Day 7 – Project 3
The photos are my own.
For this project I took something from different kits, a paper here, an element there. Usually the kits I download come from a Blog Train on digitalscrapbook.com (pixelscrapper). Every month there is a new Blog Train in which different kits are offered for free. For example, this is the link to January’s Blog Train https://www.digitalscrapbook.com/forums/digital-scrapbooking/digitalscrapbookcom-blog-trains/jan-2022-blog-train-final-listCarole, quite correct, a detail I overlooked.
I’ve also moved the title slightly to the right.
thank you.- This reply was modified 2 years, 11 months ago by Marie-Claire.
Carol, thanks for the compliments on my dog.
Day 5, project 2
This is a holiday photo from 2017, together with our friends on holiday in Austria. They have 2 Scottish Collies, one is my dog’s brother. Before there was corona, we went for a walk with the dogs every day. The brothers have seen each other every day for 4 years. Due to the restrictions, they now see each other less and we see our friends less.

Carole, I forgot to pour my coffee 🙂

thank you Lyn, I did use filter Unlimited, but still didn’t quite understand importing and understanding a new database.
Clearly explained, thanks. Thanks Christina for letting us know, I wish Annie a speedy recovery !
Hello everyone,
Wishing Cindy a speedy recovery.
I’m also participating, because even though I’ve learned a lot here on Campus, I’m still learning something new, and this bootcamp will certainly refresh my memory, and make me rediscover things.
And of course for my first photo I choose a photo of my dog. my best friend. My workspace : Complete, color Dark grey
Background : Medium grey
Material Palette : as proposed in PSP 2022 an docked
Layers palette : docked
In the menu View, I put de Rulers and Guidlines :on
I don’t use the organizervery nice to see the various themes, and the beautiful layouts.
Pirrko, I also look at the sky a lot, especially when there are clouds.I used Cassel‘s lifted photos script and the Vellum Paper tutorial in the scrapbook campus.
the background is a gradient from Deviant Art, + an overlay from digitalscrapbook.comB : Botanical garden
This is the oldest botanical garden in Belgium. The university laid out the garden in 1738 for its medical students. It is situated in the city centre and has an extent of 2.2 hectares.
Today, this unique place is managed by the city of Leuven. It has created a tropical conservatory, a water and fruit garden and the sunken garden. This, together with the picnic benches, the sea of flowers and art projects, make the Botanical Garden a favourite resting place for inhabitants and visitors.
Carole ok, now I understand, different styles of scrapbooking that would be interesting indeed.
I also thought about the new Frame tool in PSP 2022, what the possibilities are with that, but that might be a bit difficult because probably not everyone has or wants to use PSP 2022 yet?Since I only stayed in my same environment for the year 2021, and only took pictures during the walks with my dog, I always have pictures of the same environment and usually of my dog. But, I also like to take pictures of the different skies. Since I no longer live in the countryside, that has also become difficult, but I try it anyway, I regret that I often miss the sunrise and sunset.
So I used pictures of the skies I tookI like Rene‘s idea, so I’m going to try to make an album about the city where I live.
Now I just saw the first page of Ann, that’s also a great idea!
Sue I can’t wait to see your wall with your works, that is going to be very beautiful!
Mary The album “Alphabet Soup” is also nice, every letter brings a surpriseHi,
I would also like to learn more about the same points as Rene, Corrie and MaryPhoto manipulations and the various tools.
For exemple, I didn’t know you could use the brush tool to color in for example, or to use bruches with the eraser tool.Carole what do you mean by : another way to create scrapbook projects?
another one where it might be better to see
I went through the last two emails we got about Brighten up those photos and Straighten the horizon.
I think the way with Overlay gives very nice results!
Below I have posted a before and after photo after using the straightening tool to straighten the horizon. My snowy window
Today I made a greeting card with the Frosty Frame Carole gave us in the Christmas Countdown
Dankjewel Corrie
Thanks Carolethis is the link to the quick page I used for my QP-8

Here is my QP-6
I made the text PONCHO with:

Day 5, photos are a continuation of the previous days
Hi! I’m here too, I just registered yesterday.
The photos I use for these 4 days are of my daughter who traveled alone from our homeland Belgium to the USA in September 2004, where she joined a group of young people who, like her, came from all over the world to tour together.
I used circles instead of rectangles, and rectangles instead of the circles
I placed the border on the left, at the top
I made the background from a photo
the pictures of the mushrooms were taken as always during the daily walk with my dog.thank you Bonnie, it’s a male, his name is Poncho 🙂
Michele, yes, I am very happy with the script ! maybe as a christmas or new year gift to yourself 🙂
Thank you LoisCarole’s freebee confetti.
I’m still having a hard time with the confetti settings : Step, Placement mode, Selection modeCarole’s diamond slats script I won, with a photo of my own.
