            Happy Birthday Carole! ?

I hope you have a great day. Thank you for your gifts in the store, like Cristina say, it’s your birthday and we are getting the presents. Thank you for everything you teach and give us with such passion.

Meanwhile I just tried two frames with a lace ribbon, they are a bit too wide but it was just for practice, and made a frame with the edge-font2 from Carole’s store, and it worked without problem 🙂

thank you Sue for bringing it to my attention  (#74993)

Corrie I use google translate, it works very well, but from the explanation I did not understand that I first had to create a ribbon or lace or whatever separately. Now with Sue’s explanation, and now that I’ve seen the video my euro has fallen, as we say here ?

Not everyone my age has much or little knowledge of English. Especially manuals that deal with specific things are not always clear when it is in another language.
Some people my age  have never worked on a computer, and don’t start doing so until they are retired
It’s different for the younger generation, of course ?

Thank you Sue and Carole for looking at my problem.

Sue, your comment That the element has to be completely horizontal to begin with, that’s the answer I was looking for. What should I start with before I run the script. With the link to the video with the lace bruches it is now super clear! I had in mind that I had watched a video somewhere where the mitered corner was explained, but I wasn’t sure anymore and couldn’t find it anywhere.

Carole, to use the script then is very clear indeed. Follow the prompts and it will work by itself, very good script, I actually didn’t manage to formulate my question clearly, but Sue gave the answer

I am someone who always reads the instructions, but it is not always obvious when it is written in a language other than your own, and sometimes 1 misunderstood word confuses everything

With the link to the video about the lace bruches, it has become completely clear

Thank you!! now i’m going to practice a little ?

I live in a neighboring country  of Corrie, and just like them, we are also afraid that it would escalate further. It is now also rumored that nuclear weapons would be used. I just saw on news that people have already started getting iodine tablets from the pharmacist.  I am also afraid that this will not end well

                                So much to remember!
one should find a way to write down when you see something you would still like to use or try, along with where to find it.
But just writing everything down one after the other isn’t an easy way when you’re looking for something

Yes! that’s it, thank you. I didn’t have in mind to make a plaid with it, so I didn’t go and watch that tutorial.
I had gotten to the point of enlarging the canvas, but then I was stuck. I didn’t know what else to do. So it was: Effects, Rotating Mirror, that I needed to move on.
                                  Thank you!

yes I mean you select a long fine rectangular selection and with that selection you make a background but I just remember I thought it was a nice background and I loved it because you had the colors of the photo that way too, but it wasn’t a plaid.
I know I can’t give a lot of details, and it’s kinda vague that way

I have never used the user defined filters. Is it something interesting to know for what and how it can be used? Or is there already a class or blog post about it somewhere?

Carole ok, now I understand, different styles of scrapbooking that would be interesting indeed.
I also thought about the new Frame tool in PSP 2022, what the possibilities are with that, but that might be a bit difficult because probably not everyone has or wants to use PSP 2022 yet?

                                              Hi,
I would also like to learn more about the same points as Rene, Corrie and Mary

Photo manipulations and the various tools.
For exemple, I didn’t know you could use the brush tool to color in for example, or to use bruches with the eraser tool.

Carole what do you mean by : another way to create scrapbook projects?

I actually don’t know anymore how and what you can use the script for.
I have downloaded it, so I will have seen an explanation by you about it in a tutorial or webinar I suppose. Probably a while ago and have now forgotten how to use the script.

                                                                Hi Cassel,

                                                                Thank you,

I think I have not explained correctly what I mean.
I have a Fonts2 folder containing fonts and sub folders each containing fonts. In total there are almost 2000 fonts
When I open nexusfont and click on the Fonts2 folder, it opens all fonts, including the font subfolders. that takes a while.
I was wondering if it was the right way to create 1 folder with sub folders in it.

but I now reread your message several times, and I understand that you also talk about 1 folder with different sub folders in it?

I am aware that I have to keep a big clean in my fonts, there are many that are similar.
