I got the error stating “no module named Random”so I’ll go forward with the Python module.
One of the “free” packets I got with my purchase is a ScriptGuide. Do I need that as well?
Which file that I downloaded?
350,792 KB for PSP X9
21,069 KB for the Python
That’s the size of the application files.
Yes, I knew the gradient fill tool was new with X9. My blindspot had to do with the photo repair that I am sure is in X8 but never seemed to work quite right for me, but seems to be fine in X9. That’s probably a me thing. How can I tell if my version of PSP has patch #3 or not? I’m not seeing a prompt.
I finally broke down and bought PSP X9 at a reduced price, and found something that it has that I love when I use Photoshop (which I am thinking of giving up since I use it less and less). That has to do with the upgraded gradient tool. I also like the way it tidies up my photos…I don’t know why but I couldn’t figure out what to do with X8 but it seemed super easy in X9 (I wouldn’t be surprised if it works exactly the same….I just had a blind spot when it came to X8). Those two things on their lonely makeit worth something to me. I haven’t done much yet so I don’t know if it will be a keeper, but I feel better about letting go of some my earlier versions now.
J = Jack Frost
g = glacier
d = drift….as in snow drift?
Ugh, I live in snowless southern California. Never had snow in my childhood. Bigger challenge then you think.
A = Alps where snow Angels may appear, perhaps?
Yarn – we used to use to tie up hair, or make hair for cloth dolls.
w = wig
Very pretty, Sheila. You made good use out of Cassel’s class. 🙂
V = video games (do they still call them that?)
S = Scrabble
o = Old Maid (I imagine they call this game something else now but in my early days, this was its name; and now it’s mine).
N = Nine Pins (a bowling game)
l = leapfrog
J = Jacks. I remember spending hours playing that game….it was great because it could be played alone or with another person.
I is for I spy (with my little eye) guessing game
f = foosball
Yes, that’s the same card game. Don’t ask me to play it, though. 🙂
E = Euchre (I had to look up the spelling — it’s a card game). Ah, dominos…I remember playing that long ago and far away. This game is bringing back memories.
c = checkers (a favorite of mine when I was a kid),.
z = zoning (as in permits)
X = x-brace
Those are very pretty. How clever of you. Not dangerous….creative. 🙂
W=wire
s = saw
Wow, those are gorgeous. It is great to see someone show how to push the artistic side of PSP (it’s easy to forget what a range of possibilities there are…and I write that knowing there are many talented people in this group who do fabulous things in and out of the sphere of scrapbooking). I have Photoshop too but I am moving to the point where I use it less and less. Thank you for sharing your website. Do post when your new website is ready.
n = nail
Hello, Ed. I’m a non-scrapbooker too. The information you find here is very useful to other projects, but I’d also be interested in what kind of interests you have. Thanks to a creaky computer, I’ve had to cut back quite a bit on doing graphic compositions, but I still like using the tutorials to produce very personal greetings cards for my friends. It’s great fun, and I was glad to discover Cassel as other sites have faded away over time (I’ve been using PSP since version 4, so I’m even creakier than my computer). Welcome to our little group.
