Carole I only noticed that your list of options was much longer than the one I was seeing, but after looking into those options I agree it is only admin stuff and not for us uers of the gallery.
Rene I have 15 too, but the last one …., maybe I’ll sleep over it, there are still days to hunt
D = Dinar, a currency used in many countries in the Middle East
I’ll make/find time in my busy schedule!
Z = Zimbabwean Dollar (ZWL)
For the Q&A list I also, like Lynda would like to know about those special brushes and in particular the Change to Target, quite some time ago it came up in one of the masterclasses but I cann’t find where that was. I have tried to do it from memory but I think I miss a step in the procedure.
Carole I checked and have deleted that image! However I do not get the whole list you showed, I only got 2 options: edit image and delete.
Carole, Yes I found the gear but when I click on it I see Manage Image, but that is it. I do not get the list that you show above. The left side with the stars and +Add Tag and View photo EXIF that is all there.
Sorry for my late response I have so many things to organize and do (including 2 birthdays visits today) before my upcoming surgery on September 22. It has costed me a complete day just to find crutches that I’m able to use because my left thumb is in a fixed position and cann’t bend to hold them. I got hold of a pair in the end, but that kind of things cost so much time. I’m not complaning, just annoyed…….
T = Tael China
Carole maybe not a question for the Q&A, but is it possible to delete and entry that I have posted in the Gallery and when yes: how? I posted an entry double and I think I will not be the only one who is that stupid now or in the future.
Ann, beautiful and the frame makes the watercolor stand out.
O = Ostmark in Lithuania
The letter R stands for “Ronde van Etten-Leur” a cycling race in the centre of the village. It includes a race for children with their own “normal” bikes, a race for the little ones on their balance- or learningbikes, a race for prominent and importent people in the community, old racing cyclists and an omnium for the racing professionals. This year was the 14th tour after 2 years of being cancelled due to corona and in many years, including this year, the winner of the Tour the France has come to race together with a lot of well known other prof racing cyclists.
The top photo and the photo on the right come from an internetsite with the commentary of the event. The layout is in keeping with the rest of my alphabet.
Ladies thank you for all the praise, you make me blush!
Ann that 2nd layout for this scraplift challenge is as nice as the 1st!
I am a bit late with the scraplift challenge in the last days of Augustus so I post it here. I had the flowerpaper in my stash and made the other 2 and the ribbon with the ribbonfactory script and I’m very glad I bought the raster to mask script. I know perfectly well how to do it but the script saves a lot of time. I have done this technique so many times that it becomes a bit boring! The photos are taken last weekend in the gardens of Appeltern (DE Tuinen van Appeltern), a very extensive area with many show gardens and materials and planting. Monique has once showed something about these gardens in a project too.
O = Old money, meaning wealth that has been inherited rather than earned
F = Franc
Ann, I have no fear of heights but seeing your layout, it almost makes me dizzy. It’s quite powerfull in a slightly strange way. I see why you find it therapeutic!
I just uploaded a couple of my pages in different categories and for me it works smoothly and rather intuitive too. I noticed when I click on View Photo EXIF information there comes a lot of data that to me doesn’t add extra info. EXIF is supposted to give the data on a photo, like apperture, the f number, if it is done manually or on automatic etc. We however mostly use photos as part of a whole layout. To me this makes no sense in this way only for a gallery that is for photos only. A tutorial with the explanation on all the posibilities would be helpfull. I didn’t tag etc for those 4 option because that is the only thing I wasn’t sure of ,I have no experience with galleries or other forums. The whole concept is exciting though.
F = Fencing, the art of fighting with a sword
Day 7 and finished! The story about being good is already told in the previous challenge and I really didn’t know what to write about, but being nice to a little dog will fit in I think. So my layout is all about dogs and the supplies come from many different sources and some of them I adapted for this story, I used blend modes, overlays, metal leters on the name tag and I placed a photo of my little friend in a round tag. Way back when I started scrapbooking I tried to do just that and had to try many times before I had a more or less acceptable tag. But this time round it went smoothly, so I obviously learned a lot from Carole and the Campus.
Thanks for all the good wishes and yes I will do my rehab faithfully, or at least as good as I can.
On the challenge two years ago I talked about my fear for lighting, but I’m sorry that was my only big fear I can think of. So I tell a story that is related to fear and again about a movie. I used template 6b and the papers are from the Practical Scrapper in the July 2022 Blogtrain. The filmposter and the pistol are from internet; the cluster and gallows silhoutte are from digitalscrapbook.com
Carole yes I know about geocaching, but that isn’t anywhere near where I live, so I will be doing short walks and immediatly after surgery there will be crutches, therapy and being very patient and obidient; both of which I’m NOT. I will be happy if afterwards I still can do my normal walks, go swimming and travel on my own, so fingers crossed. I don’t mind getting older but all the annoying things that come along…. By the way the other hamster lived his life to the end.
Ann thank you, I’ll let know when I’m absent for a couple of days and hopefully I can do some scrapping it will depend on how the surgery goes.
Bonnie an impressive story of your athletic lifestyle, you are an inspiration for a lot of people!
Gerry I know what you are going through, I have been there already and it is in my experience that in the unexpected little things I miss my mom the most.
For Day 5 I didn’t used the extra template (I’ll keep that for another project) because I wanted to do the title in the circle and I didn’t have time enough to make a layout from scratch. The kit I used is boozy wine by Marissa Lerin and an alpha I have in my stash, also by Marissa. The photo is mine as always and the font is Calligraphy; in this page it fits despite the fact that it is a bit harder to read.
W = Wild Water Rafting I hope we didn’t have this one already
Sue, Anne, Mary you all did make very lovely layouts! I love this technique and already used it a couple of times in other projects.
I wish you good luck with all the very welcome changes and I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a smooth transition, afterall be aware of the gremlins!
What causes it when something doesn’t go according to plan, in the end everything goes wrong apart from Murphy’s law? This week I’m in a rollercoaster of all kind of things, but in between I managed to do day 4, more or less as a diversion from the problems. I used 3 photos, sorry I cann’t do without them but they are complementory to the story. I used 2 papers from my stash and colored the other 2, the orange with some noise. The ribbon I did for an earlier project from the flower at the bottom; and a hobby tag from Carole. The fonts are Bauhaus and Bernard condensed. Hopefully I tomorrow will give me some time , but I doubt it.
All the stories are a joy to read and the layouts suit those stories
Although I was a very good girl in school I once was in a conspiracy with my friends to do something bad.
For this layout I used papers and embelishments from Escale Amoureuse that. The poster I found on the internet and if have a template for a ticket but I don’t recall where I found it, when I started with scrapbooking I did not always documented my stuff. The font is Balloon
Template for Day 2b and I so much like the new templates! It doesn’t feel I’m repeating myself for this workshop. I tell the story of my hamsters and for the papers I used a freebie by Creative Fabrica from 2 days ago called RetroLinnen. The photo comes from the internet because I don’t have one of my own hamsters and the other embellishmments are from digitalscrapbooking.com. The font is a layered font called Groovy Yellow.
I like to read all the happy, funny and sad stories and see the layouts that are all different, even by using the same templates! So well done everybody.
