Thank you Carole for today’s Christmas countdown frames and of course a big thank you to Ann and Corrie for their artwork. Fiona
December 19, 2021 at 9:40 am #69107Love what you all have been doing. Also, Carole, thanks for the Christmas count-down goodies from you and all you “frame ladies”. Wow.
I’ve been stuck (really stuck) on the making of a vector shape clip. I’ve tried several times, even thinking of giving up, but that is not in my nature. Once I have a “bone”, I’ll knaw it until either I get it or it gets me. The vector clip is in Lab 6 Mod 9 and I don’t think I’ll give up. Even went to the PSP Help to look at Modifying lines and curves, Editing contours and paths. My problem is working with nodes, so I also went to PSP Help for Working with Nodes, printed them all out so that I could look at them while I’m working with the vector shape. Wish me luck!
December 19, 2021 at 4:44 pm #69145I made a little something showcasing my heart-kitty, Eve, wearing one of Carole’s holiday hats. Creative Fabrica Christmas background paper, PSP frame, various embellishments. I’ve started building them as 2400×3000 so I can print on my desktop printer.

December 21, 2021 at 6:28 am #69169My last festive project for this year. Whatever your plans are over the Christmas period, I would like to wish you all a wonderful, healthy time. Something to look forward to for this time next year, I will retain this page as a png, to be posted for download.
December 21, 2021 at 6:54 am #69171I had this little humorous quote in my memories for today and I decided to play with a design to match. I knew I had the gnome silhouettes, and that’s what inspired me. Then I thought of the Christmas tree silhouettes I had just acquired so I laid out trees, quote and gnomes in an 8×10. The quote was on a black background, so I went with that for the whole thing. I made all the silhouettes into negative images, to show up against the black background. When I filled the background layer with black, I discovered the silhouettes and quote were not included, so I decided to fill with colors; green for the trees, red for the gnomes and white to border the quote. I finished off with a snowflake punch. 😀
December 21, 2021 at 3:39 pm #69183you asked where are the angels Carol
December 21, 2021 at 3:51 pm #69185This is my attempt at an Angel,
using one of my model figures which I chopped to pieces, the poor thing was decappated.
dressed her in several layered pieces of lace, putting her back together, a lot of juggling.
added wings from vigpin and added coloured shade to that.
Made Halo shape from vector shapes

You, and so many other members, were so generous to share lovely work within the “2021 Christmas Countdown“. The Countdown was a big success!
I apologize if I don’t name everyone, as I am unsure of all the members who have contributed.
I want to thank Carole for another great year on the Campus and EVERYONE that has shared their work. They are an enormous source of inspiration.
Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year to all Scrapbook Campus friends! <3
December 22, 2021 at 10:36 am #69192I thought I would have a little fun with today’s gaming theme, but still keep it pretty. So far my members are loving it. They are so unpredictable as to what they will or won’t like. I guess whichever way the wind is blowing.
December 22, 2021 at 10:50 am #69194Theme: Christmas Toys. Here’s my great-grand Magic with some big Melissa & Doug cardboard blocks (I hear she knocks them down with glee!) and becoming a rodeo rider on her first rocking horse. Three photos from California and Colorado this year. I used a Christmas paper from CF while resurrecting an old busy bee design from one of Carole’s classes. The alpha is from Carole’s wooden puzzle.
December 22, 2021 at 2:42 pm #69206Merry Christmas everyone!
December 22, 2021 at 2:54 pm #69046Here is a little something for Sue so show my appreciation for your contributions. And well, I just thought of you when I saw it in my in box (from Colossal – and art site). It’s beautiful and mesmerizing and right up your alley.
hope I did the the link right.
December 23, 2021 at 6:01 pm #69266With this card I want to wish all my fellowscrappers here a wonderful Christmas in what again has been a difficult year for many of us. Being here and enjoying all the great pages has made a lot of difference and brought a lot of friendship with people all over the world. I sincerely hope that will continue next year!
Carole a special thanks to you for all the work and the great ideas like this Chritmas Countdown and I do hope that will become a tradition.
Happy Holidays and Happy 2022!
December 23, 2021 at 6:16 pm #69267Corrie, I definitely will repeat that next year!
December 24, 2021 at 10:07 am #69278Carole, I vote for the return of the Banana Box Christmas song on Christmas Countdown 2022!
December 24, 2021 at 11:02 am #69282I used Cassel’s Photo Masks script on the photo. The script will keep changing the mask until you are satisfied and when it’s done, it gives you the option of saving the mask. I also used her Bow 11 script and added a ribbon beneath it. I used the same texture effect on all the elements except the photos. The font is Melinda Script. As usual, I wanted to work on some details, but time ran out.
December 24, 2021 at 11:18 am #69284To all who celebrate.
December 24, 2021 at 2:05 pm #69285Cristina, I am taking notes!
December 25, 2021 at 1:47 pm #69295First off I want to wish everyone a wonderful day. I don’t comment very often on individual posts, but I truly enjoy all of them and learn something from a lot of them. —
I have been playing with creating this today. The animals are from IMG_5581 Card Watercolor-Background-of-Merry-Christmas-19128931 and several others from that group. I arranged them to my lining and then did a lot of duplicating, cloning, and erasing to try to smooth it out. The “Believe” is adapted from on of the freebies from Creative Fabrica today. It took quite a while, but I had great fun playing with it.
December 26, 2021 at 4:30 pm #69303I went through the last two emails we got about Brighten up those photos and Straighten the horizon.
I think the way with Overlay gives very nice results!
Below I have posted a before and after photo after using the straightening tool to straighten the horizon.December 26, 2021 at 4:38 pm #69306another one where it might be better to see
December 27, 2021 at 6:37 am #69311Just wanted to give a shout out to Sue Thomas for her generosity. <3
I used her triple frame technique to make Musician Performance. The pic is from Pixabay.
For Merry Christmas I used her swash tree.
(For any newbies to the campus, I have a FB gaming group. The game is City Girl Life and it picks a different theme every day.)
December 27, 2021 at 2:17 pm #69312Michele what would we do without all the wonderful things Sue is sharing with us and not only the goodies but the ideas and inspiration!!! The triple frame technique is new to me, maybe I have seen it before but at that point I wasn’t able to use it, now I will give it a try some day. Both your layouts are lovely.
December 27, 2021 at 4:37 pm #69316I spent 4 days in Florida at a pickleball clinic. I traded 40 degree weather for mid to upper 70’s to maybe 80. A real joy!
December 27, 2021 at 4:38 pm #69318I made a sports card for my friend…
December 28, 2021 at 5:53 am #69326Thank you, Corrie.
December 29, 2021 at 7:12 am #69359Great pictures.
December 29, 2021 at 7:14 am #69360Bonnie, I like the color combination (and of course the lay out too )
December 29, 2021 at 7:18 am #69361Michele, the frame project is wonderful! 🙂 I see the frame came from Sue? Wow!
December 29, 2021 at 7:32 am #69374The Up-to-date calenders 2022 are given as a present and one for our own house on the wall. 🙂
I’ve been busy with a birthcard which I can’t show , the baby will be born in February. Future parents are satisfied with the result, so now we have to wait till it’s born.
I wanted to something creative for myself now.
My youngest son told me to watch Outlander, he binged the series. I knew the books by Diana Gabaldon, but never read them. Well, after a few episodes on Netflix I was hooked and started reading the books, almost finished with book 3.
The story is so wonderful, I had to do something creative with it. This is the result, it’s on my hobbyroom wall now 🙂
(I noticed after printing I had the february and july pics with English spelling instead of Dutch…..)
