Karon, thank you so much for your words of encouragement on my layout. They mean a lot to me.
Your pages are lovely! You always show us great and creative layouts from the Lab tutorials/experiments. Great work!… I am still waiting for some inspiration for me to go back to the Lab tutorials. : )
Annie, what a beautiful layout! I love the background color combined with the patterned papers/titles… By the way, this is a very handsome cockatoo! : ) …Through the layouts posted here, we can learn a lot about other countries.
Corrie, thank you very much for your kind comment on my layout. It is very much appreciated, my friend. : )
Raymond, lovely page. Well done!
Ann, what a wonderful tribute to your granddaughter. Great layout!
Annie, you did it again! I love, love your layouts, all the techniques, and details. Beautiful work, my friend! : )
Lynda, thank you for commenting on my layout. As Michele said, my confidence can always use a boost. : )
Certainly, it will not be an easy task, and I do wish all the success for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s government. This is important not only for the USA but also all the world. : )
Minka, impressive result achieved with the Laplacien Enhanced plug-in… I like Carole’s Year in Review-2020 Template very much, and your layout, like all the others posted here, inspires me to create one layout of my own.
Lynda, very appropriate layout, and congratulations on this historic day! : )
It looks like my previous comment went into a dark hole, so here it goes again…
Dear Annie, thank you so much for your words of encouragement. Hugs, my friend! <3
Val, thank you for your kind comment, but I have to credit Scrapping with Liz (The Lilypad), the template designer. She has created other templates for the Travel theme that I like very much.
Bonnie, thanks a lot! I have to say that I doubted myself along the process.
Thank you all for the comments; they mean a lot to me.
Minka, you create a lovely layout for Henry, and I love the puzzle photo in the middle.
I wrote another comment, and after I had edited it, it disappeared… and I did not copy as I usually do. : (
Carole, could you please check if it is hidden somewhere?
Dear Annie, thank you so much for your words of encouragement. Hugs, my friend! <3
Val, thank you for your kind comment. : ) I have to credit Liz (The Lilypad-Scrapping with Liz), the template designer. She has great templates for the Travel theme, and I’ve used some in the past.
Bonnie, thank you so much! I have to admit I was not so sure about the result.
You all helped to boost my confidence. <3 Thank you!
Ann, thank you! <3 Being here for many years, I have learned a lot from Carole, but there is so much more!
I started working on the background with the idea of having a grungy look… After trying different techniques, I ended up with 4 layers. It was trial and error, and it took me days. Everybody else would probably be faster!
1st Layer: white background (optional)
2nd Layer: Pixel Scrapper-2020Sep Artsy Papers “A Beautiful Mess BG-03” – Opacity=75%
3rd Layer: The Lilypad-Allison Pennigton “Simpatico” Solid Backs-Kraft 05 – Blend Mode: Hard Light
4th Layer: Turkey Text paper – Blend Mode: Overlay – Opacity= 32%
I will add a print screen, so you have a better idea. : )
Finally, after a long time, I was able to create and finish one scrapbook layout. I am happy to be working again with PSP.

I added confetti that I created some time ago following Carole’s tutorial (Creative Scrap>Miscellaneous>Confetti).
Hi Michele, all three layouts look great. I like the Ice Text very much; the Illustration really draws attention, and the text and font in the middle fit perfectly. The Antique Mosaic added a special effect to the otherwise regular background. Good job!
Bonnie, what a lovely layout and bird. Great idea to use the out of bounds technique.
Lynda, very nice layout to showcase your macro photos. Great result… I love Cassel’s Lift photo script and you had a good idea to use it with the ribbon-like element… I have never thought of using it this way.
I have not been very active lately, but I love to come here and see the wonderful work each and everyone is doing. Great job! The Campus is definitely a source of inspiration.
