Lois Duckworth your card #5 is so sweet it really melts my heart!
Card 3- I have had these elements for a year now and thought this layout would be perfect them. I really like the background design a lot. The font that I used is call Sophia. Thanks, Carole, for all that you do in helping members on our journey…..
Sticking with the Christmas cards so far, This will take some of the pressure off when looking for last minute ideas! I thought the colors of this card could also be used for a birthday card if you save in PSP format and change the text to suit the occasion.
I made this composite a few years ago, but I added shadows to the original for this workshop. The brad is from Marisa Lerin. What a nice simple layout, Thanks Carole!
This workshop sounds great! I have always loved sending Christmas cards and still do, but I miss receiving them to include them in decorating my home…. Thankfully I have saved many of my favorite cards that I received & sent and now use them to decorate with!
I managed to finish one more project from the BC-workshop! Have company visiting for 2 weeks. The pics I used for this page were taken this past week when my husband and I took a ride to the lake so we could cool off, it has been crazy hot as many of you probably were very hot also. I decided to add 4 pics instead of all of the elements.
Susan Ewart thanks for your kind words about my Columbine post, I am glad you enjoyed it! If you are interested in the striped paper it is called Lake District and I found it on Digitalscrapbook.com.
Poking along not sure if anyone will get to see this but I thought I would post anyway! I have always had a real soft spot for Columbine, they grow wild all around my home in the woods/Mountains of Maine….
I signed up for Bootcamp in hopes that it would jumpstart me after the loss of my brother a few months ago. It has definitely helped! I decided to use some photos of him when he was 15 years old. He was training ahis pony named April, she was later teamed up with another pony to pull team. My brother’s adventure was very successful. I will share more scrapbook pages in the future. Carole’s Rusted Alpha was just what I was looking for to accent the page!
As usual I am pulling up the rear, but I will try to keep at it! I am always so inspired by the beautiful work that everybody in this group creates. Thanks to Carole and everybody for sharing your work…. Oh yes this is a Rhododendron & a happy bee enjoying the bloom on one of my shrubs.

Thank you Cindy! I have to give credit to our wonderful teacher Carole and all of the inspirational posts from the group!
QP-7 Such a fun time family visiting…Our Nephew was all dressed up and ready for the busy day that was planned…. then he found a puddle while my husband and I were watching him…. he was (we were) having so much fun that we couldn’t stop him…talk about great moments…. then mom came along…. I think she was more upset with us than she was with our Nephew!
QP6-Photos from my phone, I thought this was a nice layout to showcase some of my flowers from last year!
I decided to repost QP-5, it has been bugging me ever since I noticed that I didn’t use uppercase S for the word Spring….. (Much better)
QP-5 A few years ago we had a spring visitor to the yard…thought this would be fun pictures to revisit!
QP-4 The Artist’s Bridge in Bethel Maine, a fun spot near my home to visit and Explore!
QP-3 Different stages of the sunflower opening. (Last year) I need to get some of my pics off of my phone and out where I can enjoy them!
QP-2 A fun afternoon playing in the Dunes on Cape Cod in Massachusetts!
QP-1 This is an Orchid Cactus bloom. I started the plant from a slip off of my husband’s grandmother’s plant that we estimated was about 100 years old. We waited many years to get the plant to bloom! It was worth the wait….
I made this page for my husband’s family members. We spent a nice afternoon visiting them in their yard full of gnomes, and 2 happy cats!
Better late than never! My niece Kelsey (Flora Dora was the playful name I gave her that day) having fun with the bouquet of flowers that I gave to her many years ago. A great visit, we don’t see family often as they live 5 hours away.
Carole, I am having problems with #3. When I try to clip paper to the circle either with clip to it script or manually, it makes the whole image black when creating the mask (no white). I have used the script on the other 2 areas, and it works fine. I hope that I have explained this well…. Thanks
These pictures are from a previous year, but I am awaiting the arrival of Trillium this year! It is usually a sign that Spring is here to stay….. Fun lesson, thanks Carole!
Any suggestions welcome….I really wanted to use the black scallop edge but wasn’t sure about creating the shadow(I did my best). I also wasn’t sure If I needed to apply shadow to text in the bottom frame? I’ve really been been enjoying the awesome work that has been posted!
A big thanks Cassel and everybody who posts and helps to answer questions. It is all so inspiring!
This has been a wonderful workshop! I have been in and out of it for a few weeks now having fun and picking up lots of new ideas.??? is there a shut off date for adding posts to the forum?

Hello everybody! I needed a quick birthday wish for my brother this past weekend. He drives heavy equipment, and this is what I came up with. I started with a stock photo….adjusted brightness/contrast…. applied vignette & lowered opacity….added text. Very quick and he loved it! Enjoy! Nancy
Thanks so much for the Love Story Challenge! I finally got some time to focus on the day 1 tutorial. I used photos from our annual family vacation.featured are the oldest and the youngest members of the family….Thanks Cassel!
