Pirkko, I absolutely love this layout!
LOL, Susan.
C = Curling
U = Underhand ~ a pitch used in women’s softball. (I played when I was young and I was horrible!)
Marie-Claire, great job on the Doggie Walk layout; I love the color palette.
P = Pickleball (Sorry, Bonnie)
D = Dismount
I found this in my files already downsized to 600 so I guess I must have shared it here at some point. The pic is my nephew and his two boys.
T = Table Tennis
I can’t say enough about how wonderful all of these are. Such different interpretations and all great!
Thanks so much, Cristina.
Pirkko, you are too funny! Thanks for the giggles.
Thanks, MoniqueN!
Thank you, ladies. <3
Here’s another of Corel’s templates I used, “card-frame-frame-03.” I ran across the pic of the girls several years ago and absolutely fell in love with it, but couldn’t track down the original in order to give credit. I adjusted the size to fit FB’s format and changed the colors by picking them from the photo. Using the Mosaic Glass effect gave the frame a little more interest without “overpowering” the subjects. The text font is Childwood Normal (free from CF) and the little decorative dingbats are Gumi Font Symbols (free from Dafont).
Oh, Ann, Mr. Chip is so darn cute! I know we have chipmunks in NY, but I don’t remember ever seeing one.
U = Unwavering loyalty
Thanks so much, Dawn.
One of Cassel’s quick pages inspired my Life of the Party theme. With FB’s new format I tend to work on pages that conform so they are displayed properly. 3000 x 2000 pixels or thereabouts seems to work. If you don’t use that ratio, FB adds borders that don’t necessarily look good as those of you who post on FB already know.
Sometimes templates are the way to go when you’re rushed for time as I usually am for my daily pic. I started with Corel’s collage template 05 and went from there.
They are just beautiful, Dawn. And you know I love the freebies from the Graphics Fairy. I’ve missed your work.
O = Old friends (I just had to after MoniqueN’s post. 🙂
C = Caring
Used cass’s twisted ropes picture tube and the vector tube script on the text and to make the frames. It’s hard to see at this size, but it really made the layout come together. I’ll post the full size on the Scrapbooking with PSP page on FB if you want to see the detail.
Ann, I love your frame! You really went to town with the stitch fonts. Fantastic.
Fantastic, Marvin! I love it.
I love your layout, Sue. Being right-handed I never thought about left-handed people in terms of a mouse. I was curious so I googled it. While they are few and far between, there are mice made for you. Alternately, you can reconfigure a mouse to accommodate you. In Control Panel click on Mouse and in the properties menu you can switch the left and right click buttons.
S = Silliness
Dawn, besides missing you, I’ve missed your beautiful cards. They’ve always been an inspiration for me and these latest are no different. Welcome back. <3
N = New friends
I’m so glad you found the silver backgrounds I posted to be useful, Brian. I love what you did with them.
Mary, I don’t know why you’re not happy with your botanic garden layout. I think it’s lovely and lots of fun. And Curlz MT is a perfect font for your light-hearted page.