Annie, thank you so much for your kind words. <3
For the last weeks, I have been lacking inspiration for creating layouts and also for what to write… This is one of the reasons why I have not been very active here on the Campus. But, there is light ahead, as after working for days, I am finishing a layout, which I haven’t done for months. : )
Although the long lockdown, the number of cases here is not going down, and the talks are that it will be extended again. But I cannot complain, as we are all healthy, and this is what is important… For me, the vaccine cannot come early enough, but I have to wait for my turn. : )
Best wishes, my dear friend! <3
Hi Everyone! : ) I haven’t been here for a long while, and I see that there have been so many lovely and creative work posted in all threads on the Campus. I need more time/days to go over each one, but I just want to say hi first.
I started again working on a layout… hopefully, I will finish it in the next days. : )
Best wishes to everybody!
January 11, 2021 at 10:39 am in reply to: Lab 7 Module 2 Numbered List, Folded edges, Paint splatter #51381Val, lovely layouts. Nice job!
Karon, you created a beautiful layout with the Lab11-01 tutorials. Great job!
Carole and Scrapbook Friends, I want to wish all of you a Happy, Healthy, and Joyful 2021. May the New Year bring a Smile and Hope of a better future to Everyone. <3
Everyone has posted spectacular work! Sometimes I repeat myself, but it is because you all create amazing stuff, going in all directions. Great work!
Dear Karon, thank you so much for your kind words. : ) <3 … Christmas was different this year, and even with limitations, it was special. My mother-in-law was here as always, but not the rest of the family, and she was happy to see everybody in a video-meeting.
Dear Annie, you have a kind heart for sure. I share the same beliefs you do; I have my faith, but I am not a religious person, and I also care about my spiritual growth, but I am pretty much aware that there is a long road ahead of me. : )
Dorothy, I can only imagine how worried you were; the photo shows how bad it was, and I hope he is feeling better by now.
Minka, you created a lovely layout with the wooden Alpha.
Annie, you created a beautiful Alpha; I love it.
Annie, I am so, so sorry to hear what has happened with friends of yours. : (
I can only hope that everyone involved in these tragedies finds somehow comfort and strength to overcome these horrible events.
I want to wish Carole and each and Everyone a Happy Christmas… Maybe this is not the one that everybody was planning or counting, but next year will be for sure better, and hopefully, all of this forgotten.
Merry Christmas, Scrapbook Campus Friends!
Lovely and creative layouts have been posted here. Everyone is doing a great job with PSP.
This tutorial was so much fun. I am reposting here the 4th Gnome I created… I am sure it will not be the last one.
I was inspired by illustrations I saw on the internet, and I used a cutout effect on the nose, as Sue McGuire did on hers (FB Group).
I used Cassel’s Metallic Rope-04 Picture Tube on the hat.

Karon, thank you so much; your words of appreciation and incentive means a lot to me. >3 You also never forget anyone in your comments. : )
Ann, Day 17 layout is beautiful, and I love the snow script… I wonder if this is not one of Carole’s. : )
Minka, what a lovely layout to register these unforgettable moments.
Val, thank you. : ) Carole has some great picture tubes, and I only remembered to use those in my last version. Your Gnome is so cute, and what a great idea to use the garland on the hat.
Minka, I love to read your stories.
Bonnie, good idea to use the paddle as a template for the subway art.
Ann, nice layout to register your good memories.
Dear Annie, thank you so very much for your kind comment; it is always very much appreciated, my friend! >3
You always have heartfelt words of incentive for each and everyone here. You are a sweet person. : ) >3
I posted, and after editing, the post disappeared. It might appear later as it happened before, but here is the post again.
Lately, I haven’t been inspired to create scrapbook layouts, but I had lots of fun with the gnomes, trees, and garland from December Masterclass. It was a good distraction to everything that has been happening for the last months and all the concerns we all have.
So, here is my gnome. I decided to create him mostly using the pen tool, as I am still not too comfortable working with vectors. I was inspired by some illustrations I saw on the internet.
Sue McGuire said on the FB Group that she had created the nose with the cutout effect instead of bevel, so I decided to do it with this friend.
I used Cassel’s Metallic Rope-04.
