Yes we are safe there was little damage where I live in Halifax we lost power for a day and internet for 2 day, my landline phone is still out but the peninsular Halifax suffered a lot of downed trees and building damage as well as surge damage on the waterfront. The storm covered the whole province so many still don’t have power or phone service. The loss of phone service was a new one as before Bell Aliant landlines never seem to go down during a storm it seem new technology isn’t as reliable as the old in times like these. Our Koodo cell service went down for the night but came back the next day. The farmers in the valley took a bad hit as the apple crop was at its peak and from what I hear the corn corp may be wiped out too. The storm surge also did quite a number on our coastal towns and villages as well.
My flowers this year.
Yep! That is also why I now paint digitally it take up less space and no mess!
Wanda, I’m with you using others templates and stuff don’t work for me either unless it is a crash job for someone else. LOL
Jerri, Nicely done!
I created this one for my Husband’s family his sister and her daughter are big time scrapers, her daughter has a room set aside to do it.
Rhonda, Often with older computers reducing the size and resolution makes a big difference,
Very nice!
Ronda since you have an older computer I would recommend at least for exercise purposes that you use a smaller size for the project for example 1800 p or 900 for the image and 150 or even the default 72 instead of 300 ppi. Also I have found with having my paintings printing at 150 ppi has worked very well for both my regular inkjet and for my commercial printer (Fine Art America and a local printing company), this may make this more fun for you. The skills you learn are the same not matter the size you are working in.
Your page is lovely.
A very nice look!
Wanda, we all have days like that, your page is fine!
I’m not really happy with this one as some of the elements I made didn’t work out, and it is a bit sparce.
