messy brush or clothes would be in sight. So, I tried to remember how he did things and came up with my painting. After I had completed my masterpiece, it needed a frame, which fitted in with this months theme. So, I added different size borders, filled and bevelled them before adding a corner tube, a plugin Simple top left mirror to make it look posher. Was really good fun and think I might be going to have another go and watch more of the lovely Bob Ross. TFL.
Thank you Annie and Christina. Lovely layouts Minka and Michelle, in fact lovely layouts all around by everybody..
Thank you Anne. Go for it. You will love doing it.
I have had a play with the Art Media tool following Carole’s webinar last Sunday. I used a free image of a Rose and painted. I drew out some leaves from A preset Shape 4YEOgarden-Lavender which I tweeked to make some pointed bits that Roses have, then coloured and used the shading technique to give a bit of depth. I also used the sharpen tool in places. Overall, I am pleased with how it turned out and is very relaxing to do. TFL.

Great things going on here Ladies, I am well behind but will have a go at something later.
Both great layouts Annie and Minka. The giraffe did make me smile.
Thank you Annie. Yes practice does make improvements but you have to keep doing it as brains forget so easily.
I have had another go using my Wacom Intros. Still having hiccups with the buttons and what they do, especially within Paintshop so it’s a bit of pen, a bit of mouse and the keyboard. Anyway, I did this Rose and thought it turned out not to bad.
On another note, i have been playing with paper, dies, pigment and glue and made some paper flowers following some you tube vids by a lovely lady called Juili Kelvekar. A very talented lady. Anyway, I made some fuschias and lillies. I need to practice more with the green clingy tape on the wires. TFL.
Thank you Ann.
