Computer problems and dealing with a heatwave have kept me from keeping up with the projects but will try catch up – might just do it. I’ve stuck with photos of Durham – this time the castle.
Love all the different pages that are being created. I’ve used one of my photos of Durham Cathedral with papers from various kits and a scatter from a Gina Jones Nov 2021 kit.
Hi everyone, sorry to be late in joining. Am loving the sandwiches and tables already. I’ve done bootcamp before but am already shocked at what I’ve forgotten so glad to be here.
I’ve submitted a couple of photos. One of a sheep and one of two horses. Links below if you’d like to see:

I’ve got behind but here is my day 6 quick page using the extra.
My Quick Page 4 uses some photos of geese taken locally. I slightly altered the background colours just to prove to myself that I could do it again.
Sue – Thank you so much for the step by step instructions (#76894) – I’ll give them a go and report back.
A little later… and I am so pleased to have succeeded following your instructions – many thanks.

I tried to change colours as some of have so successfully done but I simply made a mess – many times! So, in the spirit of a quick page, I have simply added photos of bluebells which in the North of England are at their very best at the moment.
Okay, project 1 with a cute blackbird and sparrow.
The scatters are from https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/gina-jones/kits/my-everyday-november-2021-scatters-kit-scatter-element-autumn-leaf-acorn-flower-love
The papers and flowers are from the Mint & Brown Mini Kit https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/marisa-lerin/kits/mint-brown-mini-kit-flowers-brads-ribbons-papers-green-yellow
Photo taken by me.Susan I really like the colour scheme with the tackle box photo – it really works well. And, Pirkko you are right – the blues are a perfect fit for the baby bird.
I’ve been unimaginative and simply added a photo.
Thanks for this challenge Carole. I really like the idea of Sketches – they seem less restrictive than templates (to me). I used bits from 3 kits – coastal print kit, thankful harvest, and april scraps all from digitalscrapbook. The photos are mine and link to a day out back in 2012.
Your article ‘Templates or sketches?’ has an image of a book of 500 Scrapbooking sketches which sadly links to an error page.

What amazing fun and different layouts. I enjoyed this challenge – it was fun. The photo in mine is a sculpture called The Angel of the North by Antony Gormley located in Northern England not too far away from me.
Hi all
My project 5 – the photo is one of mine of a statue in my garden. Papers from Sharon Dewi Stolp Family Day Solid Papers Kit. Flower from Rachel Martin’s Alira kit. Frame from Rachel Martin’s Natalia frames kit.
Carole – Happy Birthday for yesterday and thanks for the shop discount.
Carole thanks for the observation about the shadows on my project 3 – I thought that something didn’t look quite right.
My project 4
Most items from Jessica Dunn’s Spring Day Mini kit
Sprig of flowers from Jessica Dunn’s Spring Skies kit ‘

The photos are mine from a local walkThe daffodil season seemed to last many weeks this year with the white daffodils continuing long after most of the yellow ones. The photos were taken on a local walk.
All papers and elements from digitalscrapbook.com: The glitter is from the Purple & Green Glitters Kit, most of the rest is from Lisel Rice April blog train kit and the star paper is from Brrr mini by Gina Jones
Hi all – am loving all your lovely projects.
Ann your easter eggs brought back memories – my parents were Polish and painting eggs at Easter time was an annual ritual.
Pirkko – I love the colour schemes with the pup and lakeCarole my previous photo was from near to home – the birds in my garden rarely sit still long enough for me to get any decent photographs and when they do I never have my camera with me!
The photo in project 2 is some pear blossom in my garden. Really hoping the frosts have passed because last year we had some late ones and the pears failed. I used bits from the kits Carole gave links for. The pears are some clip art I already had.
Okay, project 1 with a cute blackbird and sparrow.
I used 2 kits both from digitalscrapbook.com – gina-jones scatter elements and Mint & Brown Mini. The photo is one of mine.
Yeah… my second bootcamp.
I was inspired by the sandwiches made by Pirkko, Alan, Ann, and Linda and just had to have a go at doing it differently. Additional images are from digitalscrapbook.com
Carole – the sandwich exercise is a great way of teaching and showing how layers work in paintshop pro. Thank you
I’m near Hexham in Northumberland in the UK.
