Helen and Michelle, Good job on the paper and tag! The Campus is a great place to learn new things. I love it!

I just saw this thread. The ghosts, witch hats and broom link does not work “for me”. I used a pic my sister-in-law took on their trip to Ky and the kit LaSorciere by ADS. I love the tubes – thank you Carole!

Sharron the font is Scythe. You can get it here: https://www.wfonts.com/font/scythe. There are plenty of free foont/scrap sources on the internet. One of the best places to get a big variety is Craft Crave. Sign up for the daily newsletter https://www.craftcrave.com/ You would want to click on the Blog section. Have fun, it is addicting!

A friend of mine posted a picture of a leaf with decorations on it to look like a wolf. It would make a nice craft for kids. I did my own in PSP. That was fun!

I just made this layout of my cat Heidi for Halloween. I used Snickerdoodle Designs Trick or Treat Collection to make it. Heidi didn’t mind the bow, she just doesn’t like her picture taken! LOL

I haven’t done a lot since being sick for over a week, but I did realize I had not madean October Desktop (I make one every month). I decided to use my daughters cat Mama for the subject since she caught the mouse I had running around. I used Snickerdoodle Designs This Is Me October Collection to make it.

Here’s my vampire try. I had posted it on Facebook, but forgot to put it here till I saw Caroles email tonight. Teri, I love yours too!

Teri I love your layouts! Such a sad story about the children dying in the fire. They had a rough life for sure.

This is my maternal grandparents house that was in Auxier, Ky. My father would take us there every summer (we lived in Norfolk, Va). My grandfather built that house before I was born. It had 2 bedrooms and rare for the time and area and indoor bathroom. He built my grandmother a pond in front of the house under the kitchen window. We would watch the fish while we ate meals and enjoyed feeding them every day. Actually, it was only about 3 ft deep, but as kids we thought it went to China! In the picture to the left is their smokehouse and under that was a root cellar. Behind the house and down the hill was a barn. A chicken coop was next to the barn. As kids, we would help my grandmother churn butter, make homemade soap and break beans. We loved going to the garden and cut vegetables or berries for meal/deserts. We helped our grandfather hoe corn and thought it was fun! You can see a wooden swing frame at the base of the tree to the right. There are soooo many precious memories associated with that house. Kids today miss out from knowing the wonderment of the “old ways”.
Rae, your pages are beautiful and interesting! I love the King’s Mistress in the keyhole too!

Thank you Christina. I only make tags now for one friend and she is like me, she can’t get them in AOL. I hope they let us return to that. It was fun to change the signature tags for the seasons/events.

I’m glad you enjoy my pages and stories! Snakes and mice were our toys as children. I’m not afraid of them, but, I don’t want one running across my feet or stepping on one in the dark. My panic was I couldn’t get in touch with my daughters to get me traps. It doesn’t take much to get my nerves cranked up these days. I don’t want to “play” with them now! LOL

Thank you Micfin! Dawn, that’s how I learned animation shop. I can animate just about anything. I use to make screensavers of my grandson when he was small as well. I could just add a signature tag to an email, but in AOL you use to be able to set it up to be in every email. Once it went to a paid program, I can’t get it to work. I need to call AOL and find out what’s up, just haven’t done it yet. 🙁
I learned PSP in PSP Groups, and they made tags (most of mine are animated). I did it for YEARS, before I got into digital scrapbooking. I learned mostly doing every tag tutorial I could find. I also make animated comp sets (Thank You, You’re Welcome, etc).

DeLoris
Dawn, these are lovely! I use to make signature tags (mostly animated one). I have 100’s but I cannot figure out how to get them into the new AOL Gold! 🙁

Dawn,
I got a reply in my email about things you have posted, but there was no link to see them. Here’s what you wrote, if that helps: here is a couple of email greetings/tags that I have done… have included lessons from the Lab on these 2… Lab 8-01 Paper cutout…Lab 8-02 Word Frame and also the Filled Cutout from this months Lab 8-10…. on the paper cutout i used a butterfly brush instead of trying to draw something to see how it would look and this is the result i got… i did add a small bevel… both sentiments are purchased digi stamps .. the swirls made with a brush and also used some tubes.
I don’t know where to find them 🙁
Hugs,
DeLoris
I just saw this. You did great!

I used the house template Carole provided in her newsletter. I don’t know how well you can read what is written with the picture being so small. I moved into this Senior Apt Complex to get away from yard work and shoveling snow. It is quaint and very homey here and I love it! My grandson worked soo hard carrying boxes for me (I had spinal fusion 1 month after moving here). He was such a trooper! When we went to get the last of some small thing, he stayed here and passed out on his bed before it was even put together! This was a fun template to work with. Thank you Carole!
Hugs,
DeLoris
Her friends have already suggested it to her! LOL
