Corrie, I have had problems with downloading things in Chrome as well.  It used to work then didn’t so I guess it may have been due to an update.  What I discovered works for me is to right click on the link I want to download then choose Open link in new window.  I get a new window and the download starts immediately.  May also work with the Open in new tab but I haven’t tried that.

OK, I just got it to work part way.  Moved my 3 icons to the right end of their section on the layers palette toolbar.  Had to have the Customize window open before they would move.  I can’t get them past that little divider line but this is better so I can add my own frequently used icons in there.

I am set now.  I was able to move the icons on the right end to the left over the divider bar and put them where I want.  At least now if I add any more icons it won’t make some of the more used icons disappear off the right end so you have to use the little drop down arrow to access them each time.

Cassel, it hides the icons on the right end of the palette leaving the ones I don’t use.  In your video for Module 3, your toolbar at the top of the layers palette is what I am trying to achieve.  I think in one of you other videos, I saw  the Expand/Collapse/Quick Search icons on the right end of your layers toolbar.  If I can find the icons I want to keep, maybe I can pull them off the toolbar and then go through Customize to drag them back onto the front end.

Cassel, I was trying to do the screenshot by going to File>Screenshot and after I click start I get what looks like a new page on my taskbar but it says Page failed to load and there is no page.

If I pull off the 3 icons on the layers palette top toolbar, will I be able to put them back later if I need them?  I looked in the Customize menu and don’t see those 3 listed anywhere to grab and drag back.

Here is a picture of my screen in PaintShop Pro 2021.  I used the Snipping Tool because I couldn’t get the screenshot in PaintShop Pro to work – kept saying the Page failed to load.  Cassel, can you help?

Also on my Layers palette, the first 3 icons are ones I don’t think I will use much: Collapse all layers/Expand all layers/Open Quick Search.  Is there a way to remove them or at least move them to the far right end of the layers toolbar?

Cassel, I’m still here.  Last week got away from me and I am catching up.  My real interest is in learning how to use PaintShop Pro.  I had never done digital scrapbooking until I took your Bootcamp and Basic Scrap course.  This time around I have been concentrating on the skills you teach rather than creating a new layout.  I got totally engrossed  playing with Levels and going through so many photos bringing out colors. So now I have a question –

I wanted to put a “before” and an “after” photo on one page to save and post here.  It was a tall rectangle and when I sized the before and after side by side to fill my page width, they were shorter than the 3600 x 3600 page length.  How do I resize the page/canvas to match the 2 side by side photos?  I merged them into one layer and used PSP’s help to resize the canvas, but it resized the photos instead.  And after I save the side by side as a jpg and then try to resize to 660 for posting, sometimes my page stays the same size and I get a tiny photo in the middle.  I’m missing something obviously…

OK, I may have gotten the Canvas resize to work through some trial and error.  Instead let me ask How do I find the size of the image on the canvas?  Everything seems to tell me the size of the page/canvas , not the photo itself?

These colors don’t seem too inspired to me.  More indicative of how 2020 has been. I wish they had picked something vibrant and cheerful to set the tone for next year.  I used the colors to make a couple of patterns and random shapes I might be able to use in something.  Wow, this upload makes the colors look really off but they are a match to the Pantone colors in my program.

I got behind this week.  Here is Project 3.  I really need to get more papers and decorative pieces so I can make my photos show up better.  Carole, this is the first time I have really used PSP.  I’ve had it since 2018 but just got frustrated with it and left it alone.  I have however used drop shadows a lot in CorelDraw so that was probably the easiest part of this exercise for me.

I love the tutorials so far.  Carole’s explanations are so easy to understand and follow.  I just have to quit instinctively trying to do things the way they are done in CorelDraw which I have used for years.  Here’s my second project.

Hi.  I am totally new to digital scrapbooks.  The last time I did a scrapbook of any kind, the pages were black or vanilla color and you used those black corners to glue the pictures down.  Since I don’t have kits or goodies yet, I used mostly elements I already had to complete the first two projects.  They are really basic since I’m figuring out PSP and scrapbooks.  Here is Day 3 Project 1:
